“This place is AMAZING!!!!!! One of the best sushi places without the high prices! You have to try the Salmon Gravlax! If I have to choose one dish for the rest of my life, this will be the one! And the spicy edamame is one of the best in the DFW area! Try the sampler crudo, and you'll be set!

“The variety of food on the all-you-can-eat menu is great, and our waiter Nathan was incredible. He was on top of everything, and when my daughter said she loved the robot (the machine that brings food to your table) he brought it back out just for her. Definitely a new go-to for us.“

“If you're looking for a sushi experience that goes beyond the traditional, this cozy little gem is an absolute must-visit. Tucked away in a quiet corner, this sushi spot offers not only top-notch sushi but also some truly unique dishes that elevate the dining experience. The atmosphere is intimate and inviting, with warm lighting and an open kitchen that lets you watch the chefs work their magic.
The Foie Gras Nigiri is a standout—rich, buttery, and perfectly seared, it pairs surprisingly well with the delicate flavors of the sushi rice and fish. It's an indulgent twist on the classic sushi experience that truly highlights the restaurant's inventive approach. For something truly decadent, the Foie Gras Sushi Roll is a must-try. The combination of tender foie gras, fresh fish, and just the right amount of seasoning creates a dish that's both comforting and sophisticated.“

“Our new go to sushi spot for sure! Everything was super fresh, great attentive service, and the attention to gluten free options was a nice added bonus. Incredible presentation on the sashimi platter and on all the rolls too. We will be seeing you again very soon!“

“Our first visit to Kinzo was spectacular! They were so helpful with ordering suggestions. We had rainbow trout, tuna, salmon, unagi and more…. Everything we tried was so fantastic! Service was prompt, attentive and friendly! Highly recommend 🍣“

“Visited this place last Saturday. The food was absolutely amazing however, we didn't try many of the rolls due to lack of pictures of them & uncertainty about if we'd like them based off just a list of ingredients. Additionally, we found it strange to have the waitstaff lined up against the sushi bar just staring at us as we ate. It was kinda unnerving. The hibachi was some of the best I'd ever had. Definitely a fair price for the quality of food.“

“Recently ordered steak bento box.
Beef was tender and seasoned well.
California rolls were satisfying and hit the spot.
Gyoza had fresh fried flavor & the texture of the dumpling was perfect. Satisfying.
Egg roll was good.
Service was great.
On previous experiences their sushi was also freshly made and really good. Wished I ordered it this time.
Only minor complaint is that their Wasabi is a bit weak. I prefer stronger Wasabi that burns ?
Other than that, this is one of my top places to go when I decide to eat out.“

“Visited with a large group—and were easily accommodated. Warm and inviting dining area. Waitstaff was friendly, and efficient.
We ordered several rounds of small plates.
Gyoza—this was the best gyoza I’ve ever had. Thin and crispy, with pillowy, well seasoned chicken/pork mixture. We started with one portion and ordered two more. I should have had them for an entree too.
Karaage—very juicy, well seasoned. We also had the spicier chicken, and dipped the Karaage in the sauce—very good.
Spicy Tonkatsu—no spicy. Very light broth. Pork was so juicy and addicting. Eggs cooked well. Noodles a very good texture and mouth feel.
Husband had ramen in San Fran, and wanted it back home so we’re happy to find this place. Will return for the gyoza, but husband mentioned the ramen he had in SF was better, more flavorful, and he prefers a thicker noodle.
Bathrooms here were atrocious. The walls were filthy.“

“We have not been here in several years and I have no idea why. The three of us ordered hot tea, spicy edamame, gyoza. The rolls are huge and incredible. The killer roll was our favorite but the Hawaii, Panic roll and golden Cali were amazing. Service from Ngun was excellent and we spoke with Kim the owner 2 or 3 times as she worked the room. Clearly this is why 23 years success in the food business.“

“The sushi was ok. The fish was fresh. Just nothing amazed me. We also got shrimp tempura Udon. The udon itself was good but I can only taste pepper in the soup. Some of the carrots in the soup were tasty and tender and others were hard as raw ones. The sweet potato tempura were half tender and half hard(the middle). The service was good though.“

“Everything we ate was fresh and delicious! My order was promptly taken and we sat down with our drinks. The interior is super clean and the ambience is calm. The value for the money spent is unmatched, the portion was perfect for me as well. The chicken teriyaki was juicy and flavorful with a hint of char-grilled goodness. The macaroni was fresh and light and the cabbage salad was wonderfully crunchy and a nice contrast in texture. My only regret is not ordering more food for takeout. TLDR: Get you some teriyaki and be happy! 5 star experience.“

“Our family of four stopped in for dinner last night to try out our new neighborhood spot and it was so good! The inside is nicely decorated and they have tables and floor tables for dining. The kids got a big kick out of sitting on floor pillows for dinner. The menu is extensive with Korean and Japanese items — including hibachi and sushi! Everything is reasonably priced and is meant to be a fast casual dine-in or takeout spot. So Carrollton folks — if you find yourself going to Sushi Kadan or another neighborhood joint — try this one out too! We have another spot for a tasty and healthy dinner. Kid friendly too! Support local!“

“This is my favorite spot in Denton whenever I’m craving a poke bowl! Their Build Your Own Poke Bowl is my go-to – I usually go with ahi tuna and sometimes add spicy tuna or tempura shrimp as a second protein, then load up on all the fresh toppings. Their combination fried rice is also a solid pick if you’re looking for something extra filling.
Everything’s always fresh, and you can add tons of toppings (avocado and cream cheese cost extra, but most toppings are included). My favorite sauce mix is the spicy mayo and ponzu. Plus, they always throw a little treat in the to-go bag, like Starburst, which I think is a great touch.
During Lent, especially on Fridays, it can get pretty packed, but most of the year it’s a nice, quiet spot for lunch. Parking at lunchtime can be a bit tricky, though – I’ve sometimes had to park by McAlister's or the Armed Forces Career Center and walk over, or drive around until a spot opens up. I usually order online, and while I wish they had an app to make it even easier, their service is impressively fast. I can place an order when I leave work, and by the time I get there – about 10 minutes later – it’s ready to go.“

“Kid-friendliness: The owners were so kind! Our kids had never had sushi before and the owners let them watch as they made the sushi. Our son LOVED the pork dumplings. He said “these should be on the news!” 🤣
Our daughter ate a whole bowl of the edamame.
Everything was delicious“

“If there’s one constant in life, it’s that Sushi Box will never let your taste buds down. This is not just a sushi spot; it’s a haven where flavor, freshness, and finesse collide in a glorious symphony of umami. Every visit feels like reuniting with an old friend who knows exactly how you like your salmon—melt-in-your-mouth tender, perched on perfectly seasoned rice.
The rolls? Let’s talk about those for a second. Each one is like a tiny masterpiece, assembled with such precision you almost feel bad eating it (almost). The Scorpion Roll? A spicy, crispy, creamy explosion in every bite. The King Dragon Roll? A delicate dance of eel, avocado, and sweet sauce that will leave you questioning why all meals can’t be this good.
And consistency? Sushi Box is the Einstein of consistency—it’s like they’ve cracked the code for serving perfection every. single. time. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, you know you’re getting fish so fresh it might as well have swum onto your plate.
Even the miso soup is next-level comfort, a warm hug in a bowl. Sushi Box doesn’t just serve sushi; they serve happiness, one roll at a time. If you haven’t tried it, what are you waiting for? Go. Now.“

“This is our favorite sushi restaurant. One of the reasons we I love this restaurant is because they make you feel like your family, the service is great and the food is excellent. We hadn't been there for a couple of months. As soon as we walked in, Mamasan came over and asked us if we were all right. That she hadn't seen us for a while. There are not many restaurants that you enter that the owner or the manager acknowledges you and make sure you're in good health.“

“Highly recommend Sushi Damu in Flower Mound if you are looking for good quality AYCE sushi. Their raw stuffs are so fresh specially squid. I’ve tried squid sushi from many places, but squid here is better as it’s fresh, tasty, and not dry. Sushi rice has good quality too. It’s well-cooked, soft, not dry like other AYCE sushi. Plus rice portion is small. Their sushi rolls are tasty. I would recommend house salad, Ikura, scallop and seared salmon sushi as well as low-carb and spider roll.“

“Not sure how, but FloMo has plenty of good sushi places… Edohana is far & away the best. The quality of the sushi is as good or better than I’ve had in California. The servers are helpful, and the owner, Kimmy, is always there and she knows how to take care of her customers. Generous wine pours, excellent sushi, and a terrific selection of rolls and non-sushi meals too.“

“For the price, it was a good value. Got the special hibachi for 4. It took a little while to get the cooking going as they were waiting for a couple more people to come in. The soup/broth was decent but miso would have been nicer, and the dressing in the salad was different than I'm used to - not as much ginger and more sweet. Overall, a good value.“

“I've had mixed opinions on W&W over the past several years. The food is pretty good - not amazing, but a good value. Particularly if you get any of their specials, like Buy 2 get 1 on Sun-Thu, or the lunch special with a couple Maki rolls and soup for about $10.
Today, though, I tried the Chirashi for the first time. Perfectly cooked rice with a ton of fresh fish on top. A wide variety, too. I will be back often specifically for this.
The wide menu options, covering both Japanese and Chinese food (not to mention Pad Thai) ensures everyone will find something to make them happy.“

“Went for the first time for my birthday with my family. The food was so good! The chef at the hibachi was very funny and interactive. The other staff were friendly and everyone seemed happy to be there. We called to make a reservation so we would be guaranteed the hibachi experience. They also have a table dine in area that is very nice looking and next time we come we are going to sit there. Their prices are around what you would expect for hibachi and good sushi. We had a great time! We will be going back 100%!!!“
