“First, despite being a long term user of OpenTable I can not make a reservation. I successfully reserved a table for 2, but not the 5 I needed for my daughter's 16th birthday. Woops. However, the hosting team quickly was still able to seat us moments later at our appointed time despite my error. First, bravo. Second, goes to Ben who was authentically interested in service without being pushy. My family never worried about drink glasses being empty and food was brought so timely it could have been a symphony the way it was conducted. Third, bravo goes to the kitchen who executed consistently well throughout the night and delivered with Ben's help a birthday surprise for my girl's Sweet Sixteen. The management at Bulla deserves a lot of credit for the excellence the team performs and I love it every time I go for a meal.”

“I had a wonderful brunch experience at Mexican Sugar today! Despite the hot weather, my friend and I chose to sit on the patio so she could have her puppy with us. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We had two waiters, both of whom checked on us regularly, even though we were the only ones outside. One of them even brought water for the puppy, which was such a thoughtful touch. The manager also stopped by several times to make sure everything was perfect, and he was incredibly friendly. And let’s not forget the food—it was absolutely phenomenal! From the service to the cuisine, everything was top-notch. I highly recommend Mexican Sugar for a fantastic dining experience!”

“This was our first time dining inside this Whataburger in Plano, as we usually go through the drive-thru. I was really impressed by how clean the restaurant is! I used the restroom, and it was spotless, smelled great, and everything was well-organized.
We were helped by Mae, and she was absolutely wonderful! She is an outstanding employee—attentive, kind, and always ready to help. If anyone from Whataburger in Plano is reading this, you should definitely give her a raise! She is hardworking, dedicated, and truly an asset to your team.

“A lot of Whataburgers have gone downhill after being sold and a lot of them having teenagers not wanting to work run quite a few of the locations. The food tasted just like the old WB recipe we have noticed that the food around where we live do not have the same seasoning and the food is cold and just slapped together by teens that want to be on their phones and not wanting to work. This Whataburger was a wonderful surprise. The staff were friendly and hardworking. They were busy cooking, waiting on customers and actually bringing the food to us instead of screaming a number or our name out for us to come to collect. This store has a great deal of regulars because we could hear the customers calling the staff by name and inquiring about their day and family members. The staff would greet several regulars as they entered by name and the manager would come out to greet them and make small talk to the regulars. When we go to my Dr near or to Methodist Richardson Medical Center, we make sure to stop by and eat. We won't be known as regulars, but we sure do enjoy the food at this location and how nice the staff is at this very clean location. There was one time we stopped by after my post op visit and the bathroom floor was flooded. The person we told immediately went into the bathroom to investigate and immediately started mopping up the mess. We have complained at other locations about dirty bathrooms or water on the floor and we have been ignored and nothing happened the whole time we were there. It is so refreshing to see a Whataburger location that takes pride in their restaurant and their jobs and are nice to their customers.”

They were about 80 to 90 miles from where I lived in Columbus but, now that I live in Texas it’s my new favorite fast food restaurant love the tacos love the teriyaki bowls love Jack’s”

“May the angels working the night shift on 17 Feb 2025 get all the praise and recognition they deserve! I'd ordered from this Ihop through Doordash while waiting at the super nearby Baylor Heart Hospital's ER with my mom. Thankfully she was ok and got discharged but before the doordash order was set to be delivered to the ER. I sent my dasher a message informing her so but that we were willing to meet her at Ihop and save her the trip. No response. I called my dasher. No response. I get to the restaurant and turns out the dasher had taken the food anyway and left the order as in progress on Doordash... The ladies at Ihop were completely blameless but apologetic all the same. They quickly decided to remake the order without a second thought. They were kind enough to bring it out to the car where I was dealing with Doordash customer service while waiting with my hungry mom - and fast. Thank you ladies for turning a rough night into a pleasant exchange, yall are sweethearts that spread hope in humanity no matter how simple it might have seemed. My sincerest thank yous! Oh and that meal back home was absolutely delicious, compliments to you all!”

I called in an order of Mititei to-go, and they were delicious! I cannot wait to go back and try their Sarmale, Schnitzel, and the pizza & pasta! We were immediately greeted as soon as we walked in by a super sweet little smiling blonde and a group of other smiling, friendly teens. These kids seemed happy and excited to be there and eager to serve. We all got AMAZING ice cream and service and will be Handel's regulars for sure. My main reason for this review is for the owner to know what an AMAZING group of kids you have working this store. You rarely see young kids these days that engage with people and can actually have conversations with adults. This was on 6/28/24 So thank you for such a delicious and fun treat!”

“We tried this place today for the first time. We noticed it after finishing lunch at a restaurant within the shopping center. The inside is pretty and I love that the sign inside says it is all made from scratch. There are many choices; more than I expected. You can order a slice of cake, cupcakes, or a whole cake. We bought a couple of different flavors- Oreo and red velvet cupcakes plus coconut and chocolate strawberry slices. $24 + the credit card machine asks if you want to tip. The woman assisting us said the cupcakes were sold 2 at a time. Apparently you can’t get a single cupcake?? Her demeanor was all business and she seemed impatient as we ordered. My son ate his Oreo cupcake incredibly fast. Not surprising for a kid but he gave it his stamp of approval. My red velvet cupcake was delicious. It didn’t have a rum cake taste, but the frosting was light and not overly sweet. The actual cupcake was moist and flavorful. We have yet to eat our 2 slices but expect they will be equally as good. Hopefully the next time we go, we’ll get better service. The service is the reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I considered only doing 3 stars but figured I’d give the benefit of the doubt that maybe she was just having a bad day.”

The 3 of us celebrated our respected wedding anniversaries because my husband and I got married on what would’ve been the 50th wedding anniversary for my in-laws. Since my FIL past away, we’ve continued to make sure he is still a big part of all of us. This means a lot to my MIL. Our whole experience at Knife Plano was incredible! We were greeted warmly as we entered and were seated. Our main server, Jason, was prompt and smooth as he catered to us. The appetizer we chose, shrimp cocktail was the best we have had. Our steak entrees were perfectly cooked and paired well with the side dish of onion rings. I ordered the salmon and would order it again without hesitation. Our dessert was crème brûlée and the portion was bigger than we’ve had at other fine dining establishments. That was delicious, too! We look forward to dining here again very soon!”

“I ordered a 6 month birthday cake and picked it up at Butterfly Cakery today. Let me just say, don't walk but please run to this place if you want a great cake but also if you want great service. So, I was so impressed with the cake when I picked it up and was on my way to put it in my car and as I was laying it down , it toppled due to my clumsiness. I was heartbroken and walked back in and was just about in tears. Cynthia from Butterfly Cakery, who had decorated my cake came to my rescue, used her magic and fixed it to look perfect..like nothing had happened. She even built me a custom base that was larger to make it sturdier. She went above and beyond and took so much trouble to fix it for me. I have been to a few cake shops in the past but I have never received such wonderful service as I did at Butterfly Cakery. “I had a wonderful brunch experience at Mexican Sugar today! Despite the hot weather, my friend and I chose to sit on the patio so she could have her puppy with us. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We had two waiters, both of whom checked on us regularly, even though we were the only ones outside. One of them even brought water for the puppy, which was such a thoughtful touch. The manager also stopped by several times to make sure everything was perfect, and he was incredibly friendly. And let’s not forget the food—it was absolutely phenomenal! From the service to the cuisine, everything was top-notch. I highly recommend Mexican Sugar for a fantastic dining experience!”

The unusual thing about the décor, is that there’s also shelves holding bits of old technology, books and toys. The external black brick and shaded yellow accent lights is a color theme I like a lot….looks very slick. The overall look is slick, with a casual yet stylistic atmosphere with nice mood lighting. Anyways, on to the food! We started with the Crispy Pork Belly Bites…they were good. The sweet honey glaze, pickled fresnos and charred mandarins give it a sweet, tasty and smoky flavor. For my main, I had the bone-in cowboy ribeye with charred broccolini. I asked for medium rare, but it came out more medium and I wasn’t that keen on the broccolini. My wife went with the petite filet and tallow fries….the fries were really nice. We used to cook our “chips” in beef dripping back in the day as a kid in England, which is essentially what beef tallow is. I finished off with the Whiskey Bread Pudding, which is made with crossiants and topped with caramel sauce, cinnamon sugar and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. VERY NICE!!! Everything is sourced locally, too. Service was fast and friendly, so I can’t fault them there either. It’s not cheap, though. Price-wise, it’s between Paul Martin’s and Perry’s Steakhouse. Overall, we enjoyed our time there and will be back again.”
