“6 stars if I could. I've tried the chicken and beef and salmon teriyaki bowls, as well as the chicken katsu. They were all excellent, and the beef especially is a standout. I'm not normally a beef guy, but it's so good. Also the fried rice--it's actually rice that has been fried, much better than the vast majority of fried rice nowadays. All cooked fresh, best I can tell. Seriously, I'm really impressed with this place, especially at the price point. Friendly staff. I hope they stick around a long time.“

“We are big fans of Koyote, especially the vegan Tantan-men and tofu whip, so when this Japanese-Italian fusion restaurant opened we were eager to check it out. Thankfully, there are vegan options on the menu, and they’re quite good. An additional vegan entrée would make the choices even better.

“We came here for a Valentine’s date. Our meal was pretty pricey, but you get what you pay for. This was probably one of my favorite meals I’ve had in Salt Lake City. “We stopped by this ramen place after visiting the zoo at night..it was freezing cold, and this was the only “noodles” place open late, so we decided to give it a try. The food was pretty good, but it’s definitely on the pricey side. Ramen in Utah is a bit overpriced in general.

The noodles didn’t taste like traditional ramen, more like homemade noodles, but they were still tasty. We also ordered the chili pork dumplings, which weren’t quite what I expected (I thought they’d be similar to the ones from DTF), but they were okay.

Overall, it was a nice warm meal on a cold night, just wish the prices were a little more reasonable!“

He was nice, sweet and detailed about what I wanted. They didn't have any cold tea's and he made sure to get me a cup of ice with a straw. I also don't like cooked veggies, but he let me know he wasn't able to give me any of them unless they were cooked.

“Went there for the first time tonight with my husband! We will defiantly be back. Got fried calamari with 2 burritos one being the sumo California which is fried. Totally worth it! Plus it’s literally right down the street from my apartment. This will be a new favorite place for us“

“My family celebrated the birthday of my wife and our kids mom. We reserved the big table with the rotating table top. It was so fun. Jeff was our incredible waiter. He was truely the BEST. HE was so friendly and attentive. The entire family felt so relaxed and taken care of. Our 2 grand daughters interacted with him and they remember his name still. This guy was incredible. “I love almost everything here, and always go out of my way if I'm near one or see th we food truck! the one thing I did just have that was downright bizzar, and borderline gross was the Raspberry chicken. I'm curious if there is anyone thats gotten it more than once. I just sort of speed ate the chicken so I didn't waste the money, but couldn't handle the rice with that actual salad dressing, super sweet and tart sauce. then it also has blue cheese on it which is very strange, lol.“

“The food is always great at Tsunami. I made a mistake with my reservation and accidentally booked it for 2 people instead 5! I realized my mistake as our reservation was getting close. I called up and Ryan (Manager), upon hearing my situation was able to work with me and get all 5 of us seated right on time. I really appreciate the way he handled the whole thing. We'll keep going to Tsunami in Union Heights!“

“I have been coming here since they've opened and love their food. However, I am very disheartened lately how their cook Olden (I believe is his name) treats the other staff. He tends to get overwhelmed by tickets or special requests. When I've experienced this happening he seems as though he gets stressed out. Then he lashes out on the other staff around him, especially the owner's mother who works the register. I've experienced this on multiple occasions and it's frustrating to see. I love this place but it's beginning to make me not want to come here due to how he treats others. I have kept my mouth closed for the experience of other customers in the building. However, your staff don't deserve this type of treatment and I will be standing up for them the next time this happens in front of me. I've kept my mouth shut long enough.“
