“As always-Absolutely delicious! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served. The tacos were packed with great ingredients, but the real standout was the queso (first time trying it) — it was basically liquid gold. Creamy, rich, and just the right amount of spice without being too much. So good it will now become an addition to my regular order ( beef chimichuri , chicken tikka & guacamole)! The service was also excellent, friendly, attentive, and helpful. We really appreciated the recommendation to try the queso because it ended up being one of the best parts of the meal. Great food, great service, and definitely a place worth coming back to!“

“We went to Wildwood hoping for a really good chicken fried steak, and boy were we disappointed. First of all it was extremely noisy especially for 2:00 on a Sunday. But hoping for the best we stayed and decided to try to spinach artichoke dip. It comes out looking almost like a French onion soup, the top covered with cheese and looks great! However we would have been better off opening a tub from Sam's Club as the one at this restaurant had no flavor whatsoever, you couldn't even make out what it was. We were hungry so we ate it. Next our meals come out. The chicken fried steak was huge, well plated, and looked amazing! Too bad that was as good as it got. It was tender, yet absolutely no flavor at all. My hubby had to drench it in salt & pepper and tobasco to give it any taste. I tried a piece and was extremely disappointed. My meal, the Atlantic Salmon was cooked to my specifications which was a pleasant surprise. Yet it appears the chef counts on the grill to contribute all flavor instead of any seasoning. The basmati rice was nothing more than what I could have prepared at home in a steamer, and as for the jicama slaw, which I was looking forward to trying was unimpressive. Fortunately a small part of the bowl had a smidgen of tomatilla sauce which I used to give the food a little flavor....not much but something. Overall, we spent $61.00 on food that would have been better almost anywhere else at a fraction of the cost. Not worth it, sorely disappointed and will not return. The one thing that is a positive about the restaurant is the staff. Service was excellent. Not impressed at all.“

These young people were very friendly to all customers both in person and on the telephone. They were busy about their task at hand. I never saw them cutting up or just standing around. They were all working. I want to give a special compliment to Joseph our waiter who checked on us several times throughout our meal even though it was crowded. He was very kind and respectful.And also to Caitlin or Kaylan who took my phone order. She was very friendly and helpful. If you have the funds I think these young people deserve a reward of some kind. Thank you for hiring and training your employees to treat customers in the way they would like to be treated. “When I travel I like to find local spots to eat rather than the chain places. I picked out the Ballard Street Cafe because it looked like an older place in an old downtown spot. I was not disappointed as it was exactly what I thought with exposed brick, wood floors, and a 50’s style lunch counter. In addition there were several tables and the required set of local characters sharing breakfast and gossip over coffee. The waitstaff was attentive and polite, and made you feel right at home. To complete the experience, I have to talk about the food. I ordered a 2 egg breakfast with chicken fried steak. It also came with choice of hash browns or grits and b&g, toast, or a pancake. I chose the b&g and grits. First off, the chicken fry was obviously hand breaded and cooked perfectly. They gave me a knife but it was fork tender. The grits were hearty and flavorful. The side of b&g came with TWO homemade biscuits and cream gravy. Everything was awesome! I ended up taking half my steak and the b&g home for a second meal. Getting ALL this with coffee for about $15 with tax almost felt criminal. If you’re ever in Wylie, do yourself a favor and check them out!“

“it's a small diner but was very comfortable. our waitress was very helpful and nice, attentive without being a bother breakfast was delicious. my husband had a veggie omelette packed full of yummy things. I had a fried pork chop and eggs. we enjoyed every bite it was well worth it. we found this just by looking online. glad we went there. if we ever come back this way we would go again.“

We got the Galbi bento box (the beef was soooooo well seasoned and tender) and a seafood ramen! There is a spicy and non spicy! Please do yourself a favor and come here.“

“My first dish there was earlier this year it was amazing the owner husband prepared it, I returned on December 23,2024 an it was unsatisfied. The pork cheeks were burnt ,pasta was very adente. Well the owner wife had it remade same problem. Now it's not my favorite dish anymore.“
