“I love this spot! It's very cozy, has delicious food, extremely great staff, and a charming space. Locals will love this romantic spot, great for a date. I was able to try some an imported beer, which I enjoyed a lot. I always see them on Japan travel videos and was excited I could give it a try, it was good! I hope this spot stays open forever, I love their food. You can order take out from here, and it's always good. Don't forget to have miso! :) and say hi to the fish in the fish tank for me 🐟 🐠“

“This restaurant has amazing food. Every time we’ve been we’ve enjoyed our meal. My daughter loves sushi so we go occasionally. My favorite is an off menu roll called Monica Vegas. Their cold Lychee sake is to die for.“

“I’ve only ever placed online orders from this place and the sushi has been amazing every time. This last time that i had placed my online regular order it was not ready on time, so i sat and waited with no issue. The management realized that the order was taking longer than expected and offered me a free complimentary drink on the house! Can you believe that? in 2025 there is still some common courtesy and respect.
I will always order from this place and hopefully in the near future come in and sit for a meal with my wife! Best place in Cedar park/Leander area!

“Very good bento box! I had the beef bulgogi and kiddo had the chicken teriyaki. Everything tastes fresh and well prepared. It was a good value with 2 pieces of nigiri in addition to the typical Cali roll, tempura veggies, soup, salad, rice, veggies, and gyoza. We will be back!“

“10/10 people, 10/10 food, 10/10 fortune cookie, 10/10 day because I went here with family. Let me put you on something- poke bowl- double spicy tuna, crab salad, cabbage, sweet corn, seaweed salad, crunchy onions, and to top it all of some spicy mayo and umami. 😩🙌“

“My experience at Umiya Restaurant was truly something special. It felt like I had been transported to a cozy mom-and-pop shop somewhere in Japan or Korea. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the people were kind and inviting, and every bite of food was absolutely exquisite and as my true self I brought my ukulele to pratice and the staff and guess enjoyed the music and i love playing.“

“My wife and I came in for a date night. Huge fan of Chinese food and this restaurant exceed our expectations! We got an appetizer to start (not sure if I'm spelling or correctly) the pupu platter. It was HUGE! Everything was ate for the appetizer was on point. Our main dishes were just as amazing. Our server was very sweet. My wife and I will definitely be back again. Keep on keepin'on!“

“Fresh sushi, good service, classy atmosphere.
The two person tables are a bit too close together and can feel intrusive if someone has an intimate date. That's my main complaint and prevented this from being a 5 star experience (for the price point).“

“Underrated sushi spot. Their fish quality is so good, and they give out thick pieces of fishes as well. This is our second time to Daichi and it surely isn’t our last. I would say to skip appetizers and ger their rolls/sashimis/nigiris bc they are surely worth your money. Nice folks so it feels good to be supporting them“
