The crazy taco comes with all ingredients available and tastes like breakfast all in one taco. I usually don't like beans great but some delicious beans in the taco. I would highly recommend this place for great breakfast tacos! Worth the stop!“

“I will be stopping here every day! The staff is so uplifting and friendly. The gentleman at the door (the face of the restaurant you see on the way in and the way out) is phenomenal! I literally leave in a better mood every morning. (even when I am already in a good mood!) The food is great the servers are great and the price is right. If you are one of the folks who had come here pre-covid and experienced the opposite, let me tell you, this is not the same place. This is worth the drive over even when I am not on my way to work!!“

“My family recently moved to Seguin and were in search of a good breakfast taco for those rushed, on-the-go days. We looked up reviews for the area and found one within a few minutes of our new home. My daughter and I drove there and found there were no vehicles outside. I don't trust an empty parking lot, lol. Kept driving and saw a few more empty parking lots. Then we came upon a place that had a line at their drive-thru that went around to the side street. I don't mind waiting for good food so we got in line.Mind you, we were about 6th or 7th in line - so we knew they had great customer service when a young lady ran over to our car to take our order. As we'd never been there before we didn't immediately know what we wanted and asked for her recommendations. She said she liked everything but that their most popular tacos were the Carne Guisada w/Potato and the Bacon/Bean/Potato/Cheese tacos. Sold! She then ran to the cars behind us, taking their orders as well, and then ran back inside.Got to the window to pay and before we could ask were advised that we had 2 different kinds of salsa, salt, pepper and napkins and did we need anything else (?) as we were handed our bag. Nope! Nothing else needed!We ate those delicious breakfast tacos and argued over whether they were delicious because the tortilla was amazing (my stance!), or because every component of the filling was excellently seasoned (my daughter's stance!). It's a win-win regardless.We've lived in Seguin 2 weeks and have visited three times already. Just don't try to go on a Sunday...they're closed. Happy eating!“

“We eat here often not only for the convenience, but the quality of the food and service are both worth mentioning over convenience. I would drive farther to get this food if I had to. Enough said. I'm sitting outside now waiting for my buzzer to go off to pick up our dinner. The melon agua fresca is my wife's IV these days.“

Tacos were ready about 5 minutes after we arrived.
Girl who helped us was super nice.
The tacos were delicious and the tortillas were amazzingggggg. Even the sauces, perfect.
We got all breakfast tacos.:)

“They have barbacoa. They have Menudo. They have some other things as well. I bought a pound of barbacoa it was $15. I bought a large Menudo, it was also $15. Those are their two Mainstays, and they taste pretty much exactly the same as they did in days of old when we were all younger. So if you are taking your taste buds out in search of that old classic flavor that they had before, you will not be disappointed just be sure to take your bank book.“

“Had the barbecoa!! The corn tortillas always soooo hood here. My taco was a bit greasy but very good, just watch the drippings as the taco approaches your mouth..lol. Have napkins ready! That fideo loco was really good!! This one had potatoes in it. Loved the bowl concept! Mexican Ramen..lol. Needed salt but that's ok, good if watching sodium, if not just add your own salt! The Nachos were a nice size and good. My husband really enjoyed his mini tacos! Overall, good family atmosphere. Able to pull the tables together. Waitress really nice. Food brought out nice and hot and not a long wait at all. You sit yourself. Prices were on the menu. Parking available. Stay open in evenings. Did notice prices go up on menu but food is good here so worth it. They have TV Screen for those TV watchers. Bathrooms are available.“

Parking: The only issue with parking is the striping and space delineation. Lots of space but in most cases you can't tell where individual spaces are.“

“Very good service, flavor and price. Clean bathroom, very helpful waitress and fast and very tasty food. Also, Seguin is a very Mexican place, it's not Tex-Mex where they put yellow cheese on everything, it's really Mexican. You won't have that disappointment. It's small but very cute. It is a la carte and very attentive to the diner. There is a children's menu, since the children only snack on the food, my child ordered the pancakes with bacon and egg and he finished them all.“

“We just moved here to st hedwig and I found this local restaurant, I wanted to try their breakfast after reading the positive reviews and they did not disappoint. “First time at Alondras in La Vernia,TX. A gem of a Mexican restaurant, friendly hometown atmosphere. I ordered A Gordita and A Tostada, both with picadillo as the meat choice. The Gordita was stuffed with just the right amount of freshly prepared ingredients to make it delicious, and I might add it was not greasy at all like you may experience at some other restaurants. The Tostada was equally tasty, freshly prepared and crispy. The complimentary chips and salsa were an extra bonus to round up my meal.“

Over the past several years, I fell they have fallen short of the delicious menue they had in the past letting go of some of their more popular items of back in the day.
