I was actually there yesterday when the lady served the customer who left the negative review. None of what she wrote is true; I was right there, and at no point was she treated poorly. “I normally don’t like to leave bad reviews, but this has happened multiple times now—about three or four visits. Each time, I ask for one thing, and they give me something else instead. Then, when I correct the order, they end up charging me more, even though the mistake was on their end.

For example, today I asked for a large corn in a cup, and instead they gave me a whole corn on the cob. I politely corrected it, and while they did give me the large cup, they charged me more—even though the original mistake wasn’t mine.

I really don’t appreciate being charged extra for fixing something I didn’t mess up. I hope this can be improved, because I do enjoy the food.

Update: One of the owners came out to personally apologize for the inconvenience. He explained that they strive to provide good service and made things right, which I really appreciated. This place is one of my favorite spots when everything goes smoothly, and it’s clear the owner cares about customer service. I definitely recommend stopping by and trying their snacks—the food is great, and it’s good to see them working to bring the service up to par with the quality of the food.“

“I know some people will have different experiences. Mine was good, went for my kiddos. Just a blue coconut sno cone, flavoring was good, shaved ice was good, no complaints. They are cash only, and it looks like they do have alot of flavors but some are marked out so maybe they are in the process of changing/adding to the menu.
My other kiddo just got plain shaved ice and she loved it.
We would definitely come back, our wait time wasn't long, also we went on like a Monday, so it seemed steady but we didnt wait long.“

I had never been to this location so called to confirm they sold cakes. The customer service on the phone was upbeat and friendly. The service at the store when I arrive was equal to the call (friendly and helpful). While I waited for the cake (very quick) to be personalized, I observed great and efficient service for each customer in line. Great store!! Until next time.“

“I had not been to Dairy Queen in years. I must say a welcome surprise. The menu offered new and different food choices. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak sandwich and it was fantastic. The service at the Red Oak location off Orvilla Rd and 35 access rd was fantastic. We were with treated with good southern hospitality. Tracie the manager made us feel welcomed and brought our food to us at the table. Just plain good customer service. Very rare for a fast food place. We dined in and will definitely go back. “Hate the atmosphere, weird at the gas station. Food is A1 when they give you what you ordered.... had to fix my burger today because it was made wrong. Last week me and my girlfriend also at from here and they gave her the wrong drink and Tater Tots instead of the groovy fries that we asked for.
