“The food was good. The shining star was Mariah S. The woman is hands down the most fantastic bartender I have ever seen, known or heard of. It was like watching a dancer. Even if the food had been total crap, which it wasn't, the evening would have been 5 star, just to see someone who is incredible at her job, work.“

“The food at this location has changed. The free peanuts are still a treat as well as the fresh rolls. The drinks are good as well as the salads. The steaks have made a turn, and I don't know if it's the time if day or location. One does seem to be better than the other. But what we look for is consistency with our food. I order a steak w/ mushrooms, with a loaded baked potato and a salad. I can truely say that my salad was the only thing that was the same. The mushroom were over powering the taste of the steak as when I usually place this order my mushrooms are on the side of my steak or in another fish. My baked potato was rather small and the cheese and added hoping were ok. I know my visit to this location was a first, but we usually wait for the gross to be seasoned before trying new locations. The margaritas on the other hand was a hit, but that's may have been the alcohol talking. I'll try this place again in due time. Just due the cost and taste of the steak, which us usually a hit just wasn't this go around.

“My quandary: give Hannah’s the rave review it deserves and risk not being able to get a table on a Saturday night or just pretend we never made it to dinner? Looking for a new restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, my wife made a reservation at this gem in Denton and we were not disappointed. Our table was laid out with rose petals to celebrate the occasion and the staff wished us a Happy Anniversary. The menu had a multitude of items that sounded mouth-watering, so the decision making process was tortuous. We settled on bacon wrapped dates and steamed mussels as appetizers. The dates were moist and the bacon crispy, a perfect bite of sweet and salty. The mussels were perfectly steamed with a delicious broth and the perfect crispy, warm French bread to sop it up. A great start. My wife ordered Beef Cheek stuffed Ravioli, remembering how much she loved the beef cheeks we first ate in Spain. Ground meat in the ravioli topped with a perfect ragu of tomatoes, beef cheek, and vegetables. I am drawn to duck whenever I see it on the menu and the Rosemary smoked Duck Breast was cooked to perfection; crispy skin, juicy meat, and a sun dried cherry pico tart enough to complement its maple syrup glaze. The sliced duck breast was served atop a wild rice and vegetable pancake that was unique and perhaps the star of the dish. Come on, who wouldn’t love pancakes for dinner? A couple glasses of wine with dinner, a slice of award winning carrot cake for desert with an espresso, and exquisite service all evening long made for an ideal anniversary celebration. Thank you to the kitchen staff and everyone in the front of the house and remember to save us a table on Saturday nights. See you soon.“

“visited The Greenhouse in Denton, Texas, on Friday, July 25th, and really enjoyed the experience. The interior has a great casual dining vibe that’s perfect for conversation — relaxed but refined enough to feel like a treat.

Our waitress struck the perfect balance of attentiveness: available when needed but never intrusive. She gave us excellent recommendations when we were torn on what to order.

Pictured are two of our entrées:

Honey Chipotle Salmon – This was the table favorite. The salmon was glazed with a rich honey chipotle sauce and served alongside jack cheese mashed potatoes and broccolini. The dish was clean, flavorful, and well balanced — the richness of the potatoes was offset beautifully by the glaze. I could honestly put that glaze on anything. 😂

Stuffed Chicken – Filled with poblano pesto and jack cheese, this chicken dish was topped with a creamy poblano pesto sauce and served over the same jack cheese mashed potatoes. While tasty, it felt like it was missing something — maybe a pop of acidity or a marinade to liven up the chicken. Still enjoyable, just not quite as memorable as the salmon.

Overall, we had a fantastic dinner. The wine was great, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for a quiet Friday night out. I’m sure we’ll be back sooner rather than later.“

“We tried Dove Creek Cafe a few weeks ago, and it is home cooking. They have a scheduled special for each day of the week posted. I could eat there every day. “Snooty Pig is a simple place serving traditional American dishes at their place along Country Club Road in Argyle. They have a good sized indoor seating area with tables spaced out nicely. You'll also find friendly and timely service along good portion size servings that seem to taste really good. Had breakfast here recently, ordered the pancake combo with eggs and bacon. Everything tasted exactly like it was supposed to taste, coffee was hot, good and refilled by our waitress regularly. Very pleased with this breakfast and would likely eat here on a fairly regular basis if I had a place like Snooty Pig Cafe back home.“
