“I have eaten at various Cajun seafood restaurants, because who doesn’t love a good boil?

The biggest issue I’ve had with many of the eateries I’ve been to is either the lack of flavor but mainly the excess use of salt.

7spice had all dishes seasoned perfectly! I got mild spice level for all dishes, and I thoroughly enjoyed the crab legs, vegetable, fried fish, the sweet potato fries.

Only qualms would be that the toasted bread had a very bad chemical taste, probably from the type of butter they spread on it. And their coleslaw was watery, it was more of a soup than a salad!

Other than that, everything I ordered was awesome and also made for some good left over the next day. Thanks y’all!“

Yeah you give up a little in the area of atmosphere and it's in an area of town that might trouble you, but I've always chosen a restaurant on the basis of taste of food and the price for that quality of food. It IS the BEST Cajun food you're gonna get for the money. The owner often services your table and is flexible to menu variations. I hope he gets confident enough to open up another restaurant in a safer part of town. I know he will do well if he can just get people in there.“

“I attended their Grand Opening on October 16, 2021. The wait in area was very neat and clean. My daughter and I ordered the Crab cake platter and for dessert the Stuffed Cheesecake. Those crab cakes melted in my mouth, and the sauce that come with it was a perfect match to this dish. Light buttery flakey crab!! YUUMMM. The dessert was so good. I loved how flavorful it was and hot. Please if you are in the Bellaire area you have to try them out. They care about people and want to make sure you are satisfied with all of the food. There are very few Chefs in this world that actually care about the quality of their food. You will not be dissapointed with Palate Fusion!!!“

I’ve visited La Crawfish in Richmond, TX a few times, and overall it’s a solid spot for seafood lovers. We love to support local, eat local, and shop local, so this place has always been on our radar.

The food has been awesome in the past, especially their crawfish and classic Cajun dishes. However, on our most recent visit, it seemed like there may have been a change in ownership, as the food was just okay compared to previous experiences. While still tasty, it didn’t quite hit the same level of flavor we’ve come to expect from them.

The restaurant itself is casual and welcoming, and the staff have always been friendly and accommodating, making the dining experience enjoyable. The portions are generous, and there’s a good selection of sides and drinks to complement the seafood.

Despite the small dip in quality on our last visit, La Crawfish remains a great option for those looking for Cajun-style crawfish and seafood in Richmond. I hope the new ownership continues to improve and bring back the amazing flavors we remember.

The food looked so good on Facebook, but the amazing taste when covering with the Crack sauce. I will definitely be back next year during crawfish season. 😋. If the seafood was this good, I cannot imagine how good the crawfish is.“
