“I found Paleteria La super on TikTok while I was looking for a paleta cart to rent for a graduation party. They explained things very well over TikTok messages, which I was incredibly pleased with. The paleta cart was $83 for 50 paletas, excluding a $50 cash-only deposit. The rental included dry ice, and it could be returned any time the next day. It was a big hit at the party, and I highly recommend.“

“My family was out for a day of fun in Dallas. When it was time for lunch we asked our kids what they wanted to eat. They said ice cream. We found Josie’s and it seemed like the perfect compromise. My wife and 4 year old split a cheese burger, my 7 year old got nachos, I had a beef torta, and my kids had an ice cream cone apiece. I was pleasantly surprised. It doesn’t look fancy but the food is good, the portions are generous and the staff were friendly, even when my 7 year old mistook the jars of Agua Fresca for ice cream and said “the ice cream here is gross.” If you’re in the area and hungry, it’s definitely worth a stop.“

“I normally don’t like to leave bad reviews, but this has happened multiple times now—about three or four visits. Each time, I ask for one thing, and they give me something else instead. Then, when I correct the order, they end up charging me more, even though the mistake was on their end.

For example, today I asked for a large corn in a cup, and instead they gave me a whole corn on the cob. I politely corrected it, and while they did give me the large cup, they charged me more—even though the original mistake wasn’t mine.

I really don’t appreciate being charged extra for fixing something I didn’t mess up. I hope this can be improved, because I do enjoy the food.

Update: One of the owners came out to personally apologize for the inconvenience. He explained that they strive to provide good service and made things right, which I really appreciated. This place is one of my favorite spots when everything goes smoothly, and it’s clear the owner cares about customer service. I definitely recommend stopping by and trying their snacks—the food is great, and it’s good to see them working to bring the service up to par with the quality of the food.“

“The girls serve well and quickly, the place is clean, the only thing is that the prepared mineral waters are terrible, very spicy and I definitely didn't like them. The snow is fine so there are things that are fine and it depends on each person's taste.“

“A beautiful little ice cream shop off Belt Line Road. Seating is extremely limited, but the service is excellent. In addition to Mexican traditions such as raspados (snow cones) and licuados (similar to a smoothie), you can still find most of your favorite ice creams, made by Blue Bell. My chocolate shake was perfect, a good size for a medium, and made with three generous scoops of chocolate.

Now, this doesn't mean they're perfect. Leaving aside that the staff speak very little English (phone translation apps are your friend), the prices are at least twice what you'd pay at Braums. But for an occasional indulgence with great local flavor (and a side in nachos and elotes), they're terrific!“
