“We went to eat dinner here and it was great. The dumplings were delicious and service was great. While not the cheapest option it was well worth the expense. I will say that the lobby when you walk in is dim to the point of too dark and it was a bit too quiet with spillover noise from the bar on the other side of the brick wall that doesn't extend to the ceiling.”

“Pretty inside, absolutely packed tonight because the rest of the Restraunts in Marfa were closed Jan 2nd. No hostess. We waited 5 or 10 minutes in line and finally left.”

“Best start of the day! Burritos are LARGE and completely stuffed which makes eating them on the go quite an adventure. We decided to enjoy them at the place which is filled with memorabilia. And a picture with Matthew McConaughey. Service is quick, simple and to the point. Just as we like it.”
“Came here both nights we visited Marfa! Once for drinks, but it smelled too good, we had to come back. The staff was very accommodating even though they were busy, so don’t be afraid to ask about a wait or ability to grab a drink. Can also put your names on the list and go walk around, if the wait is too long.
Thankfully it wasn’t the second night we walked in and we grabbed some food in addition to the great wine. We had 4 different wines (2 whites, orange and a rose) during our visits and would order them all again.
For food, the salad, mushroom toast, beans and then the bolognese paired perfectly with the wines. Especially the mushrooms toast! Yum! Can’t wait to be back next time in Marfa!”
“I had received a bag of the Brasilian roast! It arrived to the middle of rural American in 2 days. The beans were perfect! The aroma was heavenly through the shipping box. We ground the beans for an Italian espresso machine and brewed this roast. Hints of cherries and toffee. So smooth and extremely drinkable. The only problem was that it was so so good, that we drank through the bag in less than 2 days. Highly recommend buying coffee from here, as you will not be disappointed!”
“Blink and you may miss this quaint cafe... Mutual Friends' staff is indeed friendly. The team member was flying solo on a busy Sunday morning, and never lost her composure. She was kind, efficient, and pulled a fantastic espresso shot!
The biscuits and jam were in the classic Southern style, and the breakfast tacos were spot on and fresh. Snag the zucchini bread while you're there.
Highly recommend... cheers!”

“I get the feeling people are missing this place because it's not in a spot with natural foot traffic. But if you see this review, I promise you won't regret having lunch here. Probably the best torta I ever had. The bread was out of this world, as well as the steak and the sauces. 1000% recommended. Lovely lady running the place too.”

“Great place. Friendly people and free roasted peanuts. Funky and cool.”
“The place is good for chilling out not for food and drinks. It's like the old saloons which you see in the movies. There is a long wait for food. They have some local beers to choose from. The food was okay-ish. But it took almost like forever for the food to come.
If you are staying near Marfa then there are very few options of food late at night and this places falls in that list of few places.
Vegetarian options: Not much vegetarian dishes.”

“Stopped here for some food while driving to Big Band National Park. Awesome people and great customer services. The food was exceptionally delicious. Always love stopping by local restaurants.”
“We found Big Bend Coffee Roasters when we were in the area for spring break in 2020, and we’ve been ordering it ever since. Cattleman’s Cup is our favorite, but we’ve tried others and they’re all great! Love our BBCR!”

“The bartender with shaved head and beard, may be named Joshua, is the star of this place. Really nice guy, knowledgeable mixologist, clean, and just the best part of our experience. Much of the rest of the staff seem to need hygiene help.”

“Warning: If Kiarra is your server, make sure you check your bank statement against the receipt. My $115 charge after tip turned into a $118 charge on my card. I filled out both receipts, took a picture of them together, and left them on the table.
Yes, it's only three dollars, but changing the tip amount is immoral and wrong.”

“The food was good but the Spanish guy who took our order was on his phone and so rude he threw the number card at me and when he delivered our food he just slammed it down fast .”

“If you are in Marfa, you need to eat at Bordo. Full stop. Coming from two chefs on a road trip, this was one of our favorite stops.
Get the sandwiches. The house made bread alone is worth the visit, perfectly baked, flavorful, and the kind of foundation that makes every filling shine. We also loved the snacks, especially the olive plate, which felt thoughtful, balanced, and exactly what you want to graze on with a drink. Everything feels simple in the best way, high quality ingredients, done with care. Obsessed!!!!
The staff is warm and welcoming, the outdoor space is perfect for lingering, and the shop is stocked with awesome products you will want to take home. It is the kind of place that feels very Marfa, relaxed, creative, and quietly excellent. Easily a must eat while you are in town. Love it!”
