“Pretty inside, absolutely packed tonight because the rest of the Restraunts in Marfa were closed Jan 2nd. No hostess. We waited 5 or 10 minutes in line and finally left.”

“I loved every single detail about this restaurant. The energy is amazing, and the employees are so polite and empathetic. The food is absolutely delicious.
I would give it an 11 out of 10!
The burritos, in particular, were packed with flavor, generous portions, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every bite was perfectly seasoned, with a great balance of textures. Honestly, one of the best burritos I’ve ever had!
To top it all off, I had the honor of meeting Miss Ramona, and she and her family were the most welcoming people ever. They treated every Guapo and Guapa in such a warm and friendly way.
Thank you!”
“Morning they sell coffee, bitter and straight-like Marfa itself. Afternoon it's gone. Then velvet lights. Ground beef ragu waits in a shallow bowl, steaming but not loud, sauce thick enough to sin with. Merlot arrives in a glass, no ceremony, tastes of dust and forgiveness. Menu? Changes before you finish chewing. Three nights a week only. And if you look up-real good-stars punch holes through the roof. You won't forget them. Or that mousse, black as the void, sweet as a lie you want. Five stars. Highly recommend.”

“LaVenture in Marfa completely blew me away. The vibe is beautiful, the service was thoughtful, and the food—especially the pasta (and the pizza!!)—is a must.
It tasted like it came straight out of an Italian kitchen. So fresh, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with care. You can tell they’re doing things right back there. If you’re in Marfa, do not skip stopping or staying at LaVenture / hotel Saint George—it’s worth the trip alone.”

“Fantastic food. Had chili relleno, rice and refried beans. Quantity and quality was everything one could wish for. Angel and ML her husband were fantastic hosts. If you are anywhere near Marfa, Texas, you must stop and eat at Angel's.”

“Great place. Friendly people and free roasted peanuts. Funky and cool.”
“My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this place during our stay in Marfa. We went back twice, and their chicken fajita quesadilla, elote, and breakfast burritos were all so satisfying & delicious. The salsas that accompanied the dishes were the superstars of the experience—beautifully enhancing the flavors of each meal.”
“The place is good for chilling out not for food and drinks. It's like the old saloons which you see in the movies. There is a long wait for food. They have some local beers to choose from. The food was okay-ish. But it took almost like forever for the food to come.
If you are staying near Marfa then there are very few options of food late at night and this places falls in that list of few places.
Vegetarian options: Not much vegetarian dishes.”

“Good place to hang out and watch sports. We watched an entire football game at the bar. Beware they can't turn the sound up on the game.
The bartenders were all friendly. Josh was great. Naya was very helpful too.
The food here is really pretty good. We ate there multiple times and enjoyed everything we got.”
“We found Big Bend Coffee Roasters when we were in the area for spring break in 2020, and we’ve been ordering it ever since. Cattleman’s Cup is our favorite, but we’ve tried others and they’re all great! Love our BBCR!”

“Best iced lattes ever!! The owners are amazing people and my caffeine curator was awesome and friendly as per the usual. I’ve never left there unsatisfied. 10/10 would definitely recommend ❤️☕️🧋🍰🍪”
“I had received a bag of the Brasilian roast! It arrived to the middle of rural American in 2 days. The beans were perfect! The aroma was heavenly through the shipping box. We ground the beans for an Italian espresso machine and brewed this roast. Hints of cherries and toffee. So smooth and extremely drinkable. The only problem was that it was so so good, that we drank through the bag in less than 2 days. Highly recommend buying coffee from here, as you will not be disappointed!”

“This is the best food I had in Marfa! I had the Bettina sandwich with prosciutto, and it is simply divine. Don’t forget to finish things off with their prickly pear sorbet.
It’s also worth mentioning that the vibes are as immaculate as the food. I chatted with the baker Mikey, who was baking loaves of sandwich bread in the pizza oven adjacent to the patio, as we ate. Just like everyone we met in Marfa, he was super friendly, and we had a great conversation about bread making techniques.
This place is the best – check it out while you’re here! Makes for a great lunch spot.”
