“If you’re looking for the best wine in downtown San Antonio, look no further! The staff and owner are super knowledgeable, and the wine speaks for itself. DELICIOIS! Plus, the charcuterie and bites are tasty. It’s definitely one of my favorite places downtown and I will be back time and time again!“

“I travel often and always choose Vino Volo because of the excellent customer service I receive each and every time. They remember my favorites and go above and beyond. I recently heard they are considering closing this location due to “changes” within the terminal. I hope this is not the case“

“I love this place because they have such a great wine selection and the folks that work there knows so much including of course the owner. I have probably bought 2 to 3 bottles when I’ve gone and have been able to enjoy every single one of those bottles of wine. Even early in the morning my daughter and I will go in for coffee and a little pastry before we head out to our next location and come back For wine later on in the day. It’s small but intimate and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.“

“This place is amazing! I went with a group so I was able to try a lot of things on the menu and everything I had was top notch! Great selection of wines and beers. Fun environment that’s fancy enough for a date but chill enough to bring kids. Loved everything about the place!“

“Went to dinner before the Tobin show. New fall menu. The buttternut squash soup was delicious 😋 and served hot. Unfortunately the quinoa harvest salad with roasted beets, butternut squash, pepitas, and goat cheese was only greens…. Minus the other listed ingredients. Our waitress Brook was notified and said the cook staff that made the salad broke up with his girlfriend and sad! 😔 well we were sad and disappointed ☹️ and no compensation offered. The chicken Caesar salad was delicious. 😋 Hopefully no one else will get the same poor quality fall salad ! Beware ! 👻 trick or treat???!!!“

“I had a lovely experience dining in by myself at this establishment. I had their “Feed Me” special, which is a 6 course hike: a volume heavy, rich, savory, journey. The hostess was very active throughout the night, saw her running food, bussing tables, she watered my glass, and got me fresh silverware on one of my courses. All front of house staff were kind, knowledgeable, engaging, and active, the chef also greeted, and engaged with guests as they arrived/left. Very pleasant dining experience, real professionals that hit the mark well. Good pacing on coursing, fresh everything always, good wine, great food, comfortable experience, I'd come back again while in town in a heartbeat. The only thing I'd say is that mushroom salad with the pomegranates at the start was killer. The tart when it shined through to ride along that fresh Parmesan funk was a real treat, I almost wish a similar tart or acidity came back with the broccolini/pork dish to help prepare for the rest of the battle! All-in-all though each dish was killer, hope I can visit again!“

“My daughter and I had a great experience there this morning. We ordered a Chai tea and a Cortado. Upon tasting my Cortado, I realized that it was not only the best ever, but that I had to post immediately the wonderful taste and presentation. Not all coffee shops are this great. Shotgun House Rasters is a must visit on the Westside.“

“Great staff. I think need additional variety of appetizers. Personally I didn't care for a couple items chosen with a party of 4. The grilled artichoke hearts, and stuffed lump crab/shrimp mushrooms were not my favorites. Flatbreads always great.“

“We highly recommend this fabulous restaurant. I began going here just after they opened many years ago and have consistently had a delightful experience there. The service is superb, the food is delicious and the wine selection is excellent, and at a reasonable price! Their Happy Hour is one of the best in town! Don’t miss it!“
“Visited this area on September 27. Parking is always plentiful. There are a few reputable restaurants in this shopping center - Milano's, Tacos-n-Salsa, etc.
I always have a good experience when visiting this area to dine.“

“Great location for Drinks and Live Music!“
“This was our first time to this eatery when we stopped in for lunch. It is located at the corner of Huebner Rd. and Churchill Estates Blvd. So easy to find and parking was not an issue. We were greeted immediately by a very talkative lady who steered us towards the specials of the day that were posted on the black board at the entrance for $11.99. You go through a buffet type order line with desserts, salads, paninis, pizzas and such. She proceeded to show us the large assortment of pizzas offered, which was a good variety of choices and all looked scrumptious. The salad offerings include tossed, veggie, and pasta variations. Since we had a Groupon, we could not purchase the specials so ordered off of the regular menu. We had the Chicken Piccata ($17), a house salad ($1.99 as add on) and came with bread. It was very much enjoyed with the chicken, spaghetti and sauce just right. The salad was a good side serving and the bread was deliciously warm, buttery and soooo good served with a balsamic and oil dip. We were so overwhelmed we actually forgot to order for the other person. But we shared the meal and made for a nice lite lunch. There were no customers when we arrived for an early lunch but it got steadily busier by the time we left but still plenty of table seating. The place was clean and the décor nice. They have a few tables outside. We will definitely need to return, when in the area, to try the pizza and other offerings.“

“The Historic Pearl's Food Hall at Bottling, otherwise known as the Bottling Department Food Hall, which includes Park Bar, is an excellent space to grab a drink + take a break from the Texas heat as you are exploring the Pearl! :-) The space is really beautifully curated, and there is lots of seating!! Pearl's Food Hall, generally, is very clean & well-kept, making it all the more inviting!
My first visit to Park Bar occurred on a Monday afternoon (during a holiday) with my boyfriend, and we had no trouble getting a table after placing our drink orders. They have a variety of options at Park Bar (e.g. my boyfriend ordered a lager, and I kept it simple with a fountain soda). I'm looking forward to returning to try some of their cocktails + seasonal offerings!“

“Had an early dinner (5pm) and dined inside on a Tuesday. We wanted to beat any dinner rush that may have shown up. This was my first visit, and with the food they offered, I’d expect they’d have lots of people rushing there for dinner. I had the Pad Thai, which was excellent, but can we talk about their guacamole salad starter?!?! So it’s a bowl of guac with homemade chips and sides of pico (which for me was better than any pico I’d ever had before), a second pico-like concoction made with mango (I was blown away by how delicious it was), and a red salsa (which seemed like a blend of spicy and sweet….so good). Let me put it this way, it’s 11:00pm, I’m getting into bed and I’m still thinking of the food at Pam’s Patio Kitchen. The staff was super nice as well. This hidden little gem really left an impression on me! Can’t wait to go back!“

“Star of the menu is burrata, even though burrata is Puglian, not Napolitano. But it is delicious. We got the three ball sampler, as well as the Margherita pizza. Doesn’t sound like much, but it will make three meals for both of us. Ridiculously yummy.“

“Frank was an awesome server. They catered well to our first experience and my sons 18th. We had steak with Diablo’s shrimp and seared scallops. Shared sides of crusted Brussel sprouts and lobster mash. Dessert was olive oil cake and crème brûlée.“

“Oh, man! This place is delicious. I try to live a somewhat low carb lifestyle and SoFrio offers some delicious options. I had the pleasure to indulge in their 10oz sirloin topped with garlic roasted mushrooms and a side of asparagus. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. I'm a cook myself so I don't say this lightly. However, when I want to eat clean carbs SoFrio also offers amazing options in that department as well; the Buddha Bowl comes to mind. Wow! It's amazing and lays siege upon your taste buds in an explosion of flavors. It's delicious and the best part? It's light, but not too light to be unfulfilled and not too heavy to leave you unfuctional or lethargic. I also had the pleasure to try the Brussels. I know many people aren't fans of these little cruciferous vegetables, but SoFrio's will change your mind. I couldn't believe they were Brussels. They were roasted superbly with sweet and smokey notes from the cashews that are also an integral ingredient to this tasty side. Yes, SoFrio is located within the Double Tree in downtown San Antonio. Yes, it's open to the public and I hope more people find this gem of a place. I'm personally looking forward to eating here again. The staff is also ace! Very attentive and friendly. Go to SoFrio!“

“Used this spot as a place to meet an old friend and had the opportunity to sit at the bar while I waited. The bartender makes an excellent margarita and she was very pleasant. Later, our entrees were quite good and well presented. I'm a lifelong Texan and have had- many- plates of the varieties of Mexican cuisine available throughout the state. I mention that to let the reader know the food here is a good example of traditional recipes instead of the more trendy offerings elsewhere. I would definitely go back.“

“Southtown 101 cool spot at the corner of Peridad and Presa. We stopped by for food and the drinks. There is plenty of parking around the building or off the street. We got there and this sweet car was outside! They did have a screen up and the NBA finals game on. They have plenty of inside and outside seating. But the food hit the spot! Really good flavor and a good amount of options. We ordered crispy chicken sandwich, wings, loaded fries, bacon wrapped jalapeños egg rolls, and friend pickles. Everything on the menu was a hit! Best part was the kitchen was open till 1am. Next up was the bar! They had good drink specials. We had $5 a you call liquor drinks. We had ranch waters and miller lites. Bill was not expensive at all. Staff was great! Bar was clean. After the game ended the party started with Karaoke. My wife and our friends sang and the DJ was cool. He had a good set up and we all had a good time. Karaoke on Thursday at Southtown 101 is where it’s at.“

“Javier's service was incredible. The drinks, seafood tower and dessert were fantastic. My wifes's well done filet was perfect, it was juicy and delicious. On the other hand, my Medium Rare filet was tough and dried out like jerkey on the outside and still blue in the middle. It wasn't juicy at all. I ate it because I didn't want to be difficult and have to wait for another steak. We've eaten at RC for decades and it's always been good, last night must have been a fluke.“

“we got married yesterday and decided to go to boiler House for our dinner. We made the reservation a day in advance although I don't think we had to. There were a total of four of us there so we were easily sat, and they even had our table ready. Our server's name was Jasmine and she was very helpful with any questions we had. The staff was so warm and welcoming, both congratulating us and writing us a hand written card. The management even gave us three small appetizers on the house to congratulate us on our wedding. Everything was exquisite from beginning to end. They combined flavors that you don't find anywhere else. They gave us a complimentary dessert as well. Naturally we chose the white chocolate bread pudding. It was without a doubt the best bread pudding I've ever had and we ate every last bite even though we were full. The service alone is reason we will be back, but we can't wait to see what deliciousness they will dream up next.“

“I was in town for a conference and had the pleasure of hearing the Alamo Allstars—they are absolutely phenomenal! Such an amazing jazz band that made the night unforgettable. We were served by Chloe, who was personable, friendly, and incredibly attentive.
This restaurant is a hidden gem—not only is it right on the River Walk, but it also has a cigar deck upstairs with comfortable seating. Maybe one day they’ll even add TVs for sports, which would make it perfect. Between the music, the atmosphere, and the service, you will not be disappointed“

“Absolutely outstanding service from Noemi!
From the moment we sat down, Noemi made our experience at Postino unforgettable. She was warm, attentive, and had the perfect mix of professionalism and personality — the kind of server who makes you feel like an old friend. Every recommendation she gave hit the mark, from the drinks to the bruschetta board, and she somehow kept our table laughing while still being on top of every detail.
It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely loves what they do, but Noemi shines at it. If you visit Postino, ask for her — you’ll see exactly why she deserves all the praise she gets.“
