Knowing we were going through Salt Lake on vacation we just had to stop and taste for ourselves. Wow, is an understatement. “The food has great flavors. I was very impressed and it exceeded my expectations. I don't understand how it wasn't busier on a Friday night around dinner time. Maybe people just don't realize how good it is or the word hasn't gotten out. ??‍♀️ We ordered the pepper chicken, tikka masala, butter chicken, onion naan, and rice pudding. Everything was good but especially the pepper chicken and tikka masala. I definitely recommend giving it a try!”

“This place is such a vibe. The place is set up nicely. I have tried so many of their pastes and I honestly haven’t had a bad one. All their pastries and drinks that I’ve tries is phenomenal. I love coming here when I drive up to Salt Lake. I wish we had a branch down here in Orem. I would recommend any of their croissant donuts! They’re my favorite. The owner and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The store is also very clean, especially for a busy store.”

“Love the food here and the servers are great but after being here for an hour, the manager actually came to our table and told us to leave. Said the wait list is long and we can go to the lobby to socialize. By the way the lobby was nearly empty. We asked to talk to the manager, he said he was it and when we asked if he was serious, he chuckled and said yes. We even left an extra $20 for the server because we knew we’d be here longer. We are a paying table. I have never been asked to leave a restaurant - this is not how you treat your customers. Not a good practice to get people to come back. SO DISAPPOINTING!!!”

“Great neighborhood brewery. Beer is awesome and caters to all from light pilsners to triple IPAs that'll drop you on your butt. Food is tasty. Staff is super friendly. Ambiance is awesome with plenty of games to entertain you for hours. They also hosts live music and community events. Definitely must stop by if you're in the Cottonwood Heights area.”

“My wife and I recently moved to the Midvale area. We are now frequent customers of Great India. Tonight we ordered their Great India Special Appetizer, the Garlic Cheese Naan, and an order of Chicken Vindaloo (spicy). The flavor is incredible and the food so fresh. We talked with the owners (yep - locally owned, a big plus) and learned that they prepare the Naan when it's ordered, not heated up from earlier in the day. Its obvious! We couldn't recommend a restaurant more highly. Really one our favorites.”

“I have been coming here since they've opened and love their food. However, I am very disheartened lately how their cook Olden (I believe is his name) treats the other staff. He tends to get overwhelmed by tickets or special requests. When I've experienced this happening he seems as though he gets stressed out. Then he lashes out on the other staff around him, especially the owner's mother who works the register. I've experienced this on multiple occasions and it's frustrating to see. I love this place but it's beginning to make me not want to come here due to how he treats others. I have kept my mouth closed for the experience of other customers in the building. However, your staff don't deserve this type of treatment and I will be standing up for them the next time this happens in front of me. I've kept my mouth shut long enough.”

“The food was great and you get a LOT for the price with a lot of options for sides. My one complaint which is why the 4-star…. In this world of inflation, prices keep going higher and higher and I like to know what I’m paying before I get to the register. This is the 2nd place in the last week that posted one price on their menu and then charged a higher price and stated their menus are out of date. Most places it’s illegal to post one price and charge another but it seems like common deceptive practice lately. Please don’t up your prices until you put the effort in to change your price board.”

“The fried tofu at 7.5 spice is very mild. Good flavor, but if you're looking for more heat I'd say 9 is a better option. It's closer to Sriracha, but not too spicy yet. The apple and strawberry flavored milkies are also pretty good and not odd tasting. The Korean corn dogs are best served with corn flakes, and the all cheese weighs a decent amount. Overall, good value and the taste is worth the price.”

“it’s not bad! i love it for the convenience and the amount of flavors they have ? i wish the drinks were made consistently though. i always get my coffee with almond milk and today i got a double torture but it tasted kind of sour and very, very strong but not in a good way. the drink was also super dark which is how i can tell if the drink isn’t going to taste that good lol. however, the employees are usually super sweet and the line moves pretty fast”

“One of my favorite bars. Nothing but nice people and a quiet place to have a few drinks and enjoy nice pool tables with good cues. Not to mention it’s the only bar I’ve ever been to that has hand chalk. . I’ve had stuff stolen and ripped off and been threatened at just about every other bar I’ve been to. But not cheers midvale. “We love this place. The food is always consistent. They are willing to make small changes to our orders and we have never been disappointed. At first glance it is a little hole in the wall but the food makes everything worth it. We have done both dine in and take out. We have even had huge dinners with families and everyone loves it. I would say we eat here about once a month. Try it out you won’t regret it. I love the black bean chicken and hot and sour soup. They always use white meat and the flavors are robust. My husband tries different things each time and enjoys all of them. The prices are great and portions are easily shared.”

After I ordered The cashier said it will be 17.54 ( I was surprise because I just get a regular Combo for 12.99) also the machin request if I want to add a tip, I skiped the option however it still charged me a tip for the amount of 2.95. My food was 12.99 , Tax 1.07 and the automatic tip was 2.92. Almost 20% of my order price. I asked the cashier and she said " I do not charged you it is the machine " I explained her that I skipped that option and she said again "The machine does not me" She knew it what was happening she just tried to excuse.
