“I was able to order a vegan meal, which is fantastic since I usually can only get random sides when dining out with my non vegan friends. It was wonderful to get a delicious full meal!Vegetarian options: Many dishes can be ordered vegetarian by substituting impossible burger pattie for whatever meat is in the meal. Staff is very helpful.“
“Dead End Trading Post was a pleasant surprise to say the least. Plenty of parking, super laid back atmosphere with amazing food! We had the brisket tacos and potato skins and we were both full. Live music on the weekends! This place is a hidden gem y’all, go check it out!“
“While I was door dashing, I asked Luis (an employee there) how their red velvet cake was. He offered me a free slice just to get me to come back and try their other delicious food! He was very polite and funny. The cake was amazing! The restaurant itself has a fun but relaxed atmosphere! Definitely gonna come back and try more!“
“I’ve been here a few times and I’m never disappointed. They have nice flavors and good chicken. The service may take longer than others but it is definitely worth it. Additionally they have a drive thru making them more convenient than other chicken places.“
“Great location in fort worth. Ordered the smokestack burger and my son had the Phillie cheese steak. Both came out pretty quickly and were very fresh. The burger was juicy! The waitress was very friendly and checked on us quite often despite the place being packed.“
“The food is great. Really really great. The service is impeccable. (Shout out to Letty and Robert) You should go, and spend money, and tip well. These people are killing it. This should continue to be a treasured Ft. Worth Institution. Please take my money, and maybe please put the crawfish etouffee back on the menu?“
“This place is awesome! They've got god knows how many board/card games (literal bookcases filled with them, just like my blood father used to have) and the food was pretty good. I had the grilled chicken sandwich (no sauce, can't handle spicy stuff) with sweet potatoe fries (sweet potatoe fries!) And sweet tea. So that stuff was great at least. The tables are nice and sealed, staff was friendly, general atmosphere/patrons were great, nothing particularly critical to comment on from my end.Date wasn't a fan of her cosmo, but I don't drink so I can't comment on that.Speaking of which, great spot for a date (first or otherwise) as well as a good family spot, just make sure your kids aren't the rowdy type (but isn't that something to keep in mind for everywhere?)They were also cool with you bringing in your own games (we played magic: the gathering personally)Bring your partner, bring your friends, bring your family. Bring your games! It's a great all around spot, and they've even got outside tables if your the sort for that (I don't recommend it if you're playing a game, pieces/cards can get blown away too easily.)Kid-friendliness: Idk about you guys, but I've been playing board and card games since I was a kid, and I would've loved going to this place back then.“
“When in town celebrating our anniversary, we were excited to find info about Taste Project. We loved the 'pay-what-you-can" model and trusted Google reviews. Even if it was just a basic breakfast, sharing breakfast/ brunch here would not be a waste of our time. What we didn't expect is that our brunch at Taste would be the best food we had through a weekend packed with fine dining. Those were good. Taste is GREAT! I spent the next day wondering what is coming out on the new Spring menu and planning our quick return. We had the Breakfast Biscuit and Miso Cod. The biscuit included perhaps the best bacon I've ever tasted - layered in the biscuit with fluffy eggs, cheese and cranberry-pomogranite jam for the incredible balance of savory and sweet. Do not sleep on the breakfast potatoes! They are so crispy and well seasoned. The Miso Cod came with recommendations and did not disappoint. It was sweet, fresh, beautifully presented and turned one in our group from "I don't like fish" to "'That is the best fish I've ever had and may need to add as a disclaimer that 'I don't typically like fish, unless it's from the Taste project!'"Thank you for the wonderful meal and challenging us as we go out to help others"taste and see the Lord is good" (Psalm 34:8).“
“Love all the healthy side options. We need more vegetables and fruit options in our diet. This place has a nice selection of healthy sides. There are too many carbs that have been genetically modified by man. It is making us sick. Eat healthier.“
“I have wanted to eat at this restaurant since learning of it from an Anthony Bourdain show (think it was “No reservations”- but can’t find the episode). It was low key- and my visit was more about sharing an experience with family and homage to an admirable fellow human. The three stars are not a negative reflection of this experience for atmosphere- but a homage to Bourdain - on how he might paint a picture of a low key establishment featuring a dark and western themed corner of the west- sprinkled with a savory dust. The rabbit /rattlesnake sliders - are a “must taste” experience. My oldest son had the elk sliders (appetizers), and finally learned that chewing thoroughly (instead of wolfing) was much more enjoyable (despite taking three orders to fill him).My steak was perfect. No steak has ever been better than my own, but the prime rib being seared was definitely my preference on how the dish was served - and the seasoning used- was unique in that it brought forth and accommodated the essence of the beef.Whether a fan of Bourdain or not- everyone should have a LD experience - and accommodates any other activities might explore at the stockyards.“
“Great food, service, great local town cafe. Very busy on the weekends but we are able to get in and out very quickly. Ordered The Scrambler, it was delicious anecdotes plenty of food for a great price. Definitely would recommend for people to go and have some great homemade breakfast.“
“Had a great time here. The beer tap lines are well maintained and it all tasted cold and fresh. Elisha made our experience a great one. We ordered our burger medium rare but it came out dry. Once we pointed it out, she immediately agreed and had the kitchen remake it and the second burger was fantastic.“
“The best burger I have had in years. The meat is superb and the veggies are great. Everything about the burgers is excellent down to the buns being toasted to perfection. The owners are very friendly.Vegetarian options: They have an ultimate veggie burger.“
“My husband and I have been here about 4 or 5 times now. Each time we have gotten something different. Everything we have gotten has been so good. 2 things stand out for me. 1, the seasoning on everything is the perfect touch, and 2, nothing is greasy! tots and onion rings come out crispy but NOT greasy. The burger I got today was juicy, flavorful, toppings piled on, yet NOT greasy. apart from the great food, the staff are attentive and as sarcastic as us, so a great fit. We will be back again for sure!!“
“I rarely give 5 stars for all three categories, but I really feel I must for Towne Grill. The food was fantastic and I think the meatloaf there is the BEST I have ever had...grilled on the outside and soft on the inside with a lovely muchroom gravy. The steak salad is also very good...amazing actually. FInally, the kids mac and cheese, fried, and the deviled eggs were all delicious too. The place is very comfortable, clean and well laid out. Glad we had our anniversary dinner there!Kid-friendliness: Great kids food!“
“Great seafood. Excellent service. Drink recommendations based on our preferences we're on point. Good oysters. Tartare was great. Crab cake was all crab and so Delicious. Capellini Nero is squid ink pasta with lobster; it was so good and there was so much food we were stuffed. Diver scallops on potato cakes were the best I've ever had!“
“Met a girlfriend here for lunch and we had a ball. The place is really clean, the food is so yummy (even with my restricted diet), and the decor is fab! Make sure you grab the cucumber water from their patioVegetarian options: You get to pick you protein on most things so it's easy to get exactly what you want! And everything is clearly marked if it vegetarian or veganDietary restrictions: They also clearly make their gluten free options which are numerous INCLUDING DESSERT“
“If you’re looking for comfort food and a relaxing/casual dinning experience, then this is the place for you. When you walk through the doors you’re immediately greeted by a display of homemade cakes and pastries. I would highly recommend the red velvet cake. The crystalized sugar, sprinkled on the frosting is DELICIOUS.The portions are large, and well priced. The service was excellent. I found the staff to be very attentive. Seating is done after you place your order, so there is no holding tables. There is plenty of seating available, whether you opt for indoor or outdoor seating. We enjoyed the live music while we ate dinner. I love that this is a family owned restaurant. Bravo, on all your hard work!“
“We hosted a welcome party the night before our wedding for all of our out of town guests and it was a great time! We were able to reserve 8 lanes for our group and had enough room for those that wanted to bowl but also plenty of space for those who did not want to bowl to just relax and eat and drink. We worked with Kelsey for the whole event, who was super helpful and attentive to our many questions and ideas, and the event went off without a hitch. I would strongly recommend anyone hosting an event to work with Bowlounge!“
“Kailey T. was our server and she was absolutely phenomenal! She took such care of our food allergies, making sure to note them on the order and reviewing our food with us personally. She accommodated the many requests of our family of five with grace and ease. She was absolutely amazing to have as a server! We will definitely be back again!“
“GREAT first experience. Kay, our beautiful server was absolutely a joy to be around. She checked on us, made sure our food was perfect, and we got to learn more about her. It’s a small business that DESERVES the hype of authentic southern food (and I know as a born and raised Texas resident)—all recipes are from her family. Will be coming again and bringing a bunch more friends! Shoutout her brother for following his dreams! Killing it.Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly, but also big on helping charities!“
“I really enjoy my burger. Also, it the meal came with fries and a drink. Which is a bonus because most places are starting to do a la carte, and it's making everything expensive. I will be back.Parking: They have a limited amount of parking spots, due to it being attached to a gas station.“
“Slow service... Kind of takes forever for everything. It was our first time here and the entrance is confusing. Also the valet doesn't tell you to validate your parking and neither did our waiter. There was only 3 other tables aside from ours but everything was slow. They bring out Champagne complimentary but we don't drink. Still nice though. I don't think we'll be back, our favorite and usual is capital grille but we were trying to give somewhere else a shot. They also need a dessert menu it's terrible they have to recite even dessert and my the second one you've already forgot what they had. Some of us are visual. Definitely not good business in they sense“
“Extensive menu. Have tried several dishes and they all were pretty good. Today I had smoked salmon Benedict, that was really good. The portions are cutting down a little bit but I don’t have any problem with that. The wait list system is pretty good, they can seat you within 10mins.“
“The place has a nice atmosphere and great service but the prices are a little high and the food isn't at the level of what you pay for. Is it bad? Not at all. The double smash bacon burger was the best of what we ordered. I got the tequila lime chicken and it just tasted like burnt corn. Steak was ordered med rare and came out well done. Service was great.“
“First timers at this diner. What a GEM!! The food, DELICIOUS, The service, ON POINT, The Ambiance, COUNTRY BIKER. The wife had the migas, wow, just like mama used to make. I had the weekend AYCE buffet. ($16.99 adult/$11.99 senior/ $8.99 kids). What a selection, Omelettes anyway you want, Eggs anyway you want, French toast, pancakes (see picture for flavors). And a huge sides station. I had three eggs over medium, bacon, potatoes, toast and pancakes. All for $11.99. I could only do one serving but if you have a huge appetite this place is for you. The food was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was so on point and friendly. Kudos!“
“Very delicious food, good portion for the price paid. If you order chicken regularly, they are at least 4 pieces. The waitress Savannah was very friendly and explained very well. They had no menu, no wifi. However, when I took the food in a bag, I forgot it on the table. When I returned, they had already thrown it away, but the manager gave me a complete meal just as I had ordered, as good as new. I thought it was a very good gesture. I definitely have one more place to visit more often.“
“The most consistent restaurant in Roanoke. The staff is always professional and continues to provide great service. The wings are phenomenal. Have chose to come here for birthdays, game day, late night dinner, etc. and have never been let down.“
“They did a magnificent job transforming this location from the "Snooty Pig". It is decorated like a 4-star plus restaurant you'd see in a nice area in a big city. We were there at dinner time on a Friday night. It was very slow, surprisingly. If it was in a different location, the bar would be full of people! We had a family of 5 eat two appetizers, the spinach-artichoke dip and the clams. They were both amazing. I used all the bread and ordered more just to soak up the juices and sauce. We thought they were just a bit overpriced by about $2-$3 each. We ordered the Ribeye, the Sirloin, and the Seafood Pasta. It was all very good. My only issue was pricing. The location and average pricing compared to other restaurants of the same caliber makes me believe they are slightly higher priced by $4-$6 per main dish. My daughter got the chicken strips. They were so huge and of great quality. The sweet tea was refreshing. However, it had a weird after taste. The wait staff were good, especially when we had to send the sirloin back because it wasn't medium. It came out very "blue". They recooked it perfectly. We will definitely be back when we have a little higher budget and want good food!“
“Little pub food for us to have at a place new to us…. and so close by. She had the Philly Cheesesteak with truffle fries and I had the Fish and Chips. Nice place, great food and super friendly staff. Don't let the price I listed per person throw you off - wife and I had a couple of rounds along with the good food.“
“I’m visiting from London Ontario Canada area. This place is great. I had the bone-in pork chop and it was perfect. I don’t eat vegetables but I’m sure they were great too.I grace to talk aboot the service though eh?Our server Autumn was amazing. She was thorough, friendly, she presented the food very well and when she brought out our desserts she laid on the “southern belle” accent very thick for us Canadians.Overall an amazing experience, fantastic food and the service is next level.“
“We dined here for the first time before a concert at Dickie's arena and thought it was one of the very best meals we have ever had. The hospitality was on point from the moment we arrived. The restaurant is cozy and inviting. Because we knew we were going to indulge in dessert, we didn't order starters, but fully enjoyed the complimentary basket of fresh-baked muffins and bread. I decided on the carne asada with enchiladas for dinner and my husband couldn't resist ordering the chicken fried steak. Bring your appetite, because the portion sizes are huge! The food is absolutely delicious! Ordering from the dessert tray wasn't easy because everything looked amazing and our server's descriptions made our mouth's water. I ordered the West Texas pecan pie and my husband had the banana pudding. Both were out of this world! Definitely save room for dessert. You won't be disappointed!“
“Ate here last night!! Food was excellent we had a burger, deep fried rib eye and steak salad in our party . All was cooked to perfection!! The rolls are to dies for and the ambience is excellent. Perfect for an anniversary or family celebration!!!!“
“Very fun atmosphere. I'm not a beer drinker, but my waitress gave me a taster of three different types, and I didn't hate any of them. The decor is really fun and provides plenty of material for discussion at the table. I think it'd be a great place for a first date so you don't have to worry about awkward silences. Food was yummy, too!“
“Quaint & homely family restaurant, extremely friendly and attentive staff, good food. Went out of their way to ensure our experience was exceptional. Highly recommended .Parking: Clean parking lot with wide spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy to get in and out“
“Cute decor, welcoming atmosphere and great customer service! Bartender Sydney made greater suggestions to accommodate my citrus allergy. Gave four stars instead of five just because they don't offer Apple martinis which are my favorite! Other than that great place for Saturday afternoon hangout!“
“We went to The Post at River East to see Davy Knowles. The venue was intimate for an impressive acoustic set. (We've seen Knowles the last three times he's been in DFW, and the acoustic show was our favorite.) Service was especially good -- warm, welcoming, and attentive. The food good; we only had a Pinot to drink, but it was more than respectable. A great evening! Thank you!!“
“Reed was the best very knowledgeable about the menu n drinks n friendly service n he went beyond the call of duty give the man a raise n they got the crispy hash browns right the first time that only happened one other time at waffle house in Mansfield thanks Reed I will be asking for u every time6 stars reed.“
“This popular neighborhood gem has become our favorite restaurant. The menu is diverse and very affordable. Seafood selections are always fresh and prepared with an exquisite taste. The chicken fried steak is enormous and can be shared easily. The servers are all very personable and very efficient. Avoid being a walk-up as it’s a highly popular restaurant. I strongly recommend reservations.“
“Came in from Denton to check it out. Miracle was my bartender she was phenomenal! She was kind help me figure out what I wanted to drink. Very attentive to all people at the bar. The only downside of this bar is that there is no food being served. Even bringing in a food truck would change everything. The bar is super clean. The seating is really nice. Literally my only minor complaint is the lack of food“
“My wife and I had our anniversary dinner here last night, and I couldn't have been more pleased all around. We shared Beef Carpaccio for an appetizer. She ordered the Kiwi to My Heart tequila cocktail, and I ordered the Cherry on Top rye whiskey cocktail. She chose the Bacon Wrapped Quail, and I chose the 12 oz filet mignon. The drinks were unique and delicious, and the meals were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Summer was our server, and her attitude and energy were both amazing. I recommend reserving a table around sunset because the view you can get from the 12th floor patio is a serious Ft Worth secret gem. The restaurant is located in the Frost Bank high rise on 6th street. To get to Branch and Bird, use the Frost Bank main entrance. Head to the elevators and find the touch screen to select "Branch and Bird." The restaurant entrance is straight off of the elevator from there. 10/10 would recommend.“
“Listen I do not write a ton of reviews but this one !! Well off the charts. The enchilada stack was the bomb and Grilled pimento was off the charts. Oh and the people well down to earth very helpful and extremely friendly. We have penciled this in as one of our regular Sunday brunch stops.Keep rocking home town everyone. !!!!“
“We love CCG! It has a cheers atmosphere and we love sitting at the bar and meeting new people. The staff is fabulous especially Loren, Ariel and Scott and Hunter. I feel bad because we have been going there for 14 years and I'm just now writing a review! CCG has 5 stars for us! Come check it out!“
“This place completely surprised us at just how cool it is! We decided to give it a shot and stop in for a couple drinks on a Sunday evening after dinner to check it out. Wasn't sure about it looking at the outside, but decided to go in anyway. We're totally glad we did. Bartender was incredible and patrons were exceptional. Great prices and really cool, laid back atmosphere. Want to go back on a Friday or Saturday to check out the live music. Go give it a shot, you'll be surprised!“
“Always ask about the daily specials! This past Saturday I had the blueberry french toast and it was amazing! Doesn't even need syrup; just dig into this berry load breakfast and enjoy the delicious ride! If you want great food at a fair price, this is your breakfast place to be!“
“This little cafe in Roanoke is just fantastic. The food was amazing and made quick and the staff was friendly like family. The biscuits were truly delicious and the has was top notch. I would recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely be returning here soon.“
“We're not big beer drinkers but we love ciders and Wild T. It's a hard tea but this is the only bar in our area that serves it. The food is super delicious! The chicken strips are 100% legit chicken breast. Way better than any restaurant. We've been there when there's been a Christmas costume contest, chili cook-off and they've had vendors there where we've bought a ton of stuff including jewelry and art. There's always something going on there but still we go back for the drinks, yummy food, friendly servers and great atmosphere.“
“I love this bar, the people and the atmosphere. It's right by my work and a great place to go for a drink and unwind and play a game of pool. The service is awesome, especially the bartender Luda. Easily my favorite bar and amazing food! ?“
“Awesome local bar with a great staff and a fantastic patio with sunset views, fairly priced and they serve food pretty late which is rare in this neighborhood. They offer all the bar stuff during the week, karaoke, poker, etc. Not the spot if your looking for something fancy, but a great place for a cold beer and a shot with nice people and a great view“
“I asked for some tender star bones and they brought them to me well sewn, I told the waitress and without saying a word she exchanged them for me. That's service. The waitresses are also very kind and friendly. Very tasty, good atmosphere, clean and fast ?.Thank youParking: Big and spacious, no problemKid-friendliness: I don't see it as suitable for children, since there is no place for them to run or play, but ooo, they are going to love the waffles. Delicious!“
