“Little gem in Castorville, if you want real authentic mexican food, skip the big restaurants and come to this beautiful little piece of Mexico 🇲🇽. We had the barbacoa, the mini tacos of asada and lengua and lengua ranchers and the combo plate, everything was delicious. The service is fantastic, the waitresses are super friendly.

“I ALMOST SUFFOCATED EATING THEIR POZOLE!!!! I almost swallowed a Heineken beer bottle cap. I spoke to the business owner Oscar, whom admitted they add beer to their pozole. But he said that they have insurance and that I could do whatever I wanted. In another words he didn't care that I couldn't have died. A bottle cap can tear up your intestinal track. The picture shows the bottle cap that I pulled out of my mouth before swallowing it. Oscar, Insurance will not help if you die. HE TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS NEGLIGENCE!“

“Fri, 06May22 I'm here from. St. Louis, MO, I'm here visiting my Mom for Mother's Day. We were out shopping and it was late. I didn't want my Mom to go home and cook. So "we" stopped at "Taqueria Arandas" , and ordered an Enchilada Plate, and 2 Lengua Plates. IT WAS ALL VERY D-E-L-I-C-I-O-US!!!!!!!!!! “Food was delicious. Service was slow. Servers are not attentive to customers. I ordered two Barbacoa tacos and it took 20 minutes to get them. When they came they were on flour tortillas but I ordered them on corn. I didn’t get silverware or napkins. I’d go back for round two and give them a second chance to prove they are better than the service I received.“

“Delicious! A great find down a won’t road and worth the drive! I am in love with their carne asada burrito! I have gone to every other Mexican restaurant here in San Antonio just to try the asada burritos and no one, nothing compares so far! I drive 15 minutes just to go get a treat, this special burrito from this taco truck. I hope they stay open forever and don’t change a thing about their recipes! The meat is seasoned so well and everything, even just the quesadilla is so tasty! This last time I tried the carne asada Sinceonzada (pictured. No burrito pic because I quickly inhaled it) which is like a flat 2 tortilla quesadilla topped with crema, lettuce tomato and avocado, (a plenty good amount of avocado!) and I realized I had to do a review! This place really has a special place in my heart, kudos to the chef, it has good prices too and a yummy creamy green salsa as well!“

“I ordered the birria tacos and they were very delicious. The outside shell was very crispy and the taste overall was good. The consome was good but could have had more flavor added. The price I thought was a little high for 3 tacos but I'm sure over time that will change. Overall, I recommend this place for sure.“

“The management and servers at this Las Palapas location on Potranco are excellent. My girlfriend and I are regular customers, and every visit feels like being with family. The atmosphere is welcoming, the food is always on point, and it’s one of our favorite places for drinks as well. Highly recommended!“

“I knew this would be a great place to take some friends who had never been to Texas before and wanted to experience non-chain Tex-Mex. The neighborhood, building, decor, staff and quality of food was perfect. However, the mirachi band is too much. Way too loud. It doesn't need to be so loud. It was if the horns had to prove they could play loudly. I get it, when a mirachi band is playing you don't have conversation, but wow, it doesn't have to be so overwhelming. We will go back. Great place!“
