“My wife is a foodie and wanted to show me this place. Upon entering I had my hesitations… but after trying the Curry Ramen I knew that I had just found my new favorite ramen place. I recommend this place to anyone who has a love for ramen! My son's also loved the pictures on the wall and especially the katana that was displayed on the Front counter!“

“my family and I really enjoy Mr. Shabu. We have mainly been for the sushi, and have really liked it. The Playboy Roll, which is sort of my go to roll, I'm torn if they are number 1 or 2 when it comes to the place I like it the most. but we have enjoyed many other rolls their. but we also appreciate their wall of ramen which is great for my daughter who is trying to like more sushi, but isn't all the way there yet. it make it easy for her to still get a full dinner, but also try some sushi as well. “Loved the calm and simplistic atmosphere, and the food was incredibly satisfying! Definitely surpassed my expectations. The staff was sweet, prompt, and helpful, and the owner (Lily) was personable and caring. We will definitely be returning for many more date nights to come! “The FOOD was even better on a lunch special price. It had all of this pictured (Haiku) and miso soup to start. I left feeling so full and filled with quality food. “This is by far my favorite ramen place in Utah. I’ve been so many times and realized I’ve never written a review. As someone who has spent a considerable amount of time in Japan their Tsukemen is the closest thing I’ve found to Japan. I get it every time and it’s 100% my comfort meal. I can’t recommend it enough. I bring all my family and friends here.“

“We are big fans of Koyote, especially the vegan Tantan-men and tofu whip, so when this Japanese-Italian fusion restaurant opened we were eager to check it out. Thankfully, there are vegan options on the menu, and they’re quite good. An additional vegan entrée would make the choices even better.

The décor of the restaurant is stunning. The wine selection was pretty good. The service was great as well. Overall, a great addition to Salt Lake City’s dining scene.“

“Sakura is awesome.
First the Food. Everything is freshly made, hot, and very good. I've had the chicken, steak, and salmon teriyaki, all of which are fantastic. The plates are massive, and I often have lots of leftovers. The smaller bowls are also a full meal, and often what I order. The drinks are made fresh as well, and I am fond of the Thai Tea and Sakura Coffee. The Boba is fresh made and hot, which makes for a really fun and unique experience, with the ice cold beverage and warm Boba. Its a treat!
Their sushi is also fairly good.

The staff is great. The owners are extremely nice, and very helpful.

The restaurant is small, but well taken care of. Its clean, bright, and not too loud.

“Fun family experience and yummy food. The chef was very talented, lots of the normal hibachi experience: throwing eggs, fire, throwing shrimp in each persons mouth, etc. the food was delicious and each thing was the perfect temperature. They give everyone 2 sauces plus soy sauce on the table so you can season more as needed. We brought up an allergy to peas and she assured us they didn’t use it in the fried rice.“

“We stopped by this ramen place after visiting the zoo at night..it was freezing cold, and this was the only “noodles” place open late, so we decided to give it a try. The food was pretty good, but it’s definitely on the pricey side. Ramen in Utah is a bit overpriced in general.

The noodles didn’t taste like traditional ramen, more like homemade noodles, but they were still tasty. We also ordered the chili pork dumplings, which weren’t quite what I expected (I thought they’d be similar to the ones from DTF), but they were okay.

He was nice, sweet and detailed about what I wanted. They didn't have any cold tea's and he made sure to get me a cup of ice with a straw. I also don't like cooked veggies, but he let me know he wasn't able to give me any of them unless they were cooked.

“I love almost everything here, and always go out of my way if I'm near one or see th we food truck! the one thing I did just have that was downright bizzar, and borderline gross was the Raspberry chicken. I'm curious if there is anyone thats gotten it more than once. I just sort of speed ate the chicken so I didn't waste the money, but couldn't handle the rice with that actual salad dressing, super sweet and tart sauce. then it also has blue cheese on it which is very strange, lol.“

“I have been coming here since they've opened and love their food. However, I am very disheartened lately how their cook Olden (I believe is his name) treats the other staff. He tends to get overwhelmed by tickets or special requests. When I've experienced this happening he seems as though he gets stressed out. Then he lashes out on the other staff around him, especially the owner's mother who works the register. I've experienced this on multiple occasions and it's frustrating to see. I love this place but it's beginning to make me not want to come here due to how he treats others. I have kept my mouth closed for the experience of other customers in the building. However, your staff don't deserve this type of treatment and I will be standing up for them the next time this happens in front of me. I've kept my mouth shut long enough.“
