Sherry the bartender walked up beside me even though I was obviously not a regular, sticks her hand out and says, Hi my name is Sherry!
Met some of the people that are regularly at the bar. Mary, Johnny and others.
Not a Non Smokers place but the service and conversation are amazing!

“Mexican Inn is one of my to go to places for Mexican dining. From the moment they place the delicious chips on the table(my favorite is the strips that puff up because when I dip them in the hot sauce I actually get a bite of sauce) till I get my food, it is a very enjoyable experience. The food is fabulous and enough of it that I never quite eat all of it. The staff goes to great lengths to ensure that our comfort and safety because my husband who is almost 84 has mobility issues and until recently used a cane. He had a bad fall and now uses a walker to aid his stability. The first place we will when he starts getting out is Mexican Inn! Bettie Wylie“

“Pearls is one of the best old country bars in the Stock Yards. If you want laid-back adult dancing solid country experience without all of the younger craziness, this is the place.“

“Went here on a Friday evening with a couple friends and had a pretty good time. The place had a relaxed vibe without being too loud, which made it easy to actually have conversations. Bartender was friendly and gave a few solid drink suggestions. The cocktails came out quick and tasted great. We also ordered some appetizers and everything was fresh and hot. It did get a little busy later in the night, but service still stayed decent. Not the fanciest spot around, but it's somewhere I'd definitely come back to for drinks and a chill night out.“

“Just left and will never go back. Ordered a burger and didn’t realize until I had eaten several bites that a large portion in the middle was totally raw. Not just undercooked a little - totally raw. I chose to not send it back as I had consumed some of it but saved it to show the waitress. When she told the manager, the manager blamed her ( the waitress). I then spoke to the manager and she would not listen and kept insisting it was the waitress who was responsible. She talked right over me, and was downright nasty.She admitted she didn’t bother to look at the burger. No customer service skills whatsoever. I was not asking for anything just explaining it was not the waitress’ fault that the kitchen didn’t cook the burger. The waitress was very concerned and apologized. She did an excellent job of customer service.“

“I had the best experience here, my first time. Had a fabulous cocktail made by my server, rock shrimp was amazing, crab cake salad was another amazing dish, chock full of lump crab. My server was fabulous and the manager was also very attentive and looked after me as I was dining alone. I definitely plan on visiting again! Delicious!“

“OMG....My new BEST place!! Why no previous reviews (that I read) mentioning the POKER table game going on?? Was my 1st visit here but will NOT be my last! I am known as OG & I am an 'older lady' (66 going on 26) who loves, Loves, LOVES shooting pool & dancing to the music!! I felt accepted & loved immediately!! I'm in heaven right now with the good music, playing pool with Tanner & Brooke & having a GREAT TIME!!!! No judging here. You are our people when you walk thru the door!! Sheet can get a little crazy as the day's end approaches & as the booze rolls on but WTF, love it or leave it! “I visited yesterday (3/5/2026) for the first time after The Happy Armadillo was recommended by someone I meet at No Frills in Burleson. Lo and behold, she was actually there during my visit, which made my visit all the more eventful and enjoyable.
There weren't that many people, because it was about lunch time, but I absolutely love this place. It's a small, quaint, and the people are amazingly friendly. It encompasses everything I imagine when picturing a neighborhood bar.
I'm so glad the bartender (Gretchen) said they served Banquet. Otherwise, I wouldn't have gone. I wish they had it on tap, but the bottles did the job 😁

“I went there last year and felt very comfortable. I like to dress in some fem when hanging out at the bars. Some places are not accepting but Liberty was so nice. Even one of ladies at the bar, complimented me. I will be returning.“
