“Good staff and good food they cook the food in your face“

“Visited this place back in Dec 24', but it's been a while, so we wanted to check it out again!

This place (I believe) is run by a couple who live here, so it's super local! They are super sweet and nice, but during busy times, patience will be needed as it seems leanly run. It definitely reminded me of plenty of restaurants in Japan when we went in 2025, where they're usually run by a couple with family helping.

The menu is pretty extensive, ranging from the expected appetizers and ramen to interesting additions like onigiri and hand rolls.

Everything tasted great, and service was nice, albeit a bit on the slower end.

The authentic flavors and vibes are always appreciated, and I highly recommend coming here. Just be aware seating is tight, and if it's full, expect a wait.“

“I have been so patient with waiting for the opportunity to finally try this ramen place! They opened up and by the time I had the chance to go they were temporarily closed. Needless to say I am very excited that they are finally open again! If you live in the 4 corners area of Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Plano you know that there's slim pickin's of GOOD ramen places around. I promise you that this one is so worth it!!! I placed an online order for take out and it said "ready in 20 min." I kid you not I walked into the building right at the 20 minute mark and the man was stapleing the bag to my order closed. Talk about precise! The man working told me that there weren't any bean sprouts in my ramen order because so they weren't fresh, to compensate he gave me an entire order of 4 veggie rolls. What?! Love that level of customer service! Plus, I was debating on even getting the veg rolls and now I'll always order them because they are delicious! Sushi was always amazing and the ramen was so good! The only adjustment I'll make to it next time is to ask for my miso veg ramen it a little spicy. My husbands spicy ramen was PLENTY spicy enough. He loved it!!! Now everytime I have a ramen craving we will be at Kuma!“

“For a spot bext to a walmart, this place is actually pretty good! Ive had Hokkaido Ramen and Sushi on my list of places to go for a while and sad ive waited this long to go. The staff was super nice and knew the menu really well. I had the texas roll (cause who wouldnt want bacon on their sushi 🤣) and the spicy beef bowl. Both were good! I liked the roll a bit more than the ramen, because despite getting it hot, the heat really wasnt there. I also got a bubble tea for the road and was able to get a free sample to try before i chose. I was stuck between the Hokkaido milk tea and Thai tea, and got the Thai tea and didnt regret it! It was so good! Definitely give this place a try! There's one in Fort Worth too!“

“I used to eat here religiously when I lived in Princeton. The food is better then any hibachi restaurant I've been to in dfw. I usually get steak and shrimp with fried rice and veggies. The quality is consistent; always freaking bomb, especially the fried rice!! It should be noted that I'm a huge rice critic when it comes to proper hibachi style fried rice. These people have figured it out tho, its my favorite fried rice on 380!! If your passing through at lunch or dinner time, give them a try.“

“I was scrolling through Uber Eats for a good sushi spot and found this place. The reviews looked good so I took a chance and tried it. Best decision of my life!! The fish is fresh and the spicy rolls are actually spicy. The udon was really good especially in this cold weather. You can tell that there is lots of care put in the food 😋I have definitely found my new spot when I have a sushi craving. 10/10“

“This is one of my favorite sushi restaurants with fantastic sushi run and served by the owners. Great menu options and excellent sushi. They also make excellent Chinese food from General Tso’s chicken to orange chicken. Their prices are great and we eat here weekly.“

“I ordered sushi, rolls, and tempura shrimp from SushiGo (McKinney) On December 31st and they accidentally forgot the tempura shrimp, but when I called, a restaurant representative personally delivered them to my home within 20 minutes. He even brought extra Coke and Sprite as an apology — shrimp were still warm and delicious, despite a 20-minute drive.

The food is always amazing. This was the first mistake ever, and the way they handled it was truly impressive. Five stars without hesitation. I will definitely keep ordering from them and recommending them to everyone.

Even after we moved far away from McKinney two years ago, and there is another SushiGo closer to us now, we still continue to order sushi and rolls specifically from the McKinney location — simply because it tastes better. Quality like this is worth the distance.“
