The Gumbo is fantastic and the chicken and the pecan praline waffle is out of this world!! You definitely will not be disappointed with anything!! “We walked into Sudie’s after a funeral, completely unannounced with a large party of 40 people. The management team went above and beyond to accommodate us. Chicken fried steak was very bland today.
Mac and cheese has been watery with no flavor for last 2 visits.
Corn was even blah! How do you blah up corn?
The little lady that got us our drinks was very sweet and hard working that's why I'm just knocking off 1 star for service. But the waitress...as long as yours not asking her for assistance with something, she might be ok. But I feel like she would spit in my food for wanting to exchange something out. She's really not the warm and friendly type of waitress...I guess a job is a job. I get it...but dang Gina!“

I want to smell food while Im eating...Im not meditating and dont like the smell of burning deodorant. I know they work here and are sick of the chicken smell but this is about customers with money. That does not mix. Burn that crap at home. Im sticking to Texas City Hartz which has more options and cheaper without the weird smell.“
