“Street stand of Mexican tacos, well prepared and with the flavor of the neighboring country. It is attended in Spanish and English. The tables are made of wood with leather details. Credit cards are accepted. They also have ice pops for dessert.Parking: It is next to Heritage Park.“

“My first time here. Ordered the custom breakfast taco option, to go, and it was delicious. It's inside the gas station but there is a little cafe with tables you can eat there if you want.Unassuming but now that I know it's there, I'll be back.“

“The restaurant is very clean, friendly hostesses greet you as you walk in. Our waitress was very nice. The queso is the best I’ve had in awhile. I got steak and chicken fajitas which were really good! Thick cuts of steak and chicken. My husband got the enchiladas, I had a bite and they were pretty good.“

“We stopped in for takeout after the UT football game. We got a Fuego plate and a half chicken plate, and everything was so delicious! The chicken is tender and really nicely seasoned, and the borracho beans are some of the best I've had. It was a really reasonable price for how much food we got, we had leftovers for tomorrow. Will definitely be back!“

“Just remember they are cash only! Great tacos for a very reasonable price. Their salsas are actually spicy and flavorful. And last but not least I absolutely love their Elote. I do wish they had some kind of vegetarian option (like napoles) so my vegetarian family members could also enjoy, but that won't stop me from coming back. Also, the staff was always very friendly and quick. Overall one of the best places to get tacos in the Temple/Belton area.“

“Honestly I’m extremely picky with birria tacos. I am somewhat new to temple and wanted to try some, and after looking at reviews decided to give this place a try.BEST BIRRIA TACOS IVE EVER HAD.My only thing is I wish the onions were diced instead of sliced“

“Service A+ Food was not to bad. The bistek did have a seasoning that left in the pallet a sour taste. It was cooked well, and not to bad but really not for me to try again. I went hoping they had a combo with rice and beans, but they didn’t. The big flour tortilla was also of bistec. Beans were sold separately. Small corn tortilla tacos are $1.50 each.Tables outside were really dirty.“

“These tacos were delicious. I got the al pastor, chicken fajita, and carnitas tacos with flour tortillas for a total of $9.50. They take cash only. The onions and cilantro made the tacos extra flavourful, and the salsas were spicy and tasty. They specialize in mini tacos, but I did not try them as they are only on corn tortillas. They don't display the taco prices, which is inconvenient, but the prices are cheap. They give buzzers, which seems completely unnecessary. The area the taco truck is in is quite sketchy. There were three men staring at us, including one who was very, very slowly approaching us. There are tables and benches, but we did not sit down.“

“The food was amazing. The staff is kind and friendly. Indoor seating is a bit small, but there is additional seating outside as well. Overall great vibes from this place. The menu is tacos and burritos with specials sprinkled in. I will make it back to try their menudo on a Saturday.“

“First time eating at this place. Got fajitas for one which was plenty for two people for sure. Very tasty and delicious. Chips and salsa were really great as well. If a place brings you chips and salsa to start and it’s not good……. Get up and go! Will definitely be back to try other dishes.“

“I recently dined at this Mexican restaurant and overall had a great experience. The atmosphere was lively and festive, with colorful decor and upbeat music playing in the background. The service was friendly and efficient, with our server providing helpful recommendations on the menu. The food was delicious and authentic, with each dish bursting with flavor. I particularly enjoyed the carne asada tacos and the freshly made guacamole. The portion sizes were generous and the prices were reasonable. The only reason I didn't give this restaurant a 5 star rating is because the wait time for a table was longer than expected, but once we were seated, the experience was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for tasty Mexican cuisine in a fun and vibrant setting.“

“Threw a party here for my husband today. This is the best sol de Jalisco out of all of the ones . Best service, nice atmosphere with their lounge and patio as well at their nice private party room. Israel was our waiter. He was very attentive with our big group, very polite, our party crew was very impressed! Thank y’all so much and to Jeremy the GM. He has been very communicative and accommodating with my party plans !“

“Very friendly service. First time here. Little pricey for street tacos. Al pastor was amazing. You can tell it’s well marinated. Birria tacos were very flavorful and the sauce was great. Burrito is nice and big. Chicken was a little dry and the steak a little more fatty than I like. But everything else was great. Even the sauce was good but not too overwhelming with heat. Tuesday taco box is offered. 20 tacos for $25!“
“They make the best birria (buy per pound) we pair them with their fresh tortillas (onlyCorn). I am generally a flour tortilla fan but their corn tortillas are so good their birria is only available on the weekends which makes me sad. But if y'all go and ask for it, maybe they'll offer it more than on weekends“

“We drove by and had to stop at this little cafe. This is where the locals are going. We've been for both breakfast and lunch. It definitely has a small town cafe feel. The food is terrific! The carne guisada is tender and flavorful. I loved the veggie omelette for breakfast! The staff is friendly and one nice lady talked with us and gave us suggestions for family activities in the surrounding areas. We will definitely go back!“

“We go there every three weeks with a group of 6 to 10 guys. The food is good and maybe some dishes are even great. But, the prices, in my opinion, are way too high. A Mexican Beer is over $5 while you can get it other locations for under $4. The meals, while good, are too expensive also. A simple tostada and a beer was just about $10. Way too much for what you get. But a lot of the guys like it more than I do so we'll keep going.“
