“The coolest dive in Arlington by far! This is a regulars bar with great bartenders and friendly customers. You can come solo and find plenty of people to chat with. They don't serve food, but you can bring your own food in/doordash there if you want. There's a cool smoking patio as well. There are always events going on (mariokart tournaments, musical bingo, movie nights, trivia, crafts, etc.) and they have an excellent local band a couple nights a week. Drinks are cheap too.“

I came in a complete stranger, and left with a few friends. I really enjoyed the Thursday and Monday night Open jams. Pork chop is a killer harmonica player, and Garret the Bartender is groovy on the bass. Sweet is an artist on the drums.

They took good care of me, and they'll treat you well too“

“Just left and will never go back. Ordered a burger and didn’t realize until I had eaten several bites that a large portion in the middle was totally raw. Not just undercooked a little - totally raw. I chose to not send it back as I had consumed some of it but saved it to show the waitress. When she told the manager, the manager blamed her ( the waitress). I then spoke to the manager and she would not listen and kept insisting it was the waitress who was responsible. She talked right over me, and was downright nasty.She admitted she didn’t bother to look at the burger. No customer service skills whatsoever. I was not asking for anything just explaining it was not the waitress’ fault that the kitchen didn’t cook the burger. The waitress was very concerned and apologized. She did an excellent job of customer service.“

“Mexican Inn is one of my to go to places for Mexican dining. From the moment they place the delicious chips on the table(my favorite is the strips that puff up because when I dip them in the hot sauce I actually get a bite of sauce) till I get my food, it is a very enjoyable experience. The food is fabulous and enough of it that I never quite eat all of it. The staff goes to great lengths to ensure that our comfort and safety because my husband who is almost 84 has mobility issues and until recently used a cane. He had a bad fall and now uses a walker to aid his stability. The first place we will when he starts getting out is Mexican Inn! Bettie Wylie“

“I went to Sunshine with my best friend one night because we were trying to explore Arlington at the time.. Long story short… i have rarely went to any other bars since that day. Every bartender has become a close friend and every customer is different. I literally have taken my grandmother here twice and she loves it. There is every type of crowd and a wide range of ages/music nightly.. cheap enough drinks that are served by bartenders who actually care. Shoutout Kate..Val.. “I visited yesterday (3/5/2026) for the first time after The Happy Armadillo was recommended by someone I meet at No Frills in Burleson. Lo and behold, she was actually there during my visit, which made my visit all the more eventful and enjoyable.
There weren't that many people, because it was about lunch time, but I absolutely love this place. It's a small, quaint, and the people are amazingly friendly. It encompasses everything I imagine when picturing a neighborhood bar.
I'm so glad the bartender (Gretchen) said they served Banquet. Otherwise, I wouldn't have gone. I wish they had it on tap, but the bottles did the job 😁
