“I am unsure as to a review of Qi as a vegan. Nothing is marked vegan on the menu, although our waitress said there were a few things that could be made vegan. We were told the fried & steamed dumplings, scallion pancake, and tofu/rice dish were all vegan, but Im just not sure as our waitress seemed a bit confused at times would really be nice to mark items as vegan on the menu, especially for allergy sensitivities. I did think everything was delicious though and very creative.“

“Absolutely incredible dining experience! Went last night with the husband and the night from start to finish was amazing. The entire team was wonderful, from the extremely personable and friendly host for the night (I believe his name was Kavian) to all the chefs, staff and a great surprise was meeting Chef Ling herself! The courses were to die for and the portions were perfect. We can't wait to come back and share the experience with some friends!“

“Been here half a dozen times now and am never disappointed! Great choices of meats, and an even better selection of veggies, mushrooms, fish balls, shrimp, and everything else. “Everything tasted good. Peking duck was phenomenal. Chickens& chili sauce and couples beef slices were delicious. Peashoots and duck soup was also delicious.Half the food was fantastic, the other half was just good, hence the 4stars on food, but the price was also incredible.Insane amount of food for less then $200“

“Oh my goodness! We were so happy we had the opportunity to stop by and indulge in Lin’s cuisine. The dim sum was like a soft pillow of flavor with every bite. Our volcano shrimp was sweet and the pecans added a great crunch. We also ended up getting the akaushi beef ? crispy on the outside and smooth in the inside. Probably the best part was the service though! The plates were taken away as soon as we were done, the waiter Martin checked on us a couple times, had immense knowledge about the restaurant and was so very kind! What a great introduction to the Lin Dynasty ? Can’t wait to try them all!“

“I recently dined at this restaurant around the corner from me that left me thoroughly impressed. The portions were generous, satisfying even the heartiest appetites. The standout dish for me was the flavorful and perfectly cooked Hunan Chicken – a must-try that exceeded my expectations. The overall experience was delightful, and I highly recommend this place for both quantity and quality lovers.“

“Arrived to this "new to me" Chinese BBQ restaurant and it was bustling with happy patrons. The restaurant was clean, the staff were efficient, and the food coming out of the kitchen was fragrant. Ordered fried wontons, assorted bbq and a veggie delight to share and it was delicious. The veggies were the perfect crisp-tender and vibrantly colorful. While delicious, there were only a few mushrooms and the bulk of the veggie was cabbage and broccoli. They bring out the food as it's ready instead of waiting for your order to be complete which meant that everything came out piping hot. That also meant that we got our veggies before our appetizer of fried wontons. The menu has a lot of variety so you are sure to find something you will enjoy and every single item we received was packed with flavor. The roasted pork belly had a perfectly crispy skin and the roast duck was juicy and flavorful. Looking forward to a repeat visit in the future.“

“West campus, a Chinese food truck slightly west of campusI bought a Liangpi. It should be $9.2 including tax. I will pay with Zelle. The Liangpi itself is quite large, with a lot of bean sprouts and shredded cucumbers. You can add all the sauce. The chili oil is very fragrant but not too spicy. The ratio of sauce to cold skin ingredients is OK when it is cold, and it is not too dry or wet. It tastes refreshing. If you like strong flavors, you may need to add more sauce. I would like to try Roujiamo next time“

“My mom and I came to Austin to visit my little sister who has been living here for a couple of years. It’s our first night and we were deciding on what to eat for dinner and being Filipino - we were looking for a home cooked meal and Kapatad definitely satisfied that! When we came we didn’t realize they were closing 30 mins earlier than usual because it was Sunday. My family ordered quickly but we did not feel rushed at all because the staff were very accommodating and welcoming to have us for dinner. My mom talked to the owner who took the time to talk to her for a little bit even though he had his hands full trying to clean. Our server was also seemed very kind! The food was very delicious and gave us a taste of home. Overall, we definitely felt the Filipino hospitality here and cannot recommend it anymore!“

“Loud bustling atmosphere that you would expect from a popular restaurant on a Sat night. The staff is super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. Flaky scallion swirls were amazing with the the truffle butter and sweet bean sauce to lather on top. Very flavorful, flaky and super buttery and soft. We also had the Liang Ban BBQ Pig Ear which was spicy and really nice flavor and it numbs your mouth. I could only have a little as I'm not a huge fan of the Mala peppercorns but my husband enjoyed it. Same with the DanDan noodles - strong Mala pepper flavor. The husband said the DanDan Noodles were the best he's ever had so far. For dessert, we had the black sesame soft serve which was delicious. TIP: scoop from the bottom when eating the soft serve or you'll end up with a bunch of tapioca with your last few bites. My favorite was the flaky scallion swirl.“

“I cannot believe how incredible this place is! I used to drive food to people's homes and this was one of the most popular spot and now I see why. The soup dumplings were insanely good but the wonton soup was an even bigger surprise! The fried rice was lacking in the flavor department but hey, the word noodles is in the name. The restaurant was really clean and I could drink the chili crisp. I can't wait to be back!“

“Some people complain about the lack of space. Sadly, you can't help that every one and their mother wants to eat at this place now. The food is just that good. Service is quick from the time you order.Authentic sizchuan and other tasty Chinese dishes. I recommend the mapo tofu, spicy pork pot, dry pot, greenbeans, and the pork ribs are to die for.“

“Delicious! They claim Japanese and Taiwanese, but it’s kind of an Asian varietal! The handmade dumplings and wontons are ridiculously delicious. The sushi is fresh and tasty. The beef claypot was good but it had very little beef only 6 pieces with lots of carrots and mushrooms. Our service was awesome. I can’t wait to go back. The prices were reasonable for the quality.“

“Spectacular food, wonderfully prepared. Waiter friendly, intelligent, funny and just the right amount of interactive. Limited menu, but diverse and every item prepared just right. Four good draft beers. Good limited wine selection. Not high end pricey but high end and good atmosphere. Owner personable. We four old timers (60's and early 70's) felt relaxed and everything conduced to having a delightful conversation. Do not pass up the OT brownie with Ube butter. Uniquely delicious, but very very buttery rich..“

“Heaven in a cup | Hand crafted authentic Chai . You have to wait about 7 minutes for it as he makes each cup of chai fresh. Unbelievably delicious!! Brought back pleasant memories of my years in India. . Last week I had chai at a regular brick and mortar “Indian” restaurant. I couldn’t drink it. It was so bad I threw it out! In contrast, this guy crafts each cup with love. . Intersection of I-35 and 38th Street in the Shell parking lot. It’s not fancy but the food is great too. I love their samosas. I remember when G’raj Mahal was in a trailer before they became famous in downtown Austin. These guys could be the next big thing in Indian food. Lata Bhatia“

“Food 9/10 Service 3/10 Came here last week with a small work group of 8. The food was great and the atmosphere was perfect. Soup dumplings are incredible as well as the fried rice. My complaint on the service is that they have "partners" for service and in doing so they share tables and are NOT efficient and actually quite the opposite. Half our table had drinks for 20 min before the other half got them because each of the servers thought the other was getting them. We asked for our fried rice quite literally 6 times and they just kept brining out the white rice says that the table only fits so many items. We kindly said we realize that, so take back the white we won't eat it and bring out our fried rice, it was like we were inconveniencing the servers. They brought out the fried rice LAST after nearly 2 hours of being there and no one was hungry anymore. If someone orders fried rice they want it with their main meal. Not brought out like a desert.“

“This restaurant is a family favorite. We love the spring rolls with the generous portions and that special crunchy stick inside. My personal favorite is the lemon grass tofu, Mom likes the grilled shrimp. We always order the green beans XO for the table. So delicious. Some very thoughtful vegan entrees include Spicy Vegan Hue style Vietnamese noodle soup and the Vegan 512 Vermicelli. Of course many dishes can also be made without meat, but it's nice to have a vegetable based broth option. They also have a vegan option for fish sauce if you so desire. The portions are generous. It's a great place for takeout. The prices are reasonable. What's not to love?“

“I can’t recommend this place enough! The prices and the portions are unbeatable. I get a bento box every time and always have enough for leftovers. The server we’ve always had is so helpful and welcoming. He recommended a premium salmon roll (pictured below) this time and it was amazing.“

“I planned to go to Chinatown North for dim sum but the sign at the entrance said to head downstairs for dim sum, where Street is below. The waiter said they are connected but different establishments and the dim sum servers upstairs would come from the lower kitchen anyway. I ate here with a close friend after wrapping up weekend meetings in Austin. The place has a good vibe and friendly service, quite modern and clean. We shared six items and everything had great flavor, with the turnip cake and prawn siu mai being my favorites. Above average pricing for dim sum but I think that comes with the experience. Good spot for a date or with friends. I would go back.Parking: Free parking lot around the building.“

“The dumplings stole the show, especially the pork and shrimp spicy and sour dumplings. They were bursting with flavor and had the perfect balance of spice and tang. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal. Everything we had was great, and I would also recommend the pork fried rice and green beans. The xia long bao was nice and worth trying.Dumpling World is an excellent place to go for delicious food and an enjoyable dining experience. They are currently in their soft opening phase, so we are looking forward to their final menu.Parking: There is a very close parking garage that has free retail parking on the bottom level.“

“China Family is the best Szechuan in Austin, hands down. Others are too salty, not spicy enough, not enough of the main dish. It's pricy-ish, but imo it is very worth it! I pick up their beef in chili oil at least once a month—it's worth the trek!“

“Great Chinese takeout food! This place really delivered. We got a good variety of different foods, from Lo Mein to fried chicken to sesame balls, and sweet & sour soup. All of the above were solid, no complaints at all. The fried chicken was what you'd expect, crispy with a soft chicken bite in the center, sesame balls were crispy and also soft in the center with the red bean. If you're looking for a Chinese food place with a lot of the staples and a good overall flavor on everything, look no further than Tso's Chinese!“

I got a lot of HS Soup and rice, few brocolli and some steamed wonton for the pickup.Vegetarian options: There is an all veggie section on the menu.Wheelchair accessibility: The open kitchen style would accommodate a wheelchair, I believe.“

“The people are SO nice, the service is excellent, and their Curry Chicken is my all time favorite! I usually go there for lunch and to read my book by myself and they make me feel very comfortable. I love their egg rolls and hot and sour soup too, but the thing that brings me back is the Curry Chicken. With big chunks of onion ... mmm! I sometimes ask for extra sauce if I'm taking home leftovers or having it delivered, so I can have 2 meals out of it, but who am I kidding? I usually eat every bite!“

“We made our 2nd visit tonight, one year after our first, and again was stunned by how good your food was. The dumplings, the wonton soup, and the lo mein were all outstanding. Very fast- and family owned. My absolute favorite dish is the Sichuan stir-fried chicken, definitely recommend trying it!Vegetarian options: Several dishes have options to trade out the protein for veggies or tofu, and they have a whole section for vegetarianParking: There is plenty of parking at dinner time. “Cute little take out place. Food is tasty except for one thing. They don't understand spice levels. I asked for mild spice but I got so much more that that. If it weren't for the fact that I was so hungry I'm not sure if I would eat it as it was bordering my tolerance level on the high end. As it was I had to take breaks in order to eat it. Don't get me wrong, it did still taste good, just be warned if you're going to order food from here that the spice levels are actually no or yes, not whatever levels they put.Dietary restrictions: I can't have wheat, eggs, dairy, or tomatoes and they had several options that excluded those things.“

“I enjoyed our mini brunch moment with my partner when we were waiting for some friends to head over to P6. I'll never say no to soup dumplings or baos so when my partner was craving something spicy, this seemed like a win/win moment. You place your order at the kiosk or you can ring a bell for a team member to come on out. We placed our order with the kiosk which was super nice since they had photos for visuals. My ordered consisted of the pork bao buns and soup dumplings. The soup dumplings come with a warning that they take 15 minutes to come out but they were well worth the wait! You can only grab the bao buns on the weekend from 12-5pm, but we really enjoyed them. This is like the little sibling of Wu Chow so it was nice to get a taste of it but saving a full dining experience for another moment. As for the noodles my partner made mala style. He gave it a thumbs up while slurping his food away. The broth was really good to his accord.“
