“We had an unusual birthday cake request for my 7 year olds birthday today. Being new to the area, I wandered in seeing the store to ask about ordering a cake. I’ve never heard of them or experienced them before. They did an amazing job!! This was better than I even expected. The staff was SO kind. I will definitely be coming back for my future birthday cake needs as well as any other bakery and lunch items.“

“I’ve only been twice and I’m already obsessed. The first time I had the red dragon yogurt and I can’t even describe it but it’s so delicious. Today I wanted something more refreshing so I got the lychee lime and it’s everything I wanted it to be. Seriously so good.“

“Came here family of 3 for breakfast. We all had bacon, eggs,hash browns, and toast. We shared some French toast. The service is amazing and the small town diner atmosphere exactly what you would expect. All 3 of us thought the hashbrowns were undercooked and bacon could have been crisper for our taste. “I want to start by saying that this is a really beautiful cafe. While there are some issues such as a corner table that is effectively impossible to get in and out of if someone is seated at the table next to it, the place is beautifully bright, and clean. I enjoyed the time I spent there, but it did get busier, and subsequently louder. It would definitely benefit from some wall decorations to help break up the sound.

Otherwise, it is excellent! The menu is small but all the items we have had so far have been good. The coffee and tea lattes are excellent every time, and the staff are all very polite.“

“I absolutely LOVE Rise By Good Day! Moving here frrom a town in IL just north of Chicago, I never expected to find quality kielbasa in UT... but low and behold, Rise By Good Day has saved my polish cravings and kept my stomach happy. You have to get the Weselna Kielbasa. It is my absolute favorite. You also cannot go wrong with pierogies either. Or the poppy seed bread. Or the polish apple pie. I also love trying all the other polish foods and snacks. The ketchup is my new go to. Don't get me started on the Paczki. That's a delicacy of its own. Stop in, you wont be disappointed. The service is amazing. The owner is so friendly, as are her staff. I cannot recommend this place enough. I am looking forward to them opening the new location in West Jordan and trying their pierogi pizza and kielbasa pizza. Mmm!!“

“This place is a gem if you can find it. Small, no frills food counter with outstanding breakfast and coffee. Machaca eggs and chicken fried steak and eggs were off the charts.

Parking: It's located above a trucking parts and service counter so parking is limited.“

“Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options come to mind, though I can't recall if they were clearly labeled. The staff was amazing and I'm sure they would be helpful in pointing out options.

Dietary restrictions: I'm allergic to lavender and the staff was very vigilant in checking their tea for lavender to make sure it was safe for me to drink. I really appreciate that!

Parking: The building is a little hidden but there is plenty of parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: The building is not wheelchair accessible. If you have some mobility there are three stairs to get into the building and they have main floor seating but there is a big staircase to the second floor. So I would call to see which rooms are the most accessible.“

“This place seems to always be hopping. I did my second coaching call here and it’s a great place to meet new clients.

I ordered a great caramel iced coffee and avocado toast. When I was told they had just run out of avocados and offered me anything else on the menu, not only did they not charge for the upgrade, they refunded my money. Great customer service and great food.“

“10/10 experience. Very inviting and cozy atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Clean as a whistle too! Aside from the cat decorations in the cafe area you’d never guess they have animals in the building from the smell or the hair level. Lightning fast service and very yummy consumables if you’re just there for a drink and a snack. The staff I met were very patient and helpful. The cats are very well cared for and it shows in their friendliness and grooming. I adopted a Maine Coon with my husband this weekend and not only was the process smooth, but the cat himself was very healthy and had a well maintained coat(for the uninitiated Maine Coons are very susceptible to matting of the fur around their butt and tummy). Overall incredible experience and so so well run especially for a small business. I will be stopping by to pet the cats and get a latte every time i’m in Salt Lake. -Joel :]“
