“It was a hot Sunday. I was starving. While shopping at a nearby consignment store I absolutely had to stop to eat. I went to Mash’d expecting boring burgers, wings and fries and instead was pleasantly surprised. The brunch menu was somewhat small and limited, but the food had a twist and there were some healthy options. I tried the AM Swole Bowl. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. They knocked it out the ball park!!! First of all it’s huge (swole) and lavish. The turmeric gave the quinoa a curry flavor. The kale was subdued by the tangy yogurt. The sweet potatoes and avocado left me feeling content sort of like how you feel after having a generous slather of butter on toast. And who knew grapes could work with a boiled egg?!? The combination was surprising yummy!…and the cocktail (the cougar) didn't hurt.“

I was surprised when the HALF sandwich was served cold. I probably didn't pay close attention to the menu. Disappointed when I was served a Cup of soup.

“It's a loud environment, between music videos and people talking. But it's not unpleasant. The server was very friendly and checked on us often, without being intrusive. The smoked old fashioned was quite tasty. I also liked the cheese steak sandwich.“

Both of us were in heaven over the butter cake. I loved the arugula salad , which was dressed JUST right. The wine selections were perfect. “We hosted a Celebration of Life at BJ's Brewhouse, Hwy 281 N. Could not have been more satisfied with the atmosphere, service, and especially the food. There were 80 of us with the Pizza and Salad Buffet. EVERYBODY there remarked how wonderful how wonderful the pizza and service were. I've heard terms like "never had pizza this good", "the service was excellent", "wonderful place." I highly recommend this particular location for events. EXCELLENT.“

“Exceptionally long wait time between ordering and being served the entree. The Wagyu I came for was about as good as if I had gone and bought it and prepared it myself. The lighting is so damn dark where they sat us I could barely see the meal. Underwhelmed overall. Wait staff seemed to be in a hurry and never bothered to give us their name. I’d rather buy my own steak and prepare it at home where I can have some decent lighting and see my date.“

“Vegetarians know, San Antonio restaurants generally aren’t great at making clear what our options are on their menus. I appreciated that Velvet Taco not only had veggie options clearly marked, they had multiple options and a couple of tasty ones at that! I had all 3 of the veg tacos and really liked both the cauliflower and paneer ones. Tofu one left something to be desired. Service was pretty slow, too. There was almost no one in there. The gal at the counter was nice, but my food took quite a bit longer than I expected. ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯“

This is a good place for a weekday brunch or lunch. We stopped by and had the Chicken Salad Sandwich and the Turkey Cobb Sandwich – both were solid choices at $15 each. The food overall is really good. They have sandwiches, burgers, and salads. Plenty of options, but the menu stays simple, which I appreciate.

They also have a nice selection of regional draft beers, heads up though: they’re only 14 oz, not pints, and they cost $8 each.

Service was decent, nothing over the top but no complaints either. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and want good, straightforward food“

“Went there for lunch while in town and had a real nice, clean and crisp Moutain Man. They had 12 or 13 beers on tap so there is a nice variety. Enjoyed the grilled cheese. Showed up piping hot. Love the military themed decor and overall vibe. Will visit again when back in San Antonio. One of the best craft breweries in San Antonio, Tx.“

“First time going to this SILO. Have been to the one on I 10 and the roof top one. This one is a little different. Upscale atmosphere above another restaurant you can look down into if you r table is on the side. The night we went, was quiet. Service was very good. Food was excellent. We stuck to sharing small plates. Very much enjoyed the fig salad, mussels (sauce is great for dipping bread in), shrimp ala Plancha, and lamb lollipops. Were a little disappointed no raw oyster bar but will still worth going to.“

“Picnikins is one of my favorite lunch spots! The Orchard sandwich—made with turkey, crisp apple slices, and creamy brie—is absolutely delicious and perfectly balanced. The ingredients are always fresh, the service is consistently good, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!“

“A gem along the Riverwalk! My server was Genaro; he was very attentive. I had the off-menu (that night) salmon spread - delish! And crab dumplings - YUM!
