“So impressed with the service we had tonight with this restaurant. We do not live in the area and we’re here for a football game. Our youngest son had a terrible headache and their staff stepped up and gave us children’s Advil that they had to go to their vehicle to get. Thanks so much, MICHAEL! Our server was Rolando and he was amazing. We had the soup, tacos, and chili Reno.. which was all fantastic. Great service, great food, and people who care. That’s the most you could ask for. Not to mention our tab was completely reasonable!“

I got the taco tuesday special this past week and it was so good. I got 3 tacos - chicken, al pastor, and asada -and some fries on the side. Their agua frescas are my favorite. Their customer service is excellent and they are so friendly every time. Would recommend this place to everyone!“

“I'm from out-of-state and when I arrived in town I ordered a dozen of the peas & potato enchiladas and tamales for a family gathering for the Labor Day weekend. The food was off the charts! It's the BEST authentic Mexican cuisine south of the border. Literally, I was homesick for Mexican food and La Estrella Mini Market hit the bullseye. “We just had a party of 16 in Miguelto’s in Krum. When we walked in the person setting up our tables was not so friendly about it. Then our server headed over to our table. Her name was Brittany D. She was fabulous!! She handled our order like a champ and kept our drinks filled and our chips and salsa filled as well. Outstanding job Brittany!!! So glad you were our server!! The food was amazing as well!“

“I stopped here to grab lunch and I must say the agua de horchata is the closest I've tasted to the ones I used to get in Mexico and these memories are from over 20years ago. That in of itself made this place worth it. However, the gorditas were also good got 3 each with a different kind of meat. Even though one looked like it was just boiled and wouldn't have much flavor. I was wrong it was surprisingly very tender and flavorful. If I'm ever in the area I hands down will be stopping by again to try something different except for the horchata that's a staple.“

“Imagine chipotle, but better, cheaper, and more fantastic. The meat is very good. Especially the habanero lime steak (I think it’s limited) but it’s very very good. Anytime I get a bowl I always leave full and satisfied. I paid a decent price, for a great meal. They aren’t shy on your portions either, you can also easily get double, or even triple steak, without it quadrupling the cost.“

I have driven by this place so many times in the past and saw so many cars out there doing the morning time and some even at lunch. Today I stopped in for breakfast. I did not know what to order so I allowed the lady at the cash register to suggest what I should be eating for breakfast this morning. I want to say I ate a pupusa which was overflowing with warm beans and cheese. This was my favorite and when I go back to this establishment again I'm going to order at least three or four of these delicious savory breakfast meals. The customer service was kind and efficient for the small establishment. The people in the back were very focused on making the food and getting people on with their mornings. The parking lot is very small but people are coming and going in a very efficient manner. If you can order this online which I believe you can. You should be able to just pick up and go. Will definitely be trying this restaurant early in the morning once again soon.“

We arrived about two hours before closing and the restaurant was already in full end-of-day mode: chairs on tables and floors being mopped like the finale had started early. Totally get wanting a head start, but the cleaning solution was very strong and ended up making our food taste like it. Brisket with hints of fresh citrus wasn’t quite what we ordered 😅
