“While stopping for gas, I noticed this restaurant and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. I ordered the orange chicken, and both the flavor and portion size exceeded expectations. Although the dish is traditionally spicy, it seemed to cater to a milder American palate—but a touch of sriracha easily elevated the heat. The meal was delicious, and the lunch pricing was quite reasonable. I will definitely be returning soon.“

“I love Angelica H, she made our experience amazing. She truly wanted us to experience the best and freshest food. She’s a girls girl. I really appreciate it, her act of consideration towards us really made my day better especially after the long day I had at work & I came in here kinda hangry. 💗🤝🏽“

“Celebrating my birthday month and I was in the mood for some Lettuce Wraps and PF Chang's is my go to for those! Plus we were able to get the wraps and Margaritas on the Happy Hour Menu with it's $10 appetizers & $5 drinks! Our server, John was pleasant and very helpful! I tried the Orange Chicken and it was a bit sweet for me, but it was good. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Beef and Broccoli! We'll definitely be back.“

“You know it’s good Chinese food when most customers are Chinese!!!
We went on a weekday for dinner and there were plenty of seats but it soon started filling up.
What we ordered:
- grilled egg plant - I could eat two plates of these!
- grilled bun
- lamb skewers
- grilled whole corn
They were all cooked very well with plenty of seasoning, and as someone who grew up in Beijing and ate a lot of skewers, these are legit! The only complaint would be that there were some fascia in the lamb skewers, but it was still pretty good. Very attentive staffs as well. Their other dishes looked great as well. Will come back!
Note, you might want to ask for it to be extra spicy if you’re used to having them“

“Was there for a weekday lunch with my aunt. We enjoyed every dish we tried. The tempura shrimp was battered and fried perfectly. The Philadelphia sushi roll was delicious. The beef broccoli lunch special was seasoned well, with good flavor. The steamed dumplings were superb. The service was quick and attentive. They also offer takeout. I will definitely return to try more dishes.“

“New favorite place! The food was flavorful and filling. Everything came out of the kitchen steaming hot. Pricing is fair and portions seemed very large. Staff was welcoming and friendly.
We got pork Spicy and Sour Dumplings, the broth was so amazing! Also got pork & scallion Pan-Fried Thumb Bun and shrimp, pork & chive steamed dumplings. Will definitely be back!“

“Food is as you would expect. Customer service was good. Cleanliness is lacking on a Wednesday afternoon. Tables need to be cleared and wiped down, floors are sticky. In their defense, they appear to be short staffed. The two here can't do everything. A little cleaning will go a long way. Don't let this place lose its shine.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at the best Chinese rice noodle house in Chinatown Houston and it was an exceptional experience. This noodle house offers an array of mouthwatering appetizers that set the stage for an unforgettable meal. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Chinese rice noodles. They were perfectly cooked, with a delightful chewy texture that left me craving more. The wide variety of noodle options allowed for a customized dining experience, catering to all tastes. We tried their signature items like the chicken soup rice noodle and the Mala rice noodle soup. The appetizers were a highlight, with an extensive selection that included sticky rice cake, marinated pig feet, and cucumber salad. The sticky rice cake was a delightful blend of sweet and savory, with a satisfyingly chewy consistency. The marinated pig feet were tender and flavorful, a true delicacy. The cucumber salad provided a refreshing contrast to the rich flavors of the other dishes, with a delightful balance of tanginess and crunch. The service at JiBeiChuan noodle house was impeccable, and the staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. Overall, this brand new Chinese rice noodle house is a must-visit for anyone looking to savor authentic and delicious Chinese cuisine. The combination of delectable rice noodles and a tantalizing selection of appetizers ensures an unforgettable culinary journey. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. And since it’s a authentic Chinese franchising noodle house, I don’t have to fly back to China to enjoy it. Highly recommended and will definitely come back.“

“Hunan King is absolutely delicious! Their food is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The General Tso’s Chicken is crispy and just the right amount of spicy, and their lo mein is packed with savory goodness. The service is fast and friendly, and the portions are generous for the price. I’ve never been disappointed with any dish I’ve tried. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, Hunan King never misses. It’s hands-down my favorite spot for Chinese food in town!“

“Absolutely incredible hole in the wall spot. The sautéed mixed vegetables was actually my favorite dish here. There was a good assortment of all my favorite veggies, and the sauce that it was cooked with was so savory and delicious. The pepper beef was cooked well and packed with incredible flavors from the bell peppers. As for the chili oil noodles, I’m very picky about them because some places can easily make them too greasy, sweet, sour, or salty… but the sauce was perfectly balanced in all aspects. The noodles had a wonderful bite to them, but I think it was more like one long noodle so be prepared to slurp and bite… I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes as I think I’ve found a new favorite!“

“One Dragon is my new favorite Chinese spot! Seriously, everything I ordered was amazing. I got the tofu skin wrap, xiu long bao (soup dumplings!), fried buns, and fried shrimp – and it was all so authentic and delicious. You can tell they really know what they're doing. Plus, the staff was super friendly, and the prices are a steal! If you're looking for real, high-quality Chinese food without breaking the bank, One Dragon is a must-try.“

“The duck blood and vermicelli soup in this restaurant is the most authentic in Houston! The soup was delicious, the duck blood was tender and smooth, and the vermicelli had a very chewy texture. Our family of five ate every drop. The lamb chops are definitely the highlight. They are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The aroma is fragrant. The seasonings are just right. Every piece is very delicious. Taste of hometown??“

“The Pork Xiao Long Bao was great. The beef noodle soup was delicious, meat was a little fatty but part of how the broth gets a good flavor. The Dan Dan noodles were not as traditionally served (I'm told) but tasty. The pan-fried dumplings were not traditionally fried, they were on a layer of dough that was fried with the dumplings cooked into the dough- not as good as traditional pan-fried dumplings.
A good number of additional items on the menu for those more daring.
Service was highly attentive.
The ambience was open and nice.
I expect to be back to the Dough Zone.
Parking: Parking lot and many restaurants and stores are part of the builidng.“

“The service and ambiance were what you’d expect from a traditional Chinese restaurant, but the food truly stood out. The duck was incredibly tender and flavorful, perfectly seasoned without being overly salty. The marinated delights combination was exceptional—each item was packed with rich, authentic flavors. “I have never been, but a neighborhood fan favorite, and I can see why. My husband actually liked the combo fried rice better than P. King. I got Happy Family, and egg rolls. Every thing was fresh, hot and tasty. We ate it next day and it held up well too. The shrimp they use are nice and fat. I would definitely order from here again.“

“Went here with my cousin today, the food was absolutely delicious. The portions were very generous! You start with a chicken dish (we got medium spice/size) and it was more than enough for two people to share. The flavor was phenomenal. I particularly liked the onions. After you finish your first dish, they come by and fill your bowl with chicken broth, turning it into a delicious hot pot. All sides you can add on are generous as well. Overall, wonderful experience. We will be coming back for sure!“

“A Culinary Gem in Houston – Desi Junction Indian Cuisine
If you’re on the hunt for authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine in Houston, look no further than Desi Junction Indian Cuisine. This place truly stands out for its exceptional food, stellar service, and attention to quality.
From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant ambiance that sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu offers an impressive variety of dishes, each prepared with care and bursting with the rich, authentic flavors that define Indian cuisine.
One of the highlights of my visit was the pani puri and dosa, both served just like the iconic street food in India. The pani puri was crisp and tangy, with perfectly spiced water and fillings that transported me straight to the bustling streets of Mumbai. The dosa was golden, crispy, and paired with chutneys and sambar that tasted like home. These dishes alone make Desi Junction a must-visit for anyone craving the true essence of Indian street food.
What truly impressed me was the attention to detail—every dish felt like a masterpiece, made with fresh ingredients and an evident passion for cooking. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, ready to guide you through the menu and ensure your meal was perfect from start to finish.
Desi Junction isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of Indian culture and cuisine. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a one-of-a-kind dining experience in Houston. It’s a place I’ll return to again and again!“

“Got take out from this place twice now. Excellent service and very flavorful food. I have tried the general tso, orange chicken, and sesame chicken. Their flavors are good, but they don’t make the chicken crispy if you’re looking for it that way. Fried rice is good, and whatever cut of chicken they use is fresh.“

“First time here and the staff was super sweet and welcoming! Our server gave great recommendations and we loved everything we had! Best salt and pepper wings ever! We loved both the egg drop soup and the wonton soup, and it's a big portion even though we ordered the small size. In general their portions are huge for the price ! We will definitely be returning soon! The spicy beef fried rice isn't actually spicy, so they bring out a chili oil sauce on the side, and the beef and vegetables has a delicious sauce and a good variety of vegetables.“

“We made it a point to fly into IAH instead of Austin just so we could get a car, drive to Fat Bao, order our favs, and get our fix before driving to Austin. Best baos we’re ever had and we’ve had manyyyy.
Yummy byrd, Duck, Memphis, Panko Fish, and Walnut Shrimp baos are the musts.
Onion rings were a bit too much batter and not enough onion ring so we’d pass on those.
Thank you we love you and we already miss you“
