I do wish they'd have an option on door dash to hold jalapenos and add other ingredients, like king crab and fish eggs. people would pay extra. I would! I highly recommend this place but be careful, if you have them, you will get addicted! best ever!”

“Love the food here and the servers are great but after being here for an hour, the manager actually came to our table and told us to leave. Said the wait list is long and we can go to the lobby to socialize. By the way the lobby was nearly empty. We asked to talk to the manager, he said he was it and when we asked if he was serious, he chuckled and said yes. We even left an extra $20 for the server because we knew we’d be here longer. We are a paying table. I have never been asked to leave a restaurant - this is not how you treat your customers. Not a good practice to get people to come back. SO DISAPPOINTING!!!”

“My wife and I recently moved to the Midvale area. We are now frequent customers of Great India. Tonight we ordered their Great India Special Appetizer, the Garlic Cheese Naan, and an order of Chicken Vindaloo (spicy). The flavor is incredible and the food so fresh. We talked with the owners (yep - locally owned, a big plus) and learned that they prepare the Naan when it's ordered, not heated up from earlier in the day. Its obvious! We couldn't recommend a restaurant more highly. Really one our favorites.”

“I have been coming here since they've opened and love their food. However, I am very disheartened lately how their cook Olden (I believe is his name) treats the other staff. He tends to get overwhelmed by tickets or special requests. When I've experienced this happening he seems as though he gets stressed out. Then he lashes out on the other staff around him, especially the owner's mother who works the register. I've experienced this on multiple occasions and it's frustrating to see. I love this place but it's beginning to make me not want to come here due to how he treats others. I have kept my mouth closed for the experience of other customers in the building. However, your staff don't deserve this type of treatment and I will be standing up for them the next time this happens in front of me. I've kept my mouth shut long enough.”

“As I always do at every poke place I've been to, I created my own bowl. While they were scooping the protein/fish, I was disappointed. The scoops were very small, like 2 to 3 pieces of fish per scoop. However, I was very happy with the finished product! After diving into my bowl did then I understand why the scoops were so small. It was because the fish cuts were much bigger than usual! Each piece of sashimi was quite large. I was very happy they had kale noodles as a base. All in all, yummy food and good experience. Servers were good, place was clean.”

“This is our new go-to favorite Thai restaurant. The curries are rich and flavorful. The drunken noodles were saucy and the basil fried rice deserves an honorable mention. We will definitely be back!

“I have a beautiful friend that works here, she had recommended the good eats and when I was able to go I was in love with the overall place. You’re able to the have this great view of the mountains while you eat, big party or just yourself. They even have a bar you can sit at and watch the cooks.

With kids I had to use the bathroom, which was also a great experience, super clean and easy to get around in.

“The male manager on duty tonight at the University Oaks location in Round Rock TX was a wonderful representation of how a manager should run their store. I placed a mobile order on the app and added the breast cancer awareness bear. When I got there, he informed me that the bear has been sold out for a while now and he would let IT know since it was still being offered on the app. He tried to refund the money for the bear, but he said the system wouldn’t let him process it, so he refunded my entire order and gave me 3 Halloween cups for the inconvenience. That truly made my night and a wonderful start to the week. Thank you! 😊”

“Great NY style pizza. Solid flavor and a good cook on the undercarriage.

We got a large, and asked them to split the pie I half: cheese on one side, Hawaiian on the other.

It was all great, except the pineapple tasted like it was from a can like most pizza shops, so they get a slight deduction there. But it was still good, pineapple is hard to ruin.

Caution, this place is take-out only. So it’s not a great place for date night or a group outing.

Will definitely be returning, cuz the pizza was great. Highly recommend for NY style.”

Big fan of the Crookie, Guava Danish, Twist Donut, Chocolate Avalanche and Pain Au Chocolate. Always fresh. Always delicious. Always makes my mornings that much better!! TOUS les JOURS will always be my go to for a morning sweet or evening treat! I love this bakery with all my heart, not even joking!! I’m your biggest fan!! If I could get pastries here everyday I WOULD!!! Thank you for providing the best sweet treats around! I do miss the Ube cream filled donut though!!”

“The fried tofu at 7.5 spice is very mild. Good flavor, but if you're looking for more heat I'd say 9 is a better option. It's closer to Sriracha, but not too spicy yet. The apple and strawberry flavored milkies are also pretty good and not odd tasting. The Korean corn dogs are best served with corn flakes, and the all cheese weighs a decent amount. Overall, good value and the taste is worth the price.”

I’ve never heard of them or experienced them before. They did an amazing job!! This was better than I even expected. The staff was SO kind. “Echoing what others have said: the food is consistently really good for the price. Unlike other discount sushi places, Yi Sushi’s rolls have a variety of ingredients, flavors, and textures instead of just tempura shrimp and imitation crab on repeat.
But their customer service is pretty bad. The food is good enough to put up with it, but beware of the following:
- They are soooo slow. It took them over 30 minutes to take our order…on a Tuesday night. Don’t make plans after dinner, you will be late to them
- They say they take reservations but don’t trust them to honor it. I knew they had one table that could sit 12-14 people and I called right when they opened in the morning to reserve for a group that large for a birthday dinner. They told me I had a reservation but when we arrived, another group was sitting at the one large group table. I told the hostess that I had made a reservation and she went over to the other group and talked to them, but then she came back and split my group up into two tables without an explanation, apology, or peace offering.”

Burger 7/10. The patty didn't seem that great. I'd heard rave reviews, but I've had plenty of better burgers in SLC. They say they're made from scratch daily but to me it seemed like a flavor-lacking frozen patty. Surely it wasn't. Maybe just a bad day. And maybe they use extra lean meat which means less fat and flavor. Not sure.

“I ordered a soda, a large popcorn, and a little licious on the app for drive thru pickup. The service was quick. My soda was delicious (my favorite is a my jam). The popcorn though was terrible, almost inedible. It tasted burnt and had black speckles on a lot of it. I asked the employee and she said it was probably because the machine is old and the employees aren't allowed to clean the inside of the popper because they might break it. Get a new machine or don't sell popcorn! (Though I love getting a popcorn with my soda, so I vote new machine.) It was such a disappointment and waste of money. Soda and service: 5 stars. Popcorn: 0 stars.This was my first time at this location. I noticed they have a lobby with seating which is awesome! I will definitely be returning and hoping the popcorn machine gets cleaned thoroughly or replaced.”
