But what you really want to do is go in the morning and get their Leo’s Especial. 10.99 for 4 fat (and yummy) barbacoa tacos made with homemade corn tortillas! and a bowl of - that’s right, BOWL not cup! - yummy menudo. While the menudo is good, I cannot get over the amazing barbacoa tacos! Service is okay and so is atmosphere but honestly you’ll forget about all that once you try the food.“

“My man literally plans specific bbq chicken days, as he calls them, just to come over here from Harlingen and feast on what he claims, is the best Mexican chicken he’s ever eaten. Not going to lie, it is really good too and worth the drive.

We usually order the combo #1 with the half chicken, half carne, sausage because we like that specific variety and it is also a lot of food. The chicken is seasoned delectably and cooked to perfection every time, the beef is deliciously seasoned as well. Every combo comes with rice, mashed potatoes, tortillas, and some of the best salsa I’ve ever had.

My favorite thing from here is the whole baked potato. I don’t know what it is about it, but it’s perfectly buttered, the cheese they use is delicious, and they load it with plentiful carne as well. It’s a whole meal by itself and it’s probably one of the hugest baked potatoes I’ve ever had and ordered from anywhere. They also do offer chips and salsa if you dine in.

Definite recommend, and wish we had one closer to us.“
