“For the price the combo boxes had a small amount of fries. My 7 year old finished a 4 tender combo box (we opted for extra fries even) and was still hungry. I will get a picture and post next time. It looked skimp from the beginning and it is one of the pricier tender and fries combo around.“

“We’ve probably been coming to Rudy’s for the 15 years since we’ve moved here. How delightful is it that it’s part of a gas station? Then there’s the playground out back. The cheeky signs and staff add to the charm. The barbecue is consistently and always delicious.

I recently started to order ahead for busy weeknight dinners and huge shoutout to the team who runs the curbside. The first time I forgot to say curbside but they let me stay in the car anyway. He brought out the food FAST, was super friendly and wanted to see if I need d anything else. Same thing the second time around- we got there a lot earlier than anticipated but took care of us fast. I really appreciate the hospitality and kindness y’all!

“Taco Deli is my go-to for breakfast. The grab-and-go tacos are perfect when I'm in a hurry: always fresh, full of flavor, and ready to go so I'm in and out in minutes.

What really makes this place special is the service. There's a gray-haired gentleman (I believe he's the manager) who remembers me every time I come in and goes out of his way to say hello. That kind of personal touch is rare, and it makes every visit feel like stopping by a neighborhood spot where people actually know you.

“I’ve been to Top Notch before, and every time the food is fantastic. The fries are always crispy and delicious, and the shakes are absolutely incredible, easily some of my favorites around.

On my most recent visit, Owen was working the register, and his kindness genuinely made my day. When I went to pay for my drink, he unexpectedly gave it to me on the house. It was such a thoughtful gesture and speaks volumes about the level of customer service he provides.

“Really amazing food at comparable prices to other trucks in the area. I'm pretty sure the guacamole was the best I've ever had in many many years. We've tried several taco trucks and this food was definitely top tier. I really appreciated the owner was very patient and complimentary of our attempt at ordering in Spanish. It's nice that they have several tables under a shaded pavilion so that we could eat lunch right there out of the sun.“

“The food & service is excellent. Lots of options even if you are a vegetarian. Their address on google maps is wrong so you’ll end up in an empty parking lot if you go by that. I’ve let them know about this error so hopefully it will be changed to the correct address soon! Use apple maps if you are newer to the area to get here instead. “went here while I was in Vegas only a week after they opened. the only sad thing was that didnt have shirts for sale yet. delicious beef, good flavor, the sauce brought it all together and and a beautiful soft bun that held and didnt crumble. The fries are perfect and dont sleep on their Chipotle ketchup. This is a must stop while in Vegas!“

“I can't brag enough about the lovelies that have been making my "Surprise Me" lattes. Every one of them has been absolutely delicious. From the very first one (something cinnamony) to the samoas cookie replica, to the black forest cake and blueberry muffin. Its absolute decadence in a to-go cup. “Howard was amazing, as was Angel!!! Angel went above and beyond because I noticed a Five dollar difference for six 🌮 tacos!

After I questioned the money spike because I know six tacos are about 25 dollars and now nearly $30! I was informed that prices recently increased, dang inflation! Lol. In order to keep me happy an extra taco was added free of charge.

Angel provided top notch customer service and definitely made my day as did Howard!

They both deserve a salary increase because they both have a clear understanding of what it takes to keep an over 12 year patron keep coming back.

“If you're visiting the State Capitol by yourself, or with out-of-town guests, at some point you're going to get hungry. One block away from the Capitol, at 922 Congress Avenue, is the Tastea Deli. It's a small family-owned business led by Grace Yom. My wife and I stopped in for lunch and tried a few of their sandwiches and specialty beverages. The deli may be small, but the tastes are big! All sandwiches are offered in three sizes - 4.5, 7 and 10 inches. We chose The Italian and the Chipotle Ham and Turkey Sandwiches. I tried their Strawberry and Banana Smoothie and my wife had the Kiwi Pomegranate Iced Tea. What I noticed first about both sandwiches, was the extremely fresh bread. The bread held the sauces well and did not break apart. My wife does not eat a lot, and her small sandwich was the perfect size. She gave me a bite and the meats really blended well with the Chipotle dressing and veggies. They did not oversauce it. I loaded up my 10-inch Italian with all the veggies they had except for jalapeños. I went with banana peppers instead. The meats included capicola, pepperoni, salami and ham, as well as provolone cheese. Tasty blend of flavors, sauces perfectly with their house Italian dressing. My smoothie was also really good. They sell a ton of smoothies according to Grace (See picture for other flavors) My wife also loved her tea. They ask you the level of sweetness you want in it, and if you want it with boba. Other items to consider trying are the Chicken Ranch, Roast Beef and the Chicken. Prices range from $6.50 - $11.50. I am trying the Beef Dip on my next visit. From outside, the corner space is pretty unremarkable, just a faded green awning with an old Quizino logo burned into it. A small sign says you've arrived at Tastea Deli. Inside it is sparsely decorated but clean, and the staff is very friendly. Last thought: On a small table in the corner of the restaurant sat a Bible opened to the Gospel of Matthew. I asked Grace about it. She simply said, sometimes people just need some good news. If that's not your thing, ignore it. Grace and her team will make sure you leave with your belly full with good food. And seriously, get a smoothie...soooo good!“
