You "order ahead" and give them a "pickup time", so it's not that they should not have it ready for you, especially due to the inconvenience of that blasted On-Line stuff. I had to wait an additional 15minutes past my pick up time, and I showed up 5 minutes early ; thus I sat there for 20 minutes and they did not appear that busy. Maybe the Management is understaffing ?“

“I've been many times but as a diabetic it's not very often. The food is always delicious and the people there very friendly. If language is a little bit of a barrier, have patience the ladies will work to get you exactly what you want. Their customer service is great! Their ice cream is absolutely one of the best in the area, They actually own an ice cream manufacturing place in Dallas and supply a lot of mobile ice cream guys and fruiterias around Dallas. They make quality ice cream and it's delicious because they use ingredients that make it so great, you will taste the difference!“

My go to is the Dole crushed pineapple just like you get in Hawaii. I've been there to the actual Dole plantation and had it locally. Definitely worth a try.“

“A beautiful little ice cream shop off Belt Line Road. Seating is extremely limited, but the service is excellent. In addition to Mexican traditions such as raspados (snow cones) and licuados (similar to a smoothie), you can still find most of your favorite ice creams, made by Blue Bell. My chocolate shake was perfect, a good size for a medium, and made with three generous scoops of chocolate.

Now, this doesn't mean they're perfect. Leaving aside that the staff speak very little English (phone translation apps are your friend), the prices are at least twice what you'd pay at Braums. But for an occasional indulgence with great local flavor (and a side in nachos and elotes), they're terrific!“

“i brought my grandkids to La chapulita to get some ice cream, they have 47 plus varieties of flavors to chose from, the grandkids chose the chocolate flavor ice cream in a waffle cone and also in cups for the younger grandkids.I chose to try the Lime sherbet ice cream in a waffle cone, after the first taste i was so amazed at the great flavor, it is the best homemade ice cream I have ever tasted! The store also has ice cream pops and fresh fruit plates , milk shakes, Elotes (corn in a cup Mexican recipe ) aguas de frutas frescas(fresh fruit drinks) & there is quite a variety of item's available to eat on their menu. “The coolest part of this sonic is the car hops on skates, you don't see this much anymore. Service has been very fast the few times I've come here. Their downfall is sometimes they don't have certain slushie flavors available and as others have said, they're pretty stingy with food. I ordered tots and they weren't completely full...I'm used to having the little tot holder full with a couple in the bottom of the bag. But, what they lack in filling up your food, they make up for in fast and friendly service.“
