“First time at Texas celebrating our anniversary. From the time we walked through the doors to the hostess to walking outside (stormy and they had men offering to walk you to your car with umbrellas) to leave top notched service. Food was amazing, service fabulous, drinks tasty and on point. Everyone was friendly, professional and gave top notch service. Highly recommend!!“
“Met one of the owners. She is so sweet and seems so passionate about her establishment. The shots are AMAZING so you’ll definitely want to try. The slushies are great as well and were the main star. The amount you’re getting for the price you pay I think is a really great deal. They also have rewards account so that’s a bonus. Very good flavors and they were quick!“
“We recently took our family to Andreas Steakhouse in Allen, and while the menu might be a bit more geared towards adults, it was a great experience overall. I had a fantastic ribeye, and my wife raved about the scallops. The lobster mac and cheese was a hit with our girls and our son enjoyed the chicken parmesan. The service was top-notch, exactly what you'd expect from a high-end steakhouse. Just a heads up that they do have a dress code, and there's valet parking for the front spots which we weren't quite expecting. Overall, it's a perfect place for a nice date night, but would probably work best for older kids or those with more adventurous palates. We'll definitely be back for a special occasion!“
“It goes without saying that American restaurant food is salty. But my tongue is cracked hahaha. I don't drink much water, so I ate here and drank 3 liters of water for 3 days and 2 nights. The people are nice, the atmosphere is casual, and it's perfect for watching sports while drinking a beer after work.“
“Trinity was great and very helpful for my big party. She was so patient with the kids. The food was great and the service was awesome. We will be back again:Kid-friendliness: The kids enjoy when the cooks put on a show and playWheelchair accessibility: Lots of space for handicap“
“It is an old house converted to a modern rustic restaurant. The food is amazing and I can’t wait to go back and try everything on their plentiful menu. Value-oriented lunch options as well as well-loved specialties make it so hard to choose. They smoke and grill the meats and even the romaine lettuce which brings so much depth and flavor to their creative dishes.“
“We love Jhonny's food! Usually the service is also topnotch but the woman serving us was distracted talking to the other employees and seemed fairly uninterested in serving us. Of course it's run down but that's part of what's to love!Kid-friendliness: Totally kid friendly“
“Decided to go here on a complete whim to meet a friend. I was pleasantly surprised with the menu selection, quality of food and the amount of people that were there on a Friday night, around 8:00 p.m., to eat dinner. The food actually exceeded my expectations, only one star off for service. They were busy at the time, especially 8:00 p.m. in the evening, so it was hard to assign four stars instead of five, but it did take a little long to get just a couple of dinner salads.Lastly, although the atmosphere was extremely lively, and the decor was appropriate for the restaurant, the music playing in the background was reminiscent of being in a taqueria somewhere in the barrio. Cumbia music being played at max volume (at an appropriate, authentic Mexican eating establishment) is cool at a place where you expect to hear that genre of music, but I was surprised to walk into a business that "forced" it's consumers to immerse themselves into that specific 'cultural' atmosphere at a seafood restaurant. I was good with it, however that may not be everyone's jam.Overall, four stars and the good experience. I think they just need to throttle the volume of their background music back a little bit, so people can actually talk without having to raise their voices.“
“I went on a Saturday to watch football with family and friends. THEY HAVE A FOOD TRUCK CALLED “Rooster Roo” IT IS AMAZING. Hot chicken that is cooked to order. The area was family and kid friendly. Will definitely be back for the vibe and ROOSTER “
“Wow. Just wow. I just wanted a drink. I knew Back Yard was there, but I had never been. So I stopped in, and I'm really glad I did. It feels like everyone who greets you is the owner, and they genuinely care about how you feel. Everyone, and I mean everyone, cares about your experience. I arrived hoping to sit at the bar (in back) but it was full, so I grabbed a table nearby. I was quickly served and the drinks were perfect. I just wanted one drink. I planned to leave after that, but one turned to two. I looked theough the menu and everything jumped out at me. I couldn't decide. So I asked the waitress to surprise me, and she did. I had a really great burger with baked beans. It was so good. I had two waitresses and a manager, as well as the bartender taking care of me. It was such a wonderful experience. The ambience is perfect. I didn't go out in the back yard, but lots of people did. Everyone looked like they were having a good time. Three thumbs up. Food, Service, and Ambience were all perfect. I will be back.“
“My brother and I had a quick lunch here to catch up, and I was supremely impressed. There is an outdoor waiting area, although there was no wait at lunchtime. Our host was very friendly, asking if we had been to the restaurant before (which I hadn't). Apparently, this info was passed on to the server as she walked us through the menu, specialty drink options, and unique menu items. The atmosphere was what I would call fun, friendly Tex Mex. There is a full service bar, indoor and patio eating spaces, and areas for larger groups. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and efficient but didn't rush us through our meal. The fajaitas were out of this world, and the shrimp/pablano enchiladas were incredible. The food had the perfect mix of spicy and tasty without being overly hot or overbearing on the palate. Parking was plentiful, and overall, my experience was incredible. If I didn't live 1.5 hrs away, this restaurant would become part of my wife and Is date spots.Parking: Plentiful parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Many handicap spots available.“
“I went in with the expectation of a cute little speakeasy environment, fun drinks and maybe upscale bar food. OMG!!!!!! Megan was an amazing server and helped guide us through the adventurers of their menu. We are 3 appetizers: Bang Bang Shrimp, Chicken Fried Lobster Deviled Eggs, and, my absolute most favorite, Roasted Wagyu Marrow Bruschetta. Not thinking the appetizers could be topped, the Rack of Lamb hit the table. The mint Chimichurri was the perfect balance for the juicy tender lamb. Death by Decadence is a perfect end to one of the best meals I have ever eaten. I will be going back and continuing on the best menu journey Megan will lead. Because Megan proved her worth when she brought out a whiskey drink with a marshmallow on fire!!“
“I love Brass Tap, left my phone here lastnight and I accidentally left my phone and not only did they keep my phone in a safe place, it was fully charged when I picked it up the next morning. The staff is unbelievable, shout out to Madison, Skylar, Nico for the best service EVER!“
“i had a wonderful experience here. it was my first time dining here and the food was lovely. my server was a nice girl named Sage! she is very pretty and was very kind. she offered great recommendations, was funny and helpful, very insightful, and just all around wonderful service. will definitely look forward to coming back here and hopefully getting her service again!“
“We finally tried Creekside Fine Grill on 544 in Wylie. We made a reservation as a party of six and were walked right to our table when we arrived. We were treated to a circular booth which is always great for conversation. Almost everyone ordered something different off the menu. The Chicken Parmesan was massive with two pieces of chicken over shell pasta. I selected off of the "Pick 3" menu and chose 3 seafood items which were all good. The service was great with lots of attention to drink refills and anything we needed. The decor is "Fine" but there were several patrons in casual attire. The average price of the meals we ordered were $16 to $23 but they do offer some sandwiches and burgers for less. We recommend Creekside Fine Dining if you have been wanting to give it a try.“
