“Last night, I went to Carriqui with a party of two. We ordered Tuna Tostadas, Guacamole, Chicken Tortilla Soup, Birria, Flan, Tres Leches, and Margaritas.

Tuna Tostadas – Lights out! Sprinkle some lemon on top, take a bite, and it’s just sooo good. The flavors are perfectly balanced. Easily a must-order.
Birria – As someone who loves heavily seasoned food, I didn’t get a strong flavor kick from it, but the lamb was cooked beautifully. I’m glad I tried it!
Tres Leches – The star of the night. Hands down the best Tres Leches I’ve ever had. I’ve only tasted this dessert in Charlotte, NC before, but this one? Perfect. I devoured the whole thing.
Guacamole – So fresh, great texture.
Flan – Good, but Tres Leches stole the show. (I’m also not a huge caramel fan, so I’m a little biased.)
Chicken Tortilla Soup – This one didn’t do it for me.
Margaritas – I really enjoyed these, they are so refreshing.

Beyond the food, the ambiance was amazing. We sat outside, and everything—the music, weather, lighting—was chef’s kiss.

Would definitely come back, especially for the Tuna Tostadas, Tres Leches, and Margaritas!“

“Every one was very kind and professional, Shannon was our waiter and she was phenomenal! The food was great; I did have an issue with finding hair in my broccoli (side dish); which is very unfortunate. The culinary manager came and apologized and made sure they replaced my dish. My server Shannon was also very kind about the mishap. The food was really delicious (besides the hair), the crab legs were really tasty!“

“This was my first visit to Bounon Street Seafood, but it won't be my last. Alex provided superb service from the beginning to the end of our dining experience. I chose the Salmon Plank with Dirty Rice. The salmon was cooked to perfection & seasoned well. The dirty rice was a different but much-appreciated side for the salmon & the little kick of spicy Cajun seasoning at the end of each bite was a surprise that I will go back to experience with another Bourbon Street entrée. We had a very pleasant experience on this wet, rainy, & cold Feb Sat afternoon. Thank you!“

“Food was so good!! We ordered through favor and we are so impressed not trying to say we are good critics but we are super picky. This met and exceeded our expectations. Crab meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The only gumbo I’ve ever had better was at NOLA and it was 25$ for a bowl. Here it’s 5$ and out of this world!!! “For quick seafood, it's convenient, consistent, and a good value. Staff are always helpful and pleasant. The fried cod is my favorite but, weirdly, I think they have the best chicken fingers in town. Light, crispy crust and chicken that is tender and juicy. The gravy is a bit bland but it's easy to stir in a bit of salt and pepper. Probably not very healthy, but for $22 you get 10 chicken fingers, garlic bread, a side, and gravy. I add a bag salad and it's a cheap meal for a family of five.“

“Hubby and I love this place! Portions are large and foods always yummy! I usually get the large egg foo yung or combination fried rice. They pack the rice containers full!!!! Not a lot of room inside but great for a quick delicious lunch or take out!“
