“I went to the Hawaiian Brothers in Rowlett and as always I was blown away by the service and the food. I spoke with one of the managers and her name is Tangie and she was awesome. Her knowledge of the food and the menu was absolutely amazing. So I just wanted to give an outstanding recommendation to anyone who would like to try the Hawaiian culture and it's amazing food. “Went there last night, awesome service, amazing food, the stuffed mushrooms were off the chart, along with our entrees! Staff made you feel like you were in Italy. Best Italian I have ever eaten. Hopefully we can get back out that way again soon!! Might have to have dessert the next time!!”

Having grown up just outside of Philly, I’ve been in Texas since I was 12 years old, I’ve been on the quest to find the best Philly Cheesesteak in Texas, and I think Cheesesteak House is quite possibly the best! I will definitely be back again, and hope to bring some of my family that still lives in the Philadelphia, PA area!”

“I have always been a fan of Bankhead, but have not been in a while. My children and I went yesterday for Mother’s Day and our ticket was accidentally lost. The staff went above and beyond to make it up to us with some delicious appetizers while they finished up our orders. Mistakes happen, but we definitely will be visiting again soon.”

“Stopped in for grand opening so happy to see that it was busy and even happier that it was worth the wait! I ordered the flatbread with fig spread, apples, brie snd and a balsamic and honey drizzle it was delicious. Super friendly and welcoming staff. I think I’ll get another one tomorrow 🤣 The peach smoothie was amazing as well. Grain and Berry is definitely going to be my go to spot for a healthy treat. Welcome to Texas guys❤️”

“I wanted to tell you about one of your managers at the Live Oak, Texas location. Ms. Arnesia (or Amesia if I spelled it wrong). My family and I live about 20 miles from this location. You don't have many locations where I live, but the food quality to me is worth the drive. However, this time we ordered out of convivence. We ordered food via a food delivery app (DoorDash) and was devastated when we received EMPTY bags at our front door. Over a $100 food order and it was gone. I drove to this location with the bags in hand, and when I asked to speak to the Manger, I met Ms. Arnesia. She explained how I was the 3rd customer that had happened too that day and she had already reported the driver. She helped me to do the same. She was working deliveries and ensured us the orders were included and sealed. She was so sorry it had happened to me and my family. She asked us to not eat any of the remaining items for our safety. She reprocessed the entire order including the drinks and shakes. I'm sure being the third person with that issue that day during her shift, should have allowed for her to at the very least have some aggravation. She never spoke, displayed, or seem to have any negative reaction at all in correcting this situation. When I arrived, I was furious, and I left feeling so care for and appreciated and safe. After meeting Ms. Arnesia, I won't be going anywhere else for my American Burger meals if she is there. She has added to your quality and delicious food with her exceptional customer service. I can't thank her enough for saving our weekend and keeping us in good spirits after all that had happened. People make time to file complaints so easily but fail to praise the people who stand out and go above and beyond. I made time for Ms. Arnesia today. “Awesome addition to downtown Rowlett. excellent pastries (huge variety) and breads. Fabulous coffee with house made syrups. They offer some unique coffee creations. I've enjoyed the Hot Turkish Coffee with cardamom syrup, the Mexican coffee with cinnamon and the iced horchata coffee. Great local vibe. Limited indoor seating but plentiful outdoor seating so I look forward to enjoying more coffee al fresco now that spring is here. Don't leave without a loaf of their sourdough bread. I ate a whole loaf by myself in a week. So delicious!”

Since 2016, I’ve been hoping for a spot that checks all the boxes—great food, solid service, a chill atmosphere, and a menu that doesn’t force you to pick between taste and your cholesterol. To make sure it wasn’t a fluke, I ate there four times this week. You know, for research. It’s only 2 miles from my house, which is both a blessing and a threat to my wallet. The menu? Eclectic and actually healthy—real, flavorful options that don’t feel like you’re being punished for trying to eat clean. The vibe is modern and fresh, with a light “Couchman-style” house beat playing—loud enough to catch a groove, soft enough to hold a conversation. Although I don’t drink, they’ve got a fully stocked bar if you’re into that day-drinking lifestyle. Mimosas for the win, no judgment here. Shoutout to Maddie, who served me 2 of the 4 times I went. Young, friendly, and totally on point—she knew the menu, offered great recs, and made the whole experience even better. Service across the board was consistent. Also worth noting: the male servers all look like they could moonlight as personal trainers or possibly perform at LaBare. I’m not saying they do… I’m just saying they could. All in all, this place has every ingredient to become a Forney favorite, if not a full-blown local legend.”

“I wanted to take a moment to recognize Jiselle (Gizelle?) at the Lakeview location. All 3 of my kids have birthdays this week and their one meal ask was for CFA. Jiselle was immediately welcoming to us, brought the kids coloring pages and toys and checked on us frequently. 2 things that stood out to me the most about her was that she spoke to each of my kids like they were a friend, and I even noticed how she would jump in and help other employees without being asked. My oldest was persistent in telling someone that it was her birthday and she (despite being a very shy child) felt comfortable enough to tell Jiselle and Jiselle was sweet enough to bring her a special birthday toy. I work in an environment where client experience is our top priority and Jiselle is an employee that anyone should feel lucky to have. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening dining with you all!”

“I meant to share this on Sunday but completely forgot. I wanted to brag on the Whataburger in Rowlett. They were short-staffed that morning, but you would have never known it. Every team member was upbeat, incredibly kind, and working together seamlessly — from the sweet young woman who took my order, to the staff handling payments, to the person who brought out my food, and of course those working hard in the kitchen.

I also want to acknowledge the customers in line. Everyone was patient, respectful, and understanding. Not a single negative comment or frustrated look. It was truly refreshing to see, especially in a world where people can be so quick to react negatively.”
