“Sulphur Springs Texas is a really cute town worth a visit. But not unless you go to Back Story Brewery. Perfect location to park, get great brews and food and then stroll through town.

We came here as Harvest Hosts and the accommodations were first rate. We were fortunate enough to get a 50amp hook up - first come first served.

We’d come back in a heartbeat.”

“Great atmosphere. The weather was nice so we sat outside in the cote little downtown.Food was really good. We had boiled shrimp cold… seasoned well. We also had grilled fish and sides. Kristen our server was so nice. Thank you for a nice dinner.”

“Not a place to go if you want a quiet dining experience. It’s very loud with dishes clattering and high level of chatter. Even though we ate at 1 is was still very busy. Alcohol is not served here.”

“I live over an hour away from Sulphur Springs, but I regularly work around this area. About once a week I pick up pork tacos and the quesadillas. This is the best taco truck in East Texas and just might be the best tacos I have ever had!! I now have to bring tacos back home for some friends I have turned on to them. Delicious!!!”

The brisket was tender but not quite as flavorful as some that I've had before and the sausage was one of the better sausages that I've had. The sides I really liked the potato salad and the coleslaw.”

I have a severe gluten sensitivity and struggle to find safe places to eat that do not make me sick. It’s so nice to have Sweet Rice as a safe and delicious dining option! Their menu lists many gluten free options and if an item isn’t marked, Lily has helped show me which items can be modified to fit my dietary restrictions. My family and I highly recommend this restaurant!”

“This has become a new morning routine. A pick me up! There is a wide variety of flavors with different supplements you can add. With it being flu season I love to add the vitamin c. The girls behind the counter are very helpful and super nice. Always asking how you are and inquiring about your day making you feel important. “This guy has the BEST tasting authentic Mexican food in all of Hopkins County, dude puts so much love and effort into his cooking and it reflects in the food you're eating! He also has Aguas Frescas that are amazing! My favorite is the Watermelon flavored one, and my wife's favorite is of course, Horchata! His salsas are amazing, green and red, and sometimes he has Birria Tacos that are the best I've ever had. And to Top it all off, it's AFFORDABLE! We love this guy.”

“Why isn't it the law that anyone that fix people's food in public have to wear a hair net? I went Braums this week ordered a double dip hot fudge sundae. I paid for it turned to go enjoy it. And looked at it ? there between the ice cream and whip cream was a long hair. I looked at the people working there no one had a hair net on. No I couldn't eat one bite I turned back around showed the sundae to the girl that had fixed it. She said uck I'm so sorry. It wasn't her hair I don't know how but it was definitely some one that works there she had her back turned to me the whole time she was fixing it. It was woven into between the ice cream and the topping. Yes if you look on the sweater are shirts there wearing there are hair's. The health dept needs to make everyone wear hair nets when handling other people's food. Same thing happened at DQ the lady sitting beside us had a hair in her fries when the manager brought them out. The manager apologized said she would get her fresh fries. The lady was smart and said she didn't want fries but would take onion rings. No one has a hair net on at DQ !”

“It’s been a minute since I’ve eaten at Roma’s. My food was amazing. The Baca special and my husband had the veal Parmesan. We highly recommend this restaurant for its food quality. If you haven’t attended one of the music events, you really should consider.”

“What a great find for a healthy drink on a long road trip!We got smoothies which are made with real fruit and they have some things you can add if you want. The shop has lots of hand-made items and things from their farm.Right next to a nice main street and some EV chargers. Stumbled across the town and would have loved to stay longer!”

“These are the nastiest wings I ever had in my life, I ordered a 16 piece lemon pepper hot wing and they sent one order of bland hot wings with curly frys and a order of no flavor tasteless wings with cury frys I did not know chicken could be so bland and nasty. we didn't even eat them they're just sitting there, we did not even have dinner because it was so bad.”

“I pulled in to get my coffee at 6AM and had a nosebleed. The young lady at the window gave me 40+ napkins and even went and got a wet rag and gave it to me. Top tier service from her. Absolutely love this location. Everyone is ALWAYS friendly and accommodating. There’s another lady who gave me a free coffee when she saw that I was having a really tough day. These people hold a special place in my heart.”

“I love this subway...the owner is awesome to her staff and it comes across in how they treat their customers. The staff is always ready and willing to satisfy the customer and make sure they have a good experience. The food is good and they make sure you get your monies worth. Ingredients are always fresh. “Walked up and the guy behind the counter... acts as if he's not wanting to work today. My husband asks about the sides and the guy informs him they are listed on the screen (that's fair, right) but the moment he asks for green beans (which is on the screen) the guy tells him they don't have that side here. WHAT?!? Ok.... I order turkey as one of my meats.... guess what.... it's on the screen but they don't have that meat but they have chicken. SERIOUSLY?!
If anyone tells you the potato salad is terrible.... LISTEN TO THEM. The mac-n-cheese was thick and dry. The meat was good. The slaw was really good. I love a good slaw.
No one was there to dine-in when we got there or the entire time we were there and not one employee thought to come clean the tables or floor.
This place is nothing to write home to mama about. But I guess when you're hungry it will do.”
