“My family loves Basil cafe! Typically Asian restaurants are not as known for their services. But every time we visit Basil cafe, we are impressed by them. They are super friendly and easy to talk to. Then it is the food. My kids love Ramens from Basil cafe, they are delicious. My husband and I love they have a large selection of food choices. I feel every time we come, we found something we love. Definitely highly recommended!”

“March 2025 We chose this place for out 53rd wedding anniversary. We have had excellent meals here in the past for special occasions but tonight was beyond expectations. Tuesday nights are usually low attendance, but the staff at BIN 303 were beyond welcoming and attentive to us. It seems as if the whole staff was waiting for us, all knew about our occasion, and they went out of their way to make this evening a special one for us. The meal was spectacular in every way. Our waitress Seeli was attentive and a joy. The bar hostess was also extremely accommodating, taking good care of us while we waited for a private booth to become available. Everyone made for a perfect evening for us, one that we will never forget. As for the meal. the filets were the best we have ever had, and every side and desert made the meal unforgettable. We will be back for number 54 and 55 and 56 until we can no longer do it. Thanks again for a most memorable evening Jim and Esther Burch”

“I ordered through grub hub so I can't rate atmosphere. I ordered the socal fries with carne asada. OMG! Let me tell you....the carne was juicy flavorful and really brought the plate together. The curly fries were perfectly fried. I also added the queso and avocado ranch. The order came quicker than expected which was kinda cool. The serving size is abundant. You will get full! The price is worth the meal. I was born and raised in socal and carne asada fries were a thing however I don't remember them ever being close to tasting as good as these babies! I'm impressed.
I will be making it a point to go into the establishment so I can try some more of what's offered here and give yall an actual rating for atmosphere ;)”

Their food and incredible staff always exceed my expectations….Every single time I come, no matter what I order, the food is OUTSTANDING and the extremely friendly staff …They are AMAZING and treat customers like family…. Today they brought a slice of their homemade deep dish pizza (yet to be introduced to the daily menu) and asked for my opinion. Of COURSE, it was EXCELLENT! (See pic 3) I always order meat sauce with their garlic bread as an appetizer every time. Highly recommend! “Let’s start out by saying from the moment I stepped in, till I sat down I felt welcome. Everyone was attentive. I ordered the loaded fries, fair price $11 dollars. It was deemed as a shareable entre , it doesn’t look like it , but it is. I personally would have had more seasoning on the fry and bacon. Overall 9.3/10. The drinks were 10/10. Not too strong but just right. I tried the margarita flight and oh my! It was amazing!!! The several other drinks I had were spectacular. I tried their “BBQ and Bacon pizza”. I replaced it with buffalo sauce, it was 8.5/10. The dough / crust was 10/10. Enhancing more flavor like a sufficient amount of toppings or sauce would bring it up to 10/10. I will be back, the food, drinks , and atmosphere was amazing. All photos attached. I tried to truly enjoy the moment.”

“They had candy bars on”sale” but they were stale…when I tried to return some later that day at the one on I 35 between Dallas and Waxahachie I had a horrible experience with that MOD there. I had a receipt but because I was a few miles down the road they wouldn’t return it, and not only that but he went on and on about how it would hurt his “record” if he returned anything, even though I had a receipt from that same day 20 miles away. He wouldn’t even return an $.80 purchase. If I just asked for 1 refund. It was a ridiculous experience. I will never go back to that store on I 35. Also that store continued to sell the stale products on his shelf, even though they were told they were stale as well. finally they didn’t ask for my number so I could get points and they clicked the button so quickly for me, I couldn’t put my phone number in so I had to return everything I bought after that and I had to re-purchase it again to get the points. So, I was there at 2 stores to buy a few things for over an hour and the worst customer service at the one on the way to Waxahachie”

Since 2016, I’ve been hoping for a spot that checks all the boxes—great food, solid service, a chill atmosphere, and a menu that doesn’t force you to pick between taste and your cholesterol. To make sure it wasn’t a fluke, I ate there four times this week. You know, for research. It’s only 2 miles from my house, which is both a blessing and a threat to my wallet. The menu? Eclectic and actually healthy—real, flavorful options that don’t feel like you’re being punished for trying to eat clean. The vibe is modern and fresh, with a light “Couchman-style” house beat playing—loud enough to catch a groove, soft enough to hold a conversation. Although I don’t drink, they’ve got a fully stocked bar if you’re into that day-drinking lifestyle. Mimosas for the win, no judgment here. Shoutout to Maddie, who served me 2 of the 4 times I went. Young, friendly, and totally on point—she knew the menu, offered great recs, and made the whole experience even better. Service across the board was consistent. Also worth noting: the male servers all look like they could moonlight as personal trainers or possibly perform at LaBare. I’m not saying they do… I’m just saying they could. For entrees, we chose two excellent dishes: 1. ½ Roasted Chicken over Mashed Potatoes – This dish was pure comfort food at its finest. The chicken was perfectly roasted, juicy, and tender, while the creamy mashed potatoes were a delightful complement. 2. Trout – The trout was beautifully grilled, sitting atop a bed of roasted vegetables. Every bite was fresh and flavorful, making it a perfect choice for seafood lovers. “I was a little skeptic at first due to some of the reviews, but to my surprise the food was good but the service was not that great (I was totally Ignored by a Blonde waitress). I had a large beef Pho. The atmosphere was great, good memories from my trip to Vietnam. The first table was dirty and I had to move to a different table with no silverware. After being ignored by Karen, I had to get up to find a different table to get a fork and a spoon. I can’t complain about the price since unfortunately I am living with hillbilly’s here in Rockwall and would need to drive to Richardson for better tasting and better priced pho.”

“I recently stopped by Taco Casa in Rockwall, Texas, and let me tell you, it was a glorious experience. The moment I walked in, I was greeted like royalty – or at least like someone who was about to eat their weight in tacos. The staff was so friendly, I half expected them to offer me a blanket and some slippers while I waited. These folks could run a masterclass in customer service: smiles everywhere, and they had my order ready faster than I could say “extra cheese, please.”

Now, let’s talk about the food. If you’re looking for a culinary masterpiece, keep walking. But if you want delicious, cheesy, taco goodness that makes your taste buds do a happy dance, you’ve come to the right place. The tacos were crispy, the nachos were loaded, and the burritos… well, they were the size of my forearm. I’m not sure what they put in their cheese, but I’m pretty sure it’s happiness in shredded form.

Honestly, the only thing better than the food was watching my diet plans fly out the window. But who needs a beach body when you can have a taco in each hand, right?

If you’re in Rockwall and not stopping by Taco Casa, you’re doing life wrong. Great food, great staff, and the perfect excuse to ditch your salad for the day. Highly recommend!”
