“My brother (Tokyo) is a regular here and told me that we had to grab a bite at claros during my most recent trip to Houston. Boy did Claros deliver. The special sauce made by chef blew me out of the water. I practically drank it! The service was incredible and all of the flavor recommendations by the staff were superb. Come here with an empty stomach, because they do not skimp on portions or flavor!“

The po’ boy was loaded with plump, seasoned shrimp nestled in fresh, lightly toasted bread with just the right amount of dressing. The fried catfish was crisp on the outside, tender and flaky inside, with no hint of greasiness. The fried shrimp had the perfect crunch, juicy center, and a flavor that kept me reaching for more. Extremely knowledgeable and is willing to go out of his way to make any accommodations he can that you ask!!! Did all the steps of services coming from the restaurant industry in fine dining, and hit every mark possible. All 46 steps of service rob hit! Managers look out, this guy is on the rise!!!! Best service that I have had in years, better than Perry's and saltgrass. Steak was cook perfectly even for not being a steakhouse, they really have something going for them, everything was on point to the tee! Way to go man! Keep slaying everyone with that work ethic!!! “I'll rate it about a 3.75, I guess. Although my Bang Bang Shrimp was great my sister's said their sampler plate was somewhat less to be desired. We had to wait quite a while for our server, Amy, and they weren't extremely busy. A manager did come to check on us & went out of her way to find my sister a bottle of Coca-Cola :) Gift shop prices are outrageous, but it's a fun place with nice scenic views!“

Last Saturday we dropped a piece of jewelry down between the cracks on the patio & the manager was kind enough to unscrew the boards & retrieve it for us!! I just love this place & the staff. My husband got the stuffed red fish and for the first time ever couldn’t eat it all. I recommend sharing an entree so you can save room for dessert which I hear the bread pudding is delicious. I just didn’t have room“

I drove by this place for years and never knew that I was missing out on ALOT . I was missing the down home Louisiana cooking and the friendliest of the staff .Including the owner .
