“I went here for the first time the other day and their coffee and food were delicious. They offer three different roast levels for their beans. I tried their darker roast. It had such a yummy smoky flavor to it. I also got a breakfast burrito with sausage and avacado added. That was satisfying as well. Their prices were reasonable. This is a must try spot!“

I didn’t know they didn’t take Apple Pay and she just gave me my drink for free which is genuinely the sweetest thing ever and she did not have to do that so I will be coming back and paying double next time don’t worry!!! “I live in Colorado and never heard of Alpha Coffee. I visited Salt Lake City, and friend recommended we meet at the downtown location. I ordered an "Aztec" and it was great. Something different, new and tasty for me. I liked the drink, the vibe and the servers ... the whole experience was great! I look forward to my next visit to SLC. Every drink I've had has been great and while it is a little pricey, I understand and appreciate the quality ingredients being used (I watched as the local milk delivery happened and can see that they are supporting local businesses, which is great).

But the long waits in line are what have me hesitating a next visit. Every time I go, I wait at least 7-10 minutes just to place an order. Not because theres a long line, but because they have on person up front taking orders AND making drinks. And then it takes another 7-10 minutes to get my drink. Wish you would figure out your work flow a little better.“

“This shop is one of my favorite places to relax with a good coffee. The art displays (which are purchasable pieces from local artists) has a way of making you feel connected.

There's usually only one staff member, so sometimes you have to wait a bit for your coffee, but each cup is made with care and they have good options.

“MiaoMiao Cafe is such an amazing spot for cat lovers! 🐾 The space is super clean, cozy, and welcoming, and the owners are so kind and clearly care deeply for their cats. The café and cat house are in two connected houses (separate spaces), and you can bring your drink inside when you visit the cats. All of the cats were sweet, playful, and cuddly you can tell they’re well-loved. They even had kittens available when we went! Just a heads up: not everything on the food menu may be available, but honestly, the coffee and drinks are 10/10, and that alone made it worth it for us. We didn’t get to try the food this time, but we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a fun, relaxing, and heartwarming experience!“

“We do not dine out often due to the poor food quality of many restaurants; however, when our friends found this organic, gluten-free diner, I was intrigued. The food was an absolute celebration of life. Delectable delights danced on an ambrosial causeway of artistic creation few eateries achieve. Our table ordered a variety of entrees and drinks. We started with complimentary chips, avocado and verde sauce. Very tasty. For the main course, I choose enchiladas and was curious about the horchata (rice milk soaked in cream with cinnamon), so I had this as well. Normally, I do not order specialty drinks, but their horchata was an exceptional experience as was the hand-squeezed limeade. I highly recommend both. Reading many of the other reviews that criticized the room temperature water, the service, and the ambiance, I must adamantly disagree. The best temperature for water when dining is room temperature. And their water is finely filtered and refreshing. The service may be perceived as slow, but I love being left to chat and laugh with my party. I relish this time. A meal out should be relaxing in a friendly, pleasant atmosphere without feeling rushed—and it was. The dining area is a little noisy, like most restaurants in this country. As an experienced sound engineer, I would recommend some sound absorbers blended into the corners, some appropriate picturesque art absorbers on the walls, and maybe a row of carpet down the main walkway to absorb sound and define the lovely wait staff’s path. The price: well worth it. You will not be disappointed. Spend without regret, and enjoy the articulation of tastes that shall frolic upon thy palate. “I was passing through Salt Lake for a few days. Of the two coffee place I tried while here I loved this place way more. I tried the Chai Latte, Mexican Mocha, and a Vanilla Latte. They were all very well made and tasty.

This place also has a great vibe. There is this sticker machine upstairs. The machine only takes quarters so make sure to bring your change. I was too chicken to ask for change. So don’t forget quarters!

One more update the restroom has pads and tampons. I appreciate when places do this. It feels like they care in their customers. A small thing but it shows that they’re run by a human being.“
