The only thing I would say is it would be better if the cheese was melted and the carne asada was more heated. Outside of that I will definitely come back to this place.”

“Everything I've tried here has been so good, with really fresh ingredients-- fresh vegetables, fresh basil, etc. My favorite so far is the panang curry, however I also have a weakness for the sticky rice with mango (I don't know where they find their mangoes but theirs are way better than any that I can find!) “Ah, Noodle Head in Salt Lake City! If you've never heard of it, imagine if a ramen shop and a quirky hipster café had a love child. That's Noodle Head.

I strolled in with the enthusiasm of a kid on Christmas morning, ready to devour their famed pork belly ramen. The atmosphere was buzzing with a mix of chatter, laughter, and the occasional slurp that could rival a walrus in a soup-eating contest. The decor screamed, "We take our noodles seriously, but not ourselves."

The bowl arrived, and it was a sight to behold. The pork belly glistened with a seductive sheen, practically whispering, "Eat me, you know you want to." The noodles were perfectly nestled in a rich, savory broth that looked like it could cure any ailment from a hangover to a broken heart.

First bite, and I was hooked. The pork belly was so tender it practically melted in my mouth, which, let's be honest, is the ultimate goal for any meat. It was like butter, but better because it was pork. The noodles had the perfect chew – not too soft, not too hard – Goldilocks would have approved.

Now, the broth. Oh, the broth. If I could swim in it, I would. It was a harmonious blend of umami goodness with just the right amount of saltiness and depth. I’m convinced it was brewed by a wizard because it was pure magic.

As I continued my culinary adventure, I noticed the toppings – a perfectly soft-boiled egg, spring onions, and some mysterious crunchy bits that added an extra dimension of joy with every bite. It was like a party in my mouth, and everyone was invited.

Halfway through, I realized I was doing that embarrassing food-dance thing people do when they’re really enjoying their meal. You know, the one where you wiggle a bit and make involuntary happy noises. But hey, in a place like Noodle Head, I wasn’t alone – I spotted at least three other noodle enthusiasts doing the same.

By the end of the meal, I was in a ramen-induced state of bliss, already planning my next visit. If you’re in Salt Lake City and have a craving for some seriously stellar pork belly ramen, do yourself a favor and head to Noodle Head. Just be prepared to do the noodle dance – it’s inevitable.”

So if your more of an outsider kinda person need that outside air with your coffee your covered! Need that quick to go order or just wanna chill inside either way they got your back! Take a look around inside while you wait for your grub, they've got some amazing art and homemade scarves for sale and so much more! The second best thing about this place they have an upstairs with comfy couches, chairs aaand if your a book worm you belong here! You can chill upstairs take your pick of any book you like sip on some coffee and get lost in fantasy fiction whatever you fancy. Oh and i can't leave out they have 2 awesome dart machines upstairs! They also have tournaments! Something to look into for you adamant dart players! Anyhow just a little scoop take it in and get you some bomb coffee! First time customer here and gained for life!”

“Welcome TROPICAL SMOOTHIE CAFE! I moved to the (somewhat nearby) area this past summer and my detox island green was the SINGLE MOST restaurant item I missed here. I found this restaurant just north of Petco when I made a wrong turn. My favorite anytime of day is the All American Wrap (egg, bacon, & cheese) and a detox island green with coconut subbed for the mango. The detox island green has the lowest carb count and is the PERFECT way to get your greens and love it! Welcome to the neighborhood!”

“I've doordashed from this location before and have enjoyed the Acai bowls. I was in the area a couple days ago and decided to stop in for a bowl. I wasn't greeted during the time I came in. I waited about 5 minutes before I was helped. There was only one other person in the store with me at the time who had already been helped. When my acai bowl was done, it was just left at the counter and the 2 girls working didnt say anything. The acai bowl itself was delicious, the acai was a little too frozen for my liking but I may come back in the future.”

The fries, burgers, and chicken are good, but they play second fiddle to the ice cream. The service is friendly, and everything is made-to-order (so be prepared for a few minutes wait).

The ambiance of this drive-thru/outdoor seating fast casual joint is a blast to the past: it looks and feels the same way as it did when my parents went in the 80’s and my grandparents in the 60’s. That’s right — this place has been around for nearly 65 years, and if that’s not a testament to its cultural and culinary impact on Salt Lake, then I’m not sure what is.”
