Both hit the spot. Then came the Hillview Court Bean Dip—courtesy of Rob and Amy—and it was smashing delicious. Rich, flavorful, and the perfect start to the meal. I went with a perfectly seared prime ribeye, served with fresh veggies and a crisp salad. Cooked just right, packed with flavor. My wife ordered the Thai Shrimp Tacos, and that sauce? It made them pop—a spicy-sweet punch that brought the dish to life. We closed the night with homemade cheesecake and their decadent bourbon bread pudding—a dessert pairing that could make a grown man tear up. And to finish? “Wow! This place is fantastic. We were walk-ins on a busy night, and they still found a way to accommodate us, which we really appreciated. The hostess was sweet and welcoming, and our server was incredibly professional. We shared some tasty appetizers before enjoying the salmon dish with these sweet and spicy brussel sprouts which was amazing. The lychee martini was my favorite. For dessert, we had fresh crispy churros served with this delicious salted caramel sauce, absolutely to die for! Now, the space is stunning, reminded me of something out of Las Vegas. They even have a Jazz Night, which you’d normally have to go to Dallas for, so it’s great to see something like that right here in Frisco. The manager gave us his ‘fancy’ digital business card since we are planning a birthday party and was gracious enough to give us a tour of their upstairs space answering all of our questions. He has a genuine, kind spirit that shows in his demeanor towards you as soon as you walk in and sit down. He cares about what you want and then makes sure you are enjoying every sip. “So this place was really good, I grew up on BBQ so I typically don’t eat it out but this Asian fusion was very nice twist. We ordered the brisket and it was a small portion for the price and it was cold to the touch! my bf is very non confrontational so he just ate it. Tbh it was nothing crazy, tender and a strong Smokey flavor. The chicken karaage was delicious, the combination of ginger, basil and cilantro with it was just *chefs kiss* we tried the sweet corn fritters and sent them back but they are very popular just neither one of us enjoyed them. We also grabbed the rice noodles and oh my gosh they were go amazing. It’s a cold noodles and topped with fresh cilantro and just the right amount of heat and so good. The last side we shared was the Caesar salad, it was not good. I’m a salad lover and Caesar is my favorite, the lettuce was old, wilted and not that nice crisp fresh bite. But eh the stuff that was good was really good, I’d go again for sure.“
