“Great staff. I think need additional variety of appetizers. Personally I didn't care for a couple items chosen with a party of 4. The grilled artichoke hearts, and stuffed lump crab/shrimp mushrooms were not my favorites. Flatbreads always great.“

“Short review. First time visiting any location but had searched the one downtown. This was closer and open so was an easy choice! Arrived around 11pm after leaving Six Flags (Fall Festival). Got seated immediately with a party of four. Of course the Magic City Classic was playing so I was locked in (HBCU supporter here). They hit us with a round of waters, menus and we immediately got the German pretzel for an appetizer. We had an idea of what we wanted which were tacos, a burger or sandwich and nachos. All the items came out quickly, hot, well seasoned, well presented and the price for all four meals with two appetizers was under $100! I can attribute that to declining adult beverages this time but maybe the next trip, because this is a must return! Didn’t want to take pictures of other folks food but they all looked good (Korean Cheesesteak, chicken nachos, spicy edamames, and carne asada tacos) and everyone enjoyed.“

“My husband has been going through chemo and radiation for cancer and beef tastes dirty to him. I ate at your restaurant this week for the first time and I told him your cheeseburger was the best I had ever eaten so we went there for lunch today. You were very accommodating as neither of us can eat a lot of food. We ordered the cheeseburger to split and asked if we could share a cup of poblano soup. Again. No problem. His first bite of your hamburger and he said Praise God. This is great. And he loved the soup also. He was so greatful for food that tasted perfect to him. Thank you for being a restaurant that works with customers needs. We will be back“

“Guess it was busy because even the hostess was helping the wait staff get items for customers. Only waited a minute for our Sunday reservation. It was half full at 5 so plenty of room. Russ was our waiter a cool guy and on point when we needed him. Would've liked him to ask a few more probing questions or toss or some recommendations since it was our first time there. Probably would've spent a little more on appetizer or another drink. And that first house special was great. Cougar bait. Lol everyone enjoyed their meals and the portions were perfect not too much that we were stuffed, not too little that we were scraping plates. Had room for dessert afterwards which is a pleasant bonus. I didn't like that the doors remained open the entire time because the gnats and mosquitos kept interrupting our conversations and enjoyment of the meal. Wasn't sure if the gnats were from the bar or from the outside and I tried not to dwell on it.“

“Great menu, everything we had was good. Got the Rancher's Feast for a birthday. Service was great, decor for Christmas was really well done. Felt like a Texas Christmas. My only gripe was the inconsistency in drink flavor/taste. We had a large group and our drinks did not taste the same twice and from previous visits, the same drinks did not taste the same. We sent back a few due to poor execution.“

“The food was gooood!! I have visited multiple yard House locations..food is almost the same everywhere. The pepperoni on the pizza were a bit soggy but rest all is good. The scorched melon mocktail is really good if you like to drink something sweet and non alcoholic. I didnt like the chocolava though...it was overbaked so it was like more cake and less lava.“

“We hosted a Celebration of Life at BJ's Brewhouse, Hwy 281 N. Could not have been more satisfied with the atmosphere, service, and especially the food. There were 80 of us with the Pizza and Salad Buffet. EVERYBODY there remarked how wonderful how wonderful the pizza and service were. I've heard terms like "never had pizza this good", "the service was excellent", "wonderful place." I highly recommend this particular location for events. EXCELLENT.“

“I had a lovely experience dining in by myself at this establishment. I had their “Feed Me” special, which is a 6 course hike: a volume heavy, rich, savory, journey. The hostess was very active throughout the night, saw her running food, bussing tables, she watered my glass, and got me fresh silverware on one of my courses. All front of house staff were kind, knowledgeable, engaging, and active, the chef also greeted, and engaged with guests as they arrived/left. Very pleasant dining experience, real professionals that hit the mark well. Good pacing on coursing, fresh everything always, good wine, great food, comfortable experience, I'd come back again while in town in a heartbeat. The only thing I'd say is that mushroom salad with the pomegranates at the start was killer. The tart when it shined through to ride along that fresh Parmesan funk was a real treat, I almost wish a similar tart or acidity came back with the broccolini/pork dish to help prepare for the rest of the battle! All-in-all though each dish was killer, hope I can visit again!“

Fish and chips Taco & Smashburger - 5 stars generous portion of fish. Smashburger was the favorite for the guys both wished they had gotten 2.
Steak taco and smashburger - The Distinct Palate Kid loved them!

The vibe is funky, casual, and energetic - perfect for a casual bite with the family or late-night bite. The bold personality can be found in the eclectic art and music in the background. The service was fast and friendly. The staff was helpful and accommodating with one of my custom orders.“

Johanna was our waitress and she was so beautiful & lovely to speak with! The owners, Peggy & Paul, were gracious & felt like family. “K the cook is awesome makes his own recipes. I tried grilled chicken salad I really don’t eat those green lettuce with red streaks. But it is paired quite well the flat bed is awesome prosciutto and balsamic is freaking good!!!I would recommend it. The salad I had I am trying to be healthy. lol but beer!! Hahaha well I tried . “I had such a great experience at Cappyccino’s. We started with the Burrata, which came with heirloom tomatoes, pita-style chips, pesto, mozzarella, and balsamic glaze. Everything tasted incredibly fresh — the tomatoes were juicy, the pesto had a perfect little zing to it, and all the flavors and textures together were just amazing.

We also ordered the Angus burger with chips, and wow — the meat was cooked perfectly, super juicy, and full of flavor. The bun was fresh, and everything about that burger hit the spot.

I tried the Reuben sandwich next, which came on a hearty rye bread with a house salad. I did have to take a couple bites while in the car! The sandwich was thick, flavorful, and so filling that I could only finish half! Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced.

For dessert, we went with the vanilla bean pudding, and oh my goodness — it was to die for. The vanilla flavor was pure and rich, the texture was thick and creamy, and the caramel sauce on top tied it all together beautifully. I even tried heating it up just out of curiosity, but it’s definitely best served cold and shareable (perfect for 2–3 people).

Overall, everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“I found this place by browsing places on Google. I decided to stop in with my retired mom. She is older and is always looking for healthier options. We ordered a tuna sandwich and a chicken salad sandwich. It comes with house chips. They aren't flavored or salted or peppered. They are bland. I did notice that even for the hamburger they do not offer fries. There is a substitution charge of 1.75 to upgrade, so keep that in mind. I may try fries next time. Service was slow as it was lunch time and there were a lot of people waiting for their food as we sat down. The place cleared out and the staff came to clear the plates. Overall it was a good experience. We may return again and try some other items.“

“we got married yesterday and decided to go to boiler House for our dinner. We made the reservation a day in advance although I don't think we had to. There were a total of four of us there so we were easily sat, and they even had our table ready. Our server's name was Jasmine and she was very helpful with any questions we had. The staff was so warm and welcoming, both congratulating us and writing us a hand written card. The management even gave us three small appetizers on the house to congratulate us on our wedding. Everything was exquisite from beginning to end. They combined flavors that you don't find anywhere else. They gave us a complimentary dessert as well. Naturally we chose the white chocolate bread pudding. It was without a doubt the best bread pudding I've ever had and we ate every last bite even though we were full. The service alone is reason we will be back, but we can't wait to see what deliciousness they will dream up next.“
