“Pretty inside, absolutely packed tonight because the rest of the Restraunts in Marfa were closed Jan 2nd. No hostess. We waited 5 or 10 minutes in line and finally left.”

“LaVenture in Marfa completely blew me away. The vibe is beautiful, the service was thoughtful, and the food—especially the pasta (and the pizza!!)—is a must.
It tasted like it came straight out of an Italian kitchen. So fresh, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with care. You can tell they’re doing things right back there. If you’re in Marfa, do not skip stopping or staying at LaVenture / hotel Saint George—it’s worth the trip alone.”

“Definitely the best, most reasonable spot in marfa. In a town of inflated prices this one holds true and makes it worth it. The burritos are big for the $9-$10. Very filling and full of flavor. They do offer corn tortillas for the tacos.”
“Excellent wine bar of extremely high quality in the small town but big vibe town of Marfa. Tucked away and genuinely real they serve some amazing wines you wouldn't think would be on a high level in this area”

“Small but don't let that fool ya! I got the smothered chicken burrito, Christmas style, with red and green sauces. Great taste. Loved the seasoned rice! Prices a little higher but larger portions so no complaints. Will definitely be back.”
“The place is good for chilling out not for food and drinks. It's like the old saloons which you see in the movies. There is a long wait for food. They have some local beers to choose from. The food was okay-ish. But it took almost like forever for the food to come.
If you are staying near Marfa then there are very few options of food late at night and this places falls in that list of few places.
Vegetarian options: Not much vegetarian dishes.”

“Went for some food and drinks. It's pretty good food! I had the pepperoni pizza with hot wings while ordering an old fashioned. My friends enjoyed their meals and drinks! Seating is typically first come first serve so can be an issue if it's crowded during festival times”
“My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this place during our stay in Marfa. We went back twice, and their chicken fajita quesadilla, elote, and breakfast burritos were all so satisfying & delicious. The salsas that accompanied the dishes were the superstars of the experience—beautifully enhancing the flavors of each meal.”

“We found Big Bend Coffee Roasters when we were in the area for spring break in 2020, and we’ve been ordering it ever since. Cattleman’s Cup is our favorite, but we’ve tried others and they’re all great! Love our BBCR!”

“We visited from Dallas for the weekend and WOW. This was truly the best coffee shop I’ve been to in a while! The Halloween cookie and pumpkin donut were stellar! Our drinks were also amazing. Definitely a stop you need to hit when you are in Marfa!”
“I had received a bag of the Brasilian roast! It arrived to the middle of rural American in 2 days. The beans were perfect! The aroma was heavenly through the shipping box. We ground the beans for an Italian espresso machine and brewed this roast. Hints of cherries and toffee. So smooth and extremely drinkable. The only problem was that it was so so good, that we drank through the bag in less than 2 days. Highly recommend buying coffee from here, as you will not be disappointed!”

“Sandwiches are amazing.
Even for Marfa, hours are unpredictable, so call before you go if you’re hoping to catch them for dinner - they’ve been closed for maintenance a few times that Google hours indicated they were open.”
