“My wife and I are regulars at Bedford Ice House. We’re here at least once a week, so we’ve had plenty of great experiences here over time. Tonight I wanted to give a shoutout to our waitress, Hailey, because she really stood out.

In my business at Sofia Lucas, I pay close attention to service and the little details that make an experience feel smooth and easy. Hailey absolutely nailed that. She was friendly, quick, and had great awareness of the table the whole time. Drinks stayed full, food came out right, and she checked in at the perfect moments without ever being overbearing.

You can tell when someone genuinely cares about the guest experience, and Hailey definitely does.

This is actually my first time leaving a review, but I felt like the service deserved it. We love coming here and I’m already looking forward to next Sunday when we’re back again.

I came in a complete stranger, and left with a few friends. I really enjoyed the Thursday and Monday night Open jams. Pork chop is a killer harmonica player, and Garret the Bartender is groovy on the bass. Sweet is an artist on the drums.

“OMG....My new BEST place!! Why no previous reviews (that I read) mentioning the POKER table game going on?? Was my 1st visit here but will NOT be my last! I am known as OG & I am an 'older lady' (66 going on 26) who loves, Loves, LOVES shooting pool & dancing to the music!! I felt accepted & loved immediately!! I'm in heaven right now with the good music, playing pool with Tanner & Brooke & having a GREAT TIME!!!! No judging here. You are our people when you walk thru the door!! Sheet can get a little crazy as the day's end approaches & as the booze rolls on but WTF, love it or leave it! We come to chill, playing games, converse, dance to the music, just let it all hang out, de-stress & have a good time!! NO one allowed to drive home drunk. Ain't happening, love y'all too much!! Someone will help ya or last resort...The police can come get you to make sure you get home safe...eventually. LMAO!! Everyone looks Ain't happening, love y'all too much!!!! “This bar has the right amount of bar seating, the right amount of table to standing area ratio, ample corners for darts, and a pool table area right next to the restroom so you can hear you buddy scratch on his shot and be close enough to catch him manipulating the pool balls with his grubby cheating hands. There’s even an outdoor area to smoke cigs reminiscent of the breeze-way outside your high school cafeteria where the burnouts ate lunch.
The bartender might moonlight at a rough and tumble biker bar across town, but Tanstaafl is about as menacing as the prospect of Christmas dinner after skipping breakfast, lunch, and drinking a few glasses of stiff Christmas punch. Speaking of Christmas, after the sun set, the bar played Home Alone 1 on a projector in the corner of the bar, the projector was very high quality.“

“Mexican Inn is one of my to go to places for Mexican dining. From the moment they place the delicious chips on the table(my favorite is the strips that puff up because when I dip them in the hot sauce I actually get a bite of sauce) till I get my food, it is a very enjoyable experience. The food is fabulous and enough of it that I never quite eat all of it. The staff goes to great lengths to ensure that our comfort and safety because my husband who is almost 84 has mobility issues and until recently used a cane. “It's a great place to go unwind. They have a good sized porch with a couple of small tables to sit at. Once you go inside you will see a few pool tables, dart stands with individual dart boards, and I had seen two cornhole tables out back. I think that has karaoke along with a jukebox that could play as well. The music that played through the whole bar had a good sound level. It was just right. They have a big open back area that is nice. Metal grate tables that are round with matching chairs. On a stone patio that has a good color scheme. It's illuminated by lines of lights strung above. It's a nice dim area that has a big open area. They have a shared bathroom. Don't worry if you have to wait. You can play a game of pinball while you wait. There's a pinball machine right outside the bathroom. The bar had a nice selection and everybody that was there got along well. It was a good atmosphere“

“I went to Sunshine with my best friend one night because we were trying to explore Arlington at the time.. Long story short… i have rarely went to any other bars since that day. Every bartender has become a close friend and every customer is different. I literally have taken my grandmother here twice and she loves it. There is every type of crowd and a wide range of ages/music nightly.. cheap enough drinks that are served by bartenders who actually care. Shoutout Kate..Val.. Sean.. and Nat & Emily even tho they have since left .. 10/10 recommend!!“

“Very nice restaurant in the doubletree. Convenient because I just walked downstairs and ordered food to go. Hostess was very polite and friendly and grabbed me an ice water while I waited. I only had to wait less than ten minutes. The picture does not do the black bean burger justice because it was delicious and flavorful. There were two bean Pattie’s and they were stuffed with a layer of beans, corn, peppers and onions. It was tasty and very filling.“

Good tap beer selection at reasonable prices and food selections are unlimited if you don't mind a few minutes of shopping. Website promotes game-day watching however the corner TVs were small and no jumbo screens. Very bright lighting is probably due to grocer affiliation. Very larger patio also has a few TVs. Patio appears to be pet friendly however no nearby relief spots due to vast grocer parking.“
