“Never in my life that I would think bar food would be as good as it is here. Hubby had the trash can nachos with chicken and he enjoyed them. I had the chicken Caesar wrap and let me tell you. This wrap is one of the best I have ever had. It was filled with plenty of Caesar salad, chicken and parm and lightly toasted where the outside of the wrap had parm cheese on it too. It was freaking amazing! We went during a Cowboys game and thought it would be too pack. It is a big place with plenty of room to sit inside and outside. Our waitress was very nice and always followed up with us. We will frequent this place not only for the food but the atmosphere as well.“

“Mexican Inn is one of my to go to places for Mexican dining. From the moment they place the delicious chips on the table(my favorite is the strips that puff up because when I dip them in the hot sauce I actually get a bite of sauce) till I get my food, it is a very enjoyable experience. The food is fabulous and enough of it that I never quite eat all of it. The staff goes to great lengths to ensure that our comfort and safety because my husband who is almost 84 has mobility issues and until recently used a cane. We went for a friend's bday, the atmosphere was what we were looking for, dive bar chill, karaoke, friendly service, and fun locals to meet and have some drinks and conversation with.

If you like a cigar and drinks, they've got a cool and large patio area to hang out in on the backside of the building.

“Great lil pub with friendly bar staff. Darts and pool table available and has small stage for entertainers. Back patio/alley is cozy but mostly a retreat for smokers. Too many tables and chairs made main room navigation a challenge and would be difficult for mobility impaired.“

I am known as OG & I am an 'older lady' (66 going on 26) who loves, Loves, LOVES shooting pool & dancing to the music!! I felt accepted & loved immediately!! I'm in heaven right now with the good music, playing pool with Tanner & Brooke & having a GREAT TIME!!!! No judging here. You are our people when you walk thru the door!! Sheet can get a little crazy as the day's end approaches & as the booze rolls on but WTF, love it or leave it! We come to chill, playing games, converse, dance to the music, just let it all hang out, de-stress & have a good time!! NO one allowed to drive home drunk. Ain't happening, love y'all too much!! Someone will help ya or last resort...The police can come get you to make sure you get home safe...eventually. LMAO!! Everyone looks Ain't happening, love y'all too much!!!! “Favorite dive bar. Karaoke is Thursday nights. They have a DJ Wednesdays. They got a jukebox too. Cheap drinks. Comfortable chairs and the bar is the centerpiece. This place is for drinking and talking. Cozy. Treat the bartenders with respect, I've seen people come in and think they can be rude.“

“I visited yesterday (3/5/2026) for the first time after The Happy Armadillo was recommended by someone I meet at No Frills in Burleson. Lo and behold, she was actually there during my visit, which made my visit all the more eventful and enjoyable.
There weren't that many people, because it was about lunch time, but I absolutely love this place. It's a small, quaint, and the people are amazingly friendly. It encompasses everything I imagine when picturing a neighborhood bar.
I'm so glad the bartender (Gretchen) said they served Banquet. Otherwise, I wouldn't have gone. I wish they had it on tap, but the bottles did the job 😁

“We did a quick trip from Houston to Ft. Worth and was looking for something fun to do. From Facebook, I learned Redd Dawg had an open mic night. A quick message asking about a house guitar and it was answered in under five minutes. So, on we went looking for the treasure of a good time and boy, we found a DIAMOND!!! For the time we walked in it felt like we were part of the family. Plenty of singing, strumming, and jokes for everyone. The beer was ice cold and at wonderful prices. The hospitality was top-notch. I’m not big on judging books by their cover and we were blessed by the good time gods tonight. I am so thankful for the regulars and the staff. All were welcoming. We planned to be there an hour or so and ended up staying a few. If you’re wanting a good time, with good people, and ice-cold beer, you’ve found the right place!“

“I’ve had a total of three breakfast so far on my 11 day stay at the double tree by Hilton. All breakfasts are provided by the brass spur bar and grill and I have not been disappointed. There are some classic hotel breakfast items such at scrambled eggs and pork sausage but they also add variety each day. Yesterday was pancakes, bacon and oatmeal. Today is the ioption to make breakfast tacos with chorizo or sausage and they also had grits available. Monica is doing a great job making sure the hotel guests do not get bored with breakfast and I’m looking forward to the mornings to come.“
