“My gf and I were looking for a new Chinese restaurant last night and were fortunate to find this place. Our meal was amazing- she got the Pon Pon Chicken dinner and I had the Mongolian beef. It was hot , fresh and way above our expectations. The cream cheese wontons were fantastic- definitely not the frozen ones we’ve had elsewhere. We both highly recommend Mountain City!!“

“Love this place! I travel a lot and had to move away, but I always take my family back here every time I'm in town. Food is delicious, my husband loves it and my kids overeat. Our favorite savory dishes are Sesame Chicken, General Tso's Chicken, Spicy Pepper Beef. Side dishes such as vegetable fried rice, egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, and cream cheese wontons are very basic but they are made well. I really took it for granted when I was living there. Now the next best place is in New York.“

“We love this place. When you weigh the food, you think it will be super expensive, but really it's the opposite and you get a lot of food for your money. When we first tried this place, we asked how much a bowl of rice would be for our baby, and the cashier was so kind to let us know it was free and that he could have one. Even my daughter, who can be very picky loved the options given and even tried new items as well. This place has instantly become on of our favorite places to eat and we can't wait to come back and eat some more!“

Like they always say; an Asian restaurant that looks a little run-down on the outside is usually run by authentic owners who specialize in their own home-style dishes.
The customer service while I waited for my over-the-phone order was phenomenal. The nice lady chatted with me while I waited, and there was only one other person inside before me.
Inside, it looks like your typical Asian fast takeout spot. But once you smell and taste the food, prepare to be blown away.

“A friend of mine from Hong Kong recommended this place to me and said it’s the most legit Chinese food in the valley and he wasn’t lying! I ordered the fried rice and added the roast pork and it was incredible! The pork was top quality and was delightfully crispy on top! Best fried rice I’ve had in Utah! My husband ordered the basic fried noodle and it was like boring hot pasta salad (spaghetti noodles) and didn’t taste fried. I would pass on that dish, but the fried rice was great!“

Granted we were the only ones there, but we were sat immediately and had drinks within a couple minutes. Not long after ordering, the food started coming! We had our soup just a minute or 2 after ordering, then our egg rolls and wontons just a few minutes after that. We didn't even get to finish before entrees started coming!

“Paiks noodle has become one of our go-to places to eat.

It is Korean Chinese food. Service is good and fast.

We usually get the jajangmyeon, pork or chicken tangsuyuk (sweet and sour), and kkanpunggi (spicy chicken). But we've also come to enjoy the lemon chicken and japchae rice. The mandu is also good!

For the tangsuyuk, we prefer to pour the sauce over the meat (bumeok style) instead of dipping (jjingmeok)“

“My wife wanted Chinese food for dinner tonight. I drove by the red dragon 100 times but never stopped. I asked if she wanted to try it and she agreed. It looks small like a fast food restaurant but was totally shocked at the food and the price! Excellent service, and the food was amazing! Such great food and service that is so rare to find anymore. My wife said after her first bite of the orange chicken was the best she ever had. The egg flour soup and sweet and sour pork I had was amazing! Now our goal is to taste everything on the menu. Our daughter ordered the Cơm Heo (rice served with pork), which was beautifully presented and featured tender, well-seasoned pork served alongside fluffy rice and fresh vegetables that she thoroughly enjoyed.

To accompany our meal, we also ordered a Matcha Boba Tea (green tea milk tea with tapioca pearls). It was smooth, creamy, and refreshing, with a rich matcha flavor that wasn’t overly sweet. The chewy boba pearls added a fun texture and made it the perfect drink to enjoy alongside our food.

“We used to get canton all the time before they move to this location. Now they don't deliver to our area anymore so we haven't gotten it in a long time. But love this place always get takeout and have always got plenty of soy sauce, and food. Maybe the cook was having a bad day when the other person got the nasty food.
