Food:
I’m fairly new to the area and I was in search of a good sushi place and Nori Sushi did not disappoint. The selection and prices are amazing. Today I ordered a chicken katsu bento box and the vegetable fried rice in order to try a variety of food. The katsu was amazing and so were the California rolls. I did also enjoy the cabbage slaw and salad but personally I’m not a fan of too much dressing or slaw but they were still enjoyable.
Customer Service:
When I walked in I was initially greeted and able to sit wherever I wanted. I also receive excellent service throughout the duration of my meal.
Atmosphere:
The atmosphere visually is good and the place has a nice vibe. They chose very nice decor and made great use of the space here. I greatly appreciate that. Also from what I’ve noticed the place seems to be a “mom and pop” kind of place and I also appreciate this too as I like to spend my money with the local businesses rather than large corporations.

“The variety of food on the all-you-can-eat menu is great, and our waiter Nathan was incredible. He was on top of everything, and when my daughter said she loved the robot (the machine that brings food to your table) he brought it back out just for her. Definitely a new go-to for us.“

And I was NOT disappointed.
The service was excellent, the decor was cozy, and the food was divine. The miso soup was perfectly done, not too salty, not too bland, but nice and hearty. The chirashi bento was amazing. Instead of the usual meh salads they give you squid and seaweed salad which were delicious. The half tuna rolls were more tuna than rice and were fresh and delicious. And the chirashi was just heavenly. Each piece of sashimi was topped with its own seasoning to really bring out the flavor of the fish, complimented by the high quality rice and salmon roe underneath. I was so satisfied by the food I ordered dessert and got to taste the amazing tempura cheesecake. Though pricey, it was worth said price. I left the place full and happy and will be back. 10/10“

“The person who served us was extremely kind and personable. He made sure we ate raw fish once we ordered the Carrollton roll.

The roll itself was a classic strip mall roll. The fish wasn't smelly. All aspects paired well together.

“My family of 5 have been ordering from here for years. This is a restaurant where all 3 of my picky children can find something and not complain. My teen loves all their sushi and tries something new every time we go. My 8 year old son gets the salmon and has proclaimed it’s “the best salmon ever” every time. You get 2 fillets which is a huge portion! He even picked it for his family birthday dinner. I love their shaken fillet and chicken which is basically the hibachi. The portions are giant! My husband randomly DoorDash’s their chicken friend rice he likes it so much. It is pricey but well worth it for the amount of food. The atmosphere is really nice and would be a great place for a date night or to take work clients. The owners are wonderful! Highly recommended giving it a try!“

“Our family of four stopped in for dinner last night to try out our new neighborhood spot and it was so good! The inside is nicely decorated and they have tables and floor tables for dining. The kids got a big kick out of sitting on floor pillows for dinner. The menu is extensive with Korean and Japanese items — including hibachi and sushi! Everything is reasonably priced and is meant to be a fast casual dine-in or takeout spot. So Carrollton folks — if you find yourself going to Sushi Kadan or another neighborhood joint — try this one out too! We have another spot for a tasty and healthy dinner. Kid friendly too! I ordered the salmon ahi tower and a dragon roll and was shocked at the size of the portions - definitely a pleasant surprise! “This is a great little sushi place. We've ordered from several places in the local area and definitely like this one the best. We've eaten here 4 or 5 times and are never disappointed.
