“Moving from Seattle area to Utah was rough regarding finding good coffee—I’m so glad I tried Daily Espresso on a whim! The ladies who work there are super nice and the coffee is sourced from a local coffee bean roasting company in Salt Lake. It is so smooth and delicious! Also, do try their chai latte—either the vanilla or spiced—it is divine and I’ve converted multiple friends to it! Try it out—you’ll likely love it! :)“

“My husband and I love supporting small business and we have been a fan of Un Cafecito for a while. Their drinks are always great, and their pastries make a perfect pairing. However, they recently upped their pricing and I’m not sure we will be able to come back as often. $8.50 for an iced latte without any modifications, plus $4.50 if you would like some coffee cake is unfortunately more expensive than most local cafes. With a tip, you are looking at $25+ for a coffee date for two. We will continue to support Un Cafecito, just likely from afar for now.“

“Great coffee shop, which led to a great start to my morning! A little pricey, but for a good cause, the doggo's, so it balances out!

I ordered a cafe americano (hot, black), and the potato, egg, and cheese burrito, and both were amazing! I couldn't believe how the cheese was bonding the ingredients so well, throughout the entire burrito! Then the coffee was smooth and bold, not to mention the perfect sipping temperature!

10/10 for sure will go back.“

“TENET is the cutest place! It’s connected to Torrent Cycle and I met the owner Mike and he’s so kind! I got a fresh pumpkin muffin right out of the oven and it was DIVINE. So flavorful and moist. I also loved their zucchini muffin. I ordered the PBC chocolate peanut butter shake because it has 33g of protein and it did not disappoint. This place is tucked away and is truly a hidden gem of Salt Lake! Definitely worth stopping by. I want to try their paninis next time.“

“My favorite coffee! High Point has delicious coffee roasts and many options. All the staff here have great energy and are so sweet and considerate. The shop helps out the local community by providing space for local creators to sell their merchandise and there are cozy places to sit and work or chat in the shop.

If you are getting a coffee to go, as I usually am, the workers are pretty quick and the line has never been very long for me. I highly recommend grabbing their egg and cheese bites if you want an extra boost for your morning. Their danishes are also delicious and they will warm them up for you. If you forgot your lunch, they have lunch boxes you can get for $10 that include a sandwich and some snacks. They also support a lot of charities and local movements and their window usually has more info on how you can help them with that.

“Best coffee in Utah. I hadn’t been into coffee as much UNTIL I tried Urban Sailor’s coffee. I’m hooked! Bye Starbucks, forever! I’ll be supporting my local brewer from now on, not only is it tastier, it’s a family owned and operated business, love that! (I also really like their chai tea. “My husband and I are always looking for somewhere to go midweek for a coffee date, he found this place on a Google search and we decided to give it a try.

We came in just after 9 o’clock on a Tuesday and walked right up to the counter ordered and had our coffee within a reasonable amount of time. The customer service was fantastic. They were so friendly and full of suggestions. The overall atmosphere is welcoming and inviting and we felt like we were not rushed.

I’m not a sweet coffee lover, but I was intrigued and tried the cookie butter latte. I was pleasantly surprised. It’s the perfect balance of sweet and salty and I could not recommend this more. My husband tried a Horchata latte which was equally delicious. We also got a slice of banana bread, which was one of our favorites as well as a butterscotch scone.

“We do not dine out often due to the poor food quality of many restaurants; however, when our friends found this organic, gluten-free diner, I was intrigued. The food was an absolute celebration of life. Delectable delights danced on an ambrosial causeway of artistic creation few eateries achieve. Our table ordered a variety of entrees and drinks. We started with complimentary chips, avocado and verde sauce. Very tasty. For the main course, I choose enchiladas and was curious about the horchata (rice milk soaked in cream with cinnamon), so I had this as well. Normally, I do not order specialty drinks, but their horchata was an exceptional experience as was the hand-squeezed limeade. I highly recommend both. Reading many of the other reviews that criticized the room temperature water, the service, and the ambiance, I must adamantly disagree. The best temperature for water when dining is room temperature. And their water is finely filtered and refreshing. The service may be perceived as slow, but I love being left to chat and laugh with my party. I relish this time. A meal out should be relaxing in a friendly, pleasant atmosphere without feeling rushed—and it was. The dining area is a little noisy, like most restaurants in this country. As an experienced sound engineer, I would recommend some sound absorbers blended into the corners, some appropriate picturesque art absorbers on the walls, and maybe a row of carpet down the main walkway to absorb sound and define the lovely wait staff’s path. The price: well worth it. You will not be disappointed. Spend without regret, and enjoy the articulation of tastes that shall frolic upon thy palate. “Stopped by Coffee Noir this morning before my hike, and I immediately understood why it’s such a local favorite. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, it has that cozy, hidden-gem feel. The indoor space is on the smaller side, but the seating is thoughtfully arranged and the patio is absolutely adorable.

I ordered the JCCC, and it was the perfect balance of sweet without being overpowering, and it came out fast, which was much appreciated before hitting the trail. Great coffee, great atmosphere, and an easy place to love. I’d absolutely go back.“

“Solid 4/5 star coffee shop. It’s a fun vibe, I like how it’s small and quirky. The drinks were good, nothing special though. They only had one roast to choose from, and the staff was fine, not very fun and bubbly like your typical coffee shop. Not sure that I’ll go back, but definitely in a fun location and worth swinging by if your a block or two away.“
