“High end Mexican food with their own take on classic dishes. The food itself is high quality ingredients such as the wagyu fajitas (pictured) with your choice of flour or corn tortillas. We also had the fried fish tacos which were delicious. One nice surprise was the corn cakes. It was similar to a very moist cornbread cupcake with herb butter. Already looking forward to having these again. We were seating in the second building which is decorated very nice, but as it filled up it has terrible acoustics, so you have to shout at each other to speak. There is also a nice patio and bar outside that wasn’t being used during our weekday lunch visit. The staff was professional and attentive and made a positive experience. Highly recommend and will definitely go back when we want a unique twist on traditional Mexican food.“

“Wow wow wow … couldn’t wait to eat … catfish and shrimp special was amazing… The GUMBO was very flavorful and spicy.. My husband had the pork chops with gumbo and boudin he had the biggest smile on his face… 5 stars for food and service.. my new go to place for seafood … we took a lb of crab legs home didn’t even make in the house ….old bay and garlic with butter sauce AMAZING!!!“

“It was busy because it was Father's Day and there was no Wi-fi in the building or parking lot. I wanted to place a to-go order and it took a tad bit long amd the young lady at the window said when we were ready to let someone know she walked off and we never saw her again. I was ready to leave and not return.So we asked for assistance and Juran S. was right there and took care of our order and took my number down in case we weren't in the building to get the order she would call. She was very nice and attentive I appreciate her for that. It's great workers like her that makes you want to return.“

“Choose to come here due to having a very large group and we didn’t want to wait during lunch hour. We were able to be seated with no wait time. In fact, it was like we had the whole restaurant pretty much to ourselves, minus two couples. To be exactly went Tuesday afternoon around 1:30pm. Food was in comparison to Pappadeaux‘s, still really tasty. We even had a few people who didn’t like seafood and still were able to find something on the menu. Our server was awesome. And handled it like a champ, and it was plenty of us. I would definitely go here during a date night. Our drinks could have been a bit stronger considering we ordered ranch water.“

We were helped by a friendly crew who kept things running smoothly even though it was pretty busy. As soon as we walk in, Keon at the front counter was so helpful and friendly. His high energy and spirit, not only toward the customers, but to the other workers made our day
One of our orders was missing something and without our asking, Edison immediately noticed the issue and went out of his way delivering food to effectively assist us. And when there were bigger problems, the workers would always work together to solve them quickly with a good attitude, just really solid service with unmatched efficiency and quality. You could tell those workers enjoyed working together.
Definitely coming back soon. Solid food, decent prices, and a team that actually cares. I have nothing negative to say about this place 10/10!“

Crab meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The only gumbo I’ve ever had better was at NOLA and it was 25$ for a bowl. Here it’s 5$ and out of this world!!! “Don't judge a book by it's cover certainly holds true to La Playa! I was craving some fish and chips and Google led me here. Initially I was sceptical, but I'm glad made to decision to stay. The food was AMAZING and the service was very fast. The portions were huge with the fish having a thin, delicious batter. If you like malt vinegar, you better bring your own but the tarter was very fresh.

“I love the variety on the menu, traditional americanized Chinese dishes. The food is always piping hot. My favorite dish is the teriyaki chicken. You can spend anywhere from $30 to $60 bucks here and it's always worth it you'll have something left over I mess with feeding a good size group which is adequate. Very quick & polite.“

On top of that, they have a great selection of S. Korean alcohol like soju and many versions of that one. The food was well prepared and the ingredients fresh. “We were at the Rim location just now. We sat in the bar area and immediately left. The floor had chips, old french fries on the floor and under the table. I had even said something about the floor needed sweeping as the hostess sat us. She didnt even bother to come back to address that. We got up and left. If the staff is like that with upkeep upfront, I did not want to know how they maintain their kitchen. I can understand if they were very busy and did not have time but there was a couple of people in the bar area. They could have addressed that. Very dissappointed.“

We were so busy with our own business that we ate there several times a week, the food was so good and very reasonably priced.
