“So impressed with the service we had tonight with this restaurant. We do not live in the area and we’re here for a football game. Our youngest son had a terrible headache and their staff stepped up and gave us children’s Advil that they had to go to their vehicle to get. Thanks so much, MICHAEL! Our server was Rolando and he was amazing. We had the soup, tacos, and chili Reno.. which was all fantastic. Great service, great food, and people who care. That’s the most you could ask for. Not to mention our tab was completely reasonable!“

I spent 50$ total (on our first visit) and tried to charge me to refill horchata.... In a cup filled with a LOT of ice...and an expensive drink...sigh ..smh
They are not too customer friendly for the reward.
It would seem to us that they're not really interested in building a large customer base.

“We have always loved eating at Mi Ranchito so we asked them to cater my husband's 50th birthday party at our home and WOW, WOW, WOW!!! The food was delicious, professionally prepared, and served with perfect customer service. Our guests loved the food and the kindness from the staff!! It's the BEST authentic Mexican cuisine south of the border. Literally, I was homesick for Mexican food and La Estrella Mini Market hit the bullseye. On the inside it's decorated with a bunch of little cars, stringy lights, and little fun things all over. I ordered the beef Fajita taco and the guacamole taco, both of them were quite good. I like the beef Fajita a bit better because the guacamole taco was just that. A taco filled with guacamole. Don't get me wrong I liked it, but just taken back. Tried the bistek, carnitas and barbacoa which were all delicious and came with the traditional green and red salsas and diced onions, cilantro and lime. The star of the show was the birria tacos, which came with rice and consommé. These are the best birria tacos I’ve ever had and I consider myself a snob. “This place has been in business for 30+ years, its our local fav for breakfast tacos, and they are the best, especially the June Bug tacos (beef carnitas in gravy, a house specialty , ask the owners' story behind it). 2-3 of thoses might last me the whole day. On fresh, hand made tortillas too! But like a lot of good, old skool restaurants, when they run out, they run out. This is the way are, early bird gets the worm, the best traditional/historic tacos joints are just like that throughout the state, so ignore most of the bad reviews, because alotta folks complain about this, but if you go after 12 noon, theres a good chance they will be out of food. Its just the way local taco joints are...so get up early and get your Casa Galaviz tacos, ese!!“

Employee Rob at front counter was very kind entire visit and very helpful with his knowledge of food sold there. Rob was extremely patient explaining to me what was in burritos and bowls and tacos until we made my final decision on meals. 3 tvs going so plenty to choose from with access to seating by everyone of the TV's. Olympics were on one which was excellent because we enjoy sports!!! Also had chips n cheese dip appetizer and chips were fresh and flaky and cheese dip was delicious. Spices in dip were perfect.
