“So I have to give an honest review of my brunch experience Saturday, June 6, 2026. We mainly went and I’m not sure if this episode was a rerun or if it was new but we saw the episode of Goodtaste with Tanji that was on channel 2 that morning. Husband ordered fish tacos and I ordered a burger. Fish tacos were good and the onion rings were all good. My burger was a little dry and the service was good. But my biggest disappointment was the Bloody Mary. I saw that they had a build your own Bloody Mary option on their brunch menu but according to the waitress it’s only available on Sundays so I did not get that so I just ordered a bloody Mary. I did tell the waitress to not put celery in it since I’m not a celery person and it would just go to waste. So she brought me my Bloody Mary and all it contained was two of the poorest, looking olives that I have ever seen. I think they were even smaller than the ones that you buy at the grocery store in the jars. The waitress did notice my expression on my face when she gave it to me and she asked me what was wrong. I asked, was this all that they give with the bloody Mary? I wasn’t looking for a meal, but I’d like to squeeze a little lemon and lime in my bloody Mary . she said let me see what I can get for you. And I wish I would’ve taken a picture of this, but she brought me back a plate that had two pieces of bacon, some spicy sauce (not sure what I was supposed to do with that) and another little cup that had some sliced pickled onions (husband put those on his fish tacos) and two stalks of green onion that look like they had been sitting In pickling juice at the bottom of the jar. I will say the bloody Mary itself had great taste, great flavor, but the presentation was horrible and I’m writing this review and hoping that they see this and they step up their game.“

“Gordon Street has very good food, it’s surprisingly good and cheap. We live in Downtown Houston where everything is super expensive and usually not great. Gordon streets food is always better and always 1/2 the price. When we want to unwind and sit in the peace and quiet this is one of our favorites.“

Since they were teenagers they drank Cherry Dr Pepper and they said Dairyland has 1 of the best! We moved to Alvin in 1977. Me, my wife and our two grandsons decided to go to Slim Chickens after church yesterday & from the beginning the service, as usual, was better than most other fast food establishments. However we took a long time ordering due to my wife is recovering from a mild stroke and one of my gsons is on the autism spectrum. The manager, “Sergio”, without hesitation assisted the cashier helping us with my coupon and military discount, making the process easy peasy.
My wife got the grilled chicken salad. The boys and I shared the Family 12strips+ 6 bone-in wings+8toasts+10sauces w/ fries + macaroni and cheese as the sides. It was cheaper to get the Gallon of sweet tea and we brought half of that home. The boys almost fell asleep in the booth. My entire crew fell in love with your Cayenne Ranch sauce, except for me I’m not a Ranch guy. I did turn them on to the Sweet Chili though. My only regret, is that I didn’t do a trial run (taste testing) with the sauces, before bringing ALL to the table. We brought home about 6 of the Ranch, whereas now they prefer the Cayenne Ranch & Sweet Chili sauces
Sergio must have come to our table at least 4 times after our food had arrived. He absolutely would not let me get up for anything! I salute Sergio and the staff at this location. I only wish that you were a little closer to home, selfishly, so that I come more often.

“Red Robin has a good selection of different type of burgers and they do have great fries. The staff is very hospitable and friendly, the only con to me is their prices. Kinda sorta high when you're on a fixed income but still good.“

The main food thing here is fried chicken and french fries which are good, I go for the chicken tenders which are always served fresh. There are other options like fried rice, mashed potatoes, and lemon cake. At one point they sold a chicken tender/shrimp salad, I loved the chicken tender salad. The prices are fair so if you want a good value for your money try this place, you will find something to like. And also they got 1 of the best Kool Aids, OH YEAH!“

Food was rather prompt but the fish portions were long and skinny. Hush puppies were nice and hot as were the fries.
