“Don’t let the looks fool you, this is a very good Asian restaurant with all the classic Vietnamese dishes and more. It’s a small mom and pop store with a small dining area and only a few staff, but the quality of the food shines through it all. They have a huge menu of items to choose from, and boba drinks and smoothies as well. We got the crispy egg noodle, grilled pork rice plate, and a strawberry banana smoothie, and it was all excellent. The food took awhile but they were pretty busy and it looked like there was only three people running the whole place. The price you pay is fair for the portions you get, and definitely enough to have leftovers to take home. Overall an excellent spot in the Woodlands for Viet and Asian cuisine, and one that I’ll be going back to.“

“Lovely place to eat! I got the pork banh mi and my husband got that as well, along with pork spring rolls. They were excellent. It's hard to find quality Vietnamese food, but this place was really good. Definitely worth a stop. There was only one lady working when we went though, so expect a little bit of a wait. The environment is really nice too, little patio/outside seating with a small pavilion you can sit under.“

“We went there at noon. There were.some customers and it was our fist time there.
The service was great and the portions are good too. The owner or manager walks to your table to make sure all is as you expect. There are some screens showcasing programs from Vietnam, very interesting.
The place is clean and so are the rest rooms.

“We tried this place just by passing by today 8/18/24. We have eaten at many other places and we love this one. Food was excellent and good serving sizes. Prices are good. We had three different sushi plates and it all tasted fresh. I had a vermicelli bowl and absolutely loved it. My husband had Pho and our kids had orange chicken and house lo mein. Everything was fresh. Staff was so attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back.“

“My family comes here all the time. We love their pho broth. Any time one of us is sick, we get lots of broth to drink. Even my son knows if he’s sick he gets to drink the yummy broth then feel better. Me and my boyfriend really like to get the 1a with half noodles and my dad always gets the combination pho. The restaurant is always clean and quiet. We’ve never had any complaints!“

“I’ve been coming here for several years now, ever since the establishment was first opened. It’s a local hole in wall run by a lovely elderly couple.

Prompt and friendly service. They make their own banh mi bread and pate. The boas are always steaming hot.

I make my way here passing by several other Banh mi restaurants because theirs is soooo good. The inside may not be upscale or modern but it’s definitely cozy and warm.

There’s usually a large group of elderly gentlemen enjoying Viet coffee and chatting out front. Brings a smile to my face every time I pull up. Reminds me of old town Asia.“

“Outstanding food! We did our first takeout from Mr. pho and it was amazing. We ordered the Number One Pho special, Vermicelli and spring rolls. Pho was packed without the broth and vegetables. Those were packed separately. I added the hot broth to the Pho, bean sprouts, herbs and enjoyed! Knowing that the broth takes time to make, I don’t “pollute” it with soy sauce, sirachi or hoisin sauce. Delicious. So was the spring rolls, pork vermicelli and Vietnamese iced coffee. Very generous portions. Will be back again soon!“

“I've been about 3 times for lunch since 2020, and they've each been good experiences. It's a little quiet during lunch, so waiters and waitresses are attentive and the wait isn't too long, but they don't check in much until you seem ready for the check (this is a good thing, in my opinion). The atmosphere is really nice, and the prices are fair for the amount of food you get. Rarely am I able to finish my food!
