“While I always recommend Kat’s Bbq to everyone I will say I hope the new owners start recognizing the flavor of the brisket is not what it was. It’s still super good but I worry it’s gonna keep slipping. Love that new things are being added. I’ve really enjoyed the pork belly burnt ends. The guy that works the counter though needs to stop trying to be like Andy. He’s coming off very rude at times. I had to stop my husband from us walking out because he asked what happened to the root beer and the guy was pretty crappy about it. A simple we had to get rid of it because it just wasn’t working out for us would’ve been fine but instead we got an attitude.“

“We really, really enjoyed Leon's cut of brisket! Very, very tender with light seasoning. I tend to shy away from sauce, but his family recipe of sauce has a really interesting spice that came on very lightly that was so very interesting. Very unique, and it was something that, had not our wonderful server suggested that I try it, I would have missed a real gem. Something very special! Ribs were so excellent. A gentle pull with your lips will pull the meat off the bone. Sausage was such a good, smooth flavor. Cole slaw was neither sour or sweet; more creamy which made it delicious. I thought the prices were quite inexpensive. Which I'm certain it is a great value to the community so folks can have a nice, hearty meal at a great price. Hoping we left a good tip with our server so they can keep up the great work!“

“Me and my wife absolutely love the baked potato and the brisket they have everything about this place is awesome from the service to the food! We probably eat here once a week ever since we found out how good the food and services must try!!“

“Me and the guys at work been eyeing this place and as soon as we pulled up the owner was about to close, when I asked unc if he was closing he said if I was hungry I was like he’ll yeaaa he was kind enough to open up for us so thank you Mr.Wrice but above that the food was amazing best brisket I had in Texas I we highly recommended will be coming back again“

“Reasonably priced, diner food with some Tex-mex on the menu. It’s nice for something local. Pecan Banana pancakes had a nice hint of cinnamon but probably could have added bananas on top, same for the blueberry. Rico’s club sandwich was ok, but missing that middle piece of bread for a true club. Friendly staff!“
