“Great sandwiches and friendly staff. Patient and very kind! The pretzel dippers they have water not my favorite, you can have sweet or salty but there is not a lot of either added to the pretzel. Now the foot long cookies are so so good.
Wheelchair accessibility: We had a lady who was in a wheel chair and had no issues getting her in or out of the establishment!“

“It took forever to place an order in the drive-thru, as the order kept being repeated back to me and showing up on the screen incorrectly. I lost count how many times I repeated the order, but I know it was given at least 5 different times (2 sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit meals with large iced coffees, and 3 sausage mcgriddles - nothing fancy or complicated).
There was a time during the ordering process when the person taking the order went completely silent for about a minute. I had to say hello multiple times, then ask if anyone was there before I got a response. The response: an incorrect order. Once again, order repeated, then displayed incorrectly on the screen. After about 5 minutes and at least four other cars in the other lane moving forward, the order finally showed up correctly on the screen. I came to the realization that I most likely would not get the food I ordered, and just hoped there were enough sandwiches to feed everyone.
I'm happy to report we got the correct order (even received an extra sandwich), and we weren't charged for food we did not order. Also both the lady who took payment, and the lady who handed us our food were both very polite/friendly at the window.
If I had to guess why ordering was so challenging, I'd say this was most likely a new employee who was overwhelmed by the morning rush. I understand how a taking multiple orders at once can be an arduous task, especially for someone learning a new system/process. While I was patient and polite during the process, it would have been nice if they had just let me know what was going on instead of complete silence for such an extended period of time.“

“What a great place. Very nice workers. The atmosphere was awesome. The blizzards were amazing.
I was impressed with the military discount they offered as well. I really felt honored by them and felt special when I left. This isn't something most places make veterans feel. I honestly left and thought to myself, they care.
I watched a family with a child who had special needs come in after me. The employees who worked there made them feel welcomed and at home. It's hard to find good, honest help like this. Great job, Rockdale! Maybe it's something in the water. You should share your water with other towns in central Texas.“
