“I've tried many Pho places around the North Side of Houston. I found this place with a friend recommendation. Wow, their Bun Bo Hue is by far the best I have ever had. The flavor is savory, and broth is delicious. Like homemade. Not only their BBH good, but so is their Pho. My kids also love this place.👍“

“This a really good spot and the staff is very inviting. I ordered the Bánh Xèo, it had squid, shrimp, pork, mushrooms and sprouts. It was really delicious and filling. The egg shell was very light and crispy on the edges. I will definitely go back to try more items on the menu.“

“Gorgeous restaurant serving gorgeous food. What better place to gather with my gorgeous friends than Annam? We enjoyed two different martinis: Ca Phe (coffee/espresso) and Lychee. To start, we had the fisherman's soup, which was light yet flavorful, and the pork jowl lettuce wraps which were rich, meaty, and complexly savory. We then had the Fried Whole Branzino, which was both visually and gustatorily stunning. It was crispy and well seasoned, with meaty flesh that was elevated by the bed of fresh vegetables and accompanying fish sauce. Also delicious were the Shitake Mushrooms in a Clay Pot, with its umami-rich sauce. Less exciting were the Shaking Filet Mignon (wonderfully tender, but it lacked flavor,) and the Skull Island Chili Garlic Prawns (underwhelming.) Dessert was mixed bag. I loved the Dubai Chocolate Mousse Cake but didn't care for the Coconut Pandan Mousse Cake. Service was excellent! Our server, in particular, was congenial, incredibly friendly yet professional and spot- on with her menu knowledge and recommendations. Our group was impressed, overall, and will be sure to return.“

“I cannot say enough good things about this place! The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and the restaurant itself is absolutely spotless. You can really tell they care about quality and the little details—even their water is purified reverse osmosis, not just regular tap! Everything is prepared fresh to order and consistently tastes incredible. Their lunch specials are an unbeatable deal—generous portions, super affordable, and always fresh. But the absolute star of the show is their Pho; it is hands down my favorite! I highly, highly recommend giving this gem a try!“

“We tried this place just by passing by today 8/18/24. We have eaten at many other places and we love this one. Food was excellent and good serving sizes. Prices are good. We had three different sushi plates and it all tasted fresh. I had a vermicelli bowl and absolutely loved it. My husband had Pho and our kids had orange chicken and house lo mein. Everything was fresh. Staff was so attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back.“

“First I will start with the atmosphere. When at the countertop, I saw a medium sized fly. After ordering , which was easy my Dad tried to get ice, yet barely any came out so He asked the girl at the countertop who was nice to get Him ice for his diet coke. On a Thursday from 5-7 apparently they're supposed to have live music and there was not. We did come on a Thursday for supper and we were there at 6:03 PM. They had very delicious food and while I am not familiar with cucumber and jalapeno in sandwiches, I am glad they mentioned atleast the jalapeno. I like the roll pieces and the rice noodles. They have a huge menu so be confident on what you get.“

“Family run business, serene atmosphere, clean, great service, good pho, if my or mom's pho are considered 9/10 this is a solid 7 for a standard price. For comparison the average pho in Houston I'd rate a 5 or 6. The egg rolls are great, protein centric, most likely pork or a mix of pork & chicken, rare, most egg rolls are vegetable forward. Will be back.“

Took my two daughters to Pho Guru today, formerly Pho Town 2. Ordered a large bowl of meatball, tendon, and flank pho, plus a side of bone marrow. Honestly, I haven’t had a decent bowl of pho since moving to the States, but this place nailed it. The broth was fantastic—I nearly drank it all. Big thanks to the chef for an amazing meal. Keep it consistent, because I’ll definitely be back!“

“I really love this hidden gem it, I literally drive from Rosenberg to buy their baos and asian tamales. The owner is so sweet and they lock their doors because crime is high so just call them or knock they will open if its within their business hours.
Their baos are excellent and prices r better than Chinatown. Its like comfort food for me“

“My new favorite place. For 1 its affordable. My family always calls me cheap like the dad on everybody hates Chris. I simple want the best deal with quality without breaking the bank. It beats going to McDonald's. Why because I've spent about the same if not more at McDonald's to get less. You get a good amount of food for the price here.
Secondly the food you can smell from down the street and it tastes good. They give you plenty of sauce (not stingy like franchises.
They have options for kids who may not like fish.
You get 2 pieces with lots of fries. The fish is big. Photos don't lie. They have different kinds of fish like swai, catfish, or tilapia. Swai it my favorite.
When I went in to pick up, it was a nice atmosphere. Great customer service 👏🏾 👌🏾“

“Vina Bakery is amazing!! The bánh mì is amazing, I usually get the chicken or the pork and add a fried egg. The bread that is used for the sandwich is absolutely mouth watering, a light crispiness on the outside and soft, fluffy, and airy on the inside.

The sandwich is pretty filling too, it’s more filling and has more meat than a normal sandwich from other sandwich shops.

“Outstanding food! We did our first takeout from Mr. pho and it was amazing. We ordered the Number One Pho special, Vermicelli and spring rolls. Pho was packed without the broth and vegetables. Those were packed separately. I added the hot broth to the Pho, bean sprouts, herbs and enjoyed! Knowing that the broth takes time to make, I don’t “pollute” it with soy sauce, sirachi or hoisin sauce. Delicious. So was the spring rolls, pork vermicelli and Vietnamese iced coffee. Very generous portions. Will be back again soon!“

“I've been about 3 times for lunch since 2020, and they've each been good experiences. It's a little quiet during lunch, so waiters and waitresses are attentive and the wait isn't too long, but they don't check in much until you seem ready for the check (this is a good thing, in my opinion). The atmosphere is really nice, and the prices are fair for the amount of food you get. Rarely am I able to finish my food!

Pictured are fried rice and shrimp, pho, milk tea, and a smoothie (2020). Good for vegetarians (pho, rice plates, etc.). When I'm in the NW Houston area, I would return!“
