“I have went to Baskin-Robbins 4 times in the past few weeks. Each time I am refused service for extended periods of time while other patrons are treated with grace. It is my approach to treat everyone with kindness, but this evening ,I was once again not greeted warmly or told that someone would be right with me. One of the associates began to serve people that had just walked in before me despite serving my friend. I assumed that perhaps the person was shy but when two more patrons entered, the sales associate warmly greeted them. It was at that point that I decided not to make a purchase. I am deeply disappointed at these actions. I can only help but feel these acts are racially motivated. I will not name names because I am not seeking to get anyone fired but I think a greater lesson can be learned.“

“This place reminds me of a combination of a vintage ice cream parlor and Dairy Queen. Dairy Queen because of the food items on the menu.

I've been to 46 states, 16 countries, and 4 continents so far and this place has the best ice cream shakes that I can remember ever having. Even the root beer float (my son ordered) was pretty flipping good. I would really recommend this place, especially on a hot summer afternoon.“

“great food and very friendly staff that makes you feel that you have the choice of wearing a mask or not. Their hamburger beats the taste of McDonald's and Burger King by far. Their butterfly shrimp, fried cod fish and roast are excellent and well seasoned.“

“Dolcetti Gelato is a fantastic local find. The gelato is rich, creamy, and tastes like authentic Italian gelato rather than typical ice cream. “I went there in the afternoon of August 20th 2025. The ice cream was very good nice and creamy. The service though wasn't very good. I ordered a medium mint chocolate chip ice cream in a dish with chocolate sprinkles. The young man brought me out the ice cream went out sprinkles. I reminded him I wanted chocolate sprinkles but when it came out it had rainbow sprinkles. Obviously the kid was not listening or paying attention.“

“I got the Toasted Coconut Half size serving in a cup with cake pieces and coco pebbles. It was the perfect size but the ice cream was very rich. Small seating area inside enough for like 10 people. Line will easily stretch out the door because lack of space inside which is understandable. Bathroom was clean, nice and orderly. Customer service was friendly. There's a few benches outside near to sit. All gluten free and vegan options for the ice cream as well. Would return again.“

I got their taco there was a little bit of a wait, especially because it was late at night but it was definitely worth it. Their dirty sodas are also really good and super affordable. “There is absolutely nothing quite like hitting Freddy’s at 5:00 AM to kick off a travel day. If you are catching an early flight out of SLC, this spot is a total lifesaver. What makes it so incredible is the absolute flexibility of the menu because they do not limit you to standard breakfast food. If your body clock is completely scrambled and you want a burger at dawn, you can order almost anything off the regular daytime menu right alongside their breakfast items.

Apparently a cheeseburger at sunrise is perfectly acceptable but frozen custard at five in the morning is where society draws the line, which is probably for the best.

To top it all off, the morning crew here is incredible. Being that energetic, friendly, and efficient so early in the day is a massive win. They get you moving and on your way with a smile, making this hands down the best stop in the airport before your flight.“
