“We checked out Cactus Bloom Cocina recently. It was really good! We had huevos rancheros and it didn't disappoint. Our server, Crystal was awesome! She checked on us constantly and had a great personality. The only downside was the parking. It was nothing less than stressful. It was a tiny dirt parking lot. Seemed like an ideal place to get a fender bender. Other than that it was a great experience!“

My husband having lived in Egypt for a period of time was a bit hesitant to try this food because he didn't want to be disappointed, but this is real authentic Egyptian food! “I've ordered the beef street tacos from this location several times now and they are consistently delicious. For some reason they are listed as taquitos on the menu (I believe it's #11) but either way there is a picture of them on the drive-thru menu so you won't get confused. Five tacos for around $11 (includes half a lime and some amazing green salsa to go with it!)“

“I just moved to New Braunfels from the Austin area. I ordered my usual two 4 item breakfast tacos. The tacos are double in size from what I am used to in Austin. It's also a sit down place with awesome service. I went early on a Sunday morning and saw 6 servers there. And they have a patio that you can bring your dog to. The food was excellent and I could tell they used fresh tortillas.“

I have had a hard time finding decent Mexican food in the area and this place hits all the marks for me. Chips and salsa is great, food is on point, the place is clean and the people are nice. It’s a fast casual place that hasn’t quite figured out yet… the staff is very nice and I feel like they are trying hard but both times we have been it’s been very slow. Like family of 4 nearly 45 min just to receive our food. Both times we have had to teach someone down to ask for chips and salsa. 1st visit we received our appetizer (corn in a cup) before we even got back to the table with the water and the second time we didn’t receive the appetizer (corn in the cup again, it is seriously good) until after we were finished with our dinner and had to ask twice. Again the food is good and I am going to give it another chance because of that but I’m going in knowing that if I don’t leave frustrated it will be a first….“
