“We love stopping after Sunday mass at the dickies location on 75/ by the post office to have lunch and every time Leo is here he does an amazing job with our food, service and experience. “I don’t have the best food palate. Like I can’t pick out individual ingredients in a dish you cooked, but that aside I’d like to think of myself as a foodie. Was my first time visiting here on recommendation from a coworker and I can say I’ll definitely be adding this place to my rotation of restaurants. I tried a little bit of everything, sides and meats. Best meat from menu were for sure the ribs. I had a bad experience at another restaurant (not Soulman’s) where I had a full rack of ribs and I think about twenty minutes into my meal they were impossible to chew. In comparison I ate here for well over an hour and the meat was still coming cleanly of the bone. Didn’t need barbecue sauce, I actually kept forgetting to put it on. Best sides were the mac and cheese and the creamed corn. The mac was creamy but not runny noodles cooked just right and had a crust for a nice change in texture as well. The creamed corn was amazing… not runny at all, totally emulsified. Whatever sweetener was added developed this subtle caramel-y flavor. I would’ve ordered 16oz for myself if I didn’t get so much food already.
What BLEW ME AWAY: was the staff particularly a gentleman by the name of Yanzey. I’ve worked in restaurants/customer service for a little over ten years now and I’d like to think I’ve got little to learn from someone else. I’m excellent at making connections with customers and it’s something I take an appropriate amount of pride in. If you would describe yourself similar to me then come to Soulman’s when Yanzey’s here! You’ll find what you have left to learn when it comes to taking care of and recognizing your patrons! Yanzey gave me the names of the other two staff, but unfortunately I can’t recall their names… they however were exactly the same as Yanzey—attentive to everyone that walked in the door. In particular I heard “it’s good to see you again” quite a few times in just the ninety minutes I was there. Then I overheard a conversation Yanzey was having with another patron who I gathered spoke Swahili. My jaw hit the floor at the connection he was making with her: this guy was SPEAKING IN SWAHILI to her and sharing the conversational phrases he had been learning!! The delight in this lady’s voice I heard was so special. Somebody for a moment recognized her individually in a way that I’m sure doesn’t happen often. That’s when I threw my hands up and was like “alright who is this guy?!” Unreal. If you come here with a complaint about the staff you would’ve complained no matter who it was and you’re just having a bad day, because these guys are perfect! Thanks everyone! I’ll be back for more ribs and creamed corn! :^)“

“This is my favorite BBQ place in Dallas! I love that you can order as much meat as you want by the half pound; this is perfect for a carnivore dieter like me who doesn't eat the sides.
I love the lean and moist brisket!
My only disappointment is they always run out of prime rib early on Saturdays. I've gone as early as 4pm and still haven't been able to order any.“

“We came on 11/06/22 around 5 pm family of 4, not really busy we saw a lot of empty tables but the lady server wanted us to share a a room with other couple When I told her no and asked about empty tables she didn’t really give me the answer and told us to wait for 10 -15 minutes for the table We decided to go to other place I dont know the quality of the food but 0 ⭐️ for service“

“My family and I have been eating at Yummies for years and we always were impressed by the quality of all the meals we have had there: burgers, chicken fajita platter, steak tacos, and chicken tacos. I would definitely recommend Yummies for a great meal out! And all meats are zabihah halal.“

“Good place to have dinner. A lot of the skewers are heavy on cumin, so be aware. Everything that we ordered were good. Their boba drinks are very good, especially the strawberry yogurt, and add on the popping boba, very nice. Open late.“

“We consistently come here for great Korean food - the galbi is the best in Texas! They’ve never missed once (both in the quality of the food & friendliness of the staff). All the food we have tried here have been AMAZING! The food hits the spot EVERY TIME! I definitely recommend you try this place if you haven’t yet (get the Ssamjang (bean paste) and use it as a sauce for your meat to give it that extra kick)!“

“My husband and I ate here last night when we walked in the door the waitress (young lady) was warm and welcoming as she explain the food style to us. so we stayed and she helped explain the menu to us as everything was written in Chinese. We ordered a few items and loved the flavor! Spicy 🌶 was what she described the food would be, it was but the amounts of other spices and herbs balanced it out just right! We will be back lots more to try on this menu.“

“Just tried this place, and holy crap is this place amazing! Up until today, my favorite BBQ place was Cooper’s in Llano, but Hutchins in Frisco now has the #1 spot. Not only was every cut of meat I tried tender, moist, and delicious, the sides were also amazing, which is rare for a BBQ place. They knocked it out of the park! Hutchin’s will now be my #1 recommendation any time family or friends visit from out of town.“
