I sat at the bar, ordered an Ultimate Platter all to myself, had a drink with a lobster shaker I get to KEEP. 🤯🍹 I don’t remember my waitress’ name but she was so sweet, and the manager Bryan gave me a discount because he liked my shirt.

I had the citrus butter cast iron Alaskan halibut and a side of grilled cauliflower with garlic herb sauce, and a Beehive jack rabbit Gin Commander cocktail. My husband got the Wagyu hanger 8 0z steak, mashed potatoes, and The Espolon Tequila Hefe cocktail. For dessert we got the churros drizzled with raspberry sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream to share. Our waiter Kaden was excellent and on top of things, Jose was our busser and was very prompt, professional, and kind, and the chef was excellent and got our food out in a reasonable amount of time. “We came here to celebrate a special birthday, and overall, we had a wonderful experience.

I ordered a medium-rare steak, but unfortunately, it was initially served much rarer than I had requested, so I had to send it back. Thankfully, our server handled the situation professionally and kindly, and it came back much closer to the temperature I had asked for.

I also really appreciated the birthday touches they added to our table. It made the celebration feel special and thoughtful.

Our reservation was fairly late, and we ended up being among the last guests in the restaurant. As the evening came to an end, we could definitely sense that the staff was getting ready to close, which is completely understandable given the late hour.

To top it all off, they surprised us with a complimentary birthday dessert, and it was absolutely delicious. The presentation was beautiful and made for a perfect ending to the evening.

Overall, I really enjoyed The Capital Grille. The atmosphere was elegant, the service was attentive, and despite the small issue with my steak, the staff made it right. I would definitely recommend it for a special occasion and would gladly come back.“

Tonight we ordered their Great India Special Appetizer, the Garlic Cheese Naan, and an order of Chicken Vindaloo (spicy). The flavor is incredible and the food so fresh. We talked with the owners (yep - locally owned, a big plus) and learned that they prepare the Naan when it's ordered, not heated up from earlier in the day. Its obvious! We couldn't recommend a restaurant more highly. Really one our favorites.“

While being hot in the July summer heat we still enjoyed ourselves and were able to utilize the outdoor and indoor space for the ceremony and reception. The team at Market Street Grill did a phenomenal job through the whole planning process and execution of the day. We had a boisterous group of wedding guests and they handled us no problem. Sophie Hansen, the events coordinator in particular was amazing to work with. My now husband and I live in Maui and Sophie was easy to communicate with throughout the entire planning process and was with us on the beginning portion of our wedding day to help us get started on the right foot. She was easily available via email and phone. I honestly can’t say enough good things about her. My family and I have been coming to Market Street for years and it made it that much more special to have our wedding there. Everything was beautiful and it was a dream come true!“

I haven't found a place with better ceviche, though, so La Cevicheria is where I'll go when I want it.“

We can get double the amount for the price of one roll elsewhere. My husband and I stopped in to order take out on Father’s Day and the hostess was very friendly and knowledgeable. She even gave our son an order of cream cheese wontons for free and wrote a cute note on the take out box.“

“I have been eating at this location for 10 years and I’m so impressed with the waiter Jordan M, who served us so many times and also during the Covid years! He made us feel like we owned the room and we felt so welcomed and he always knew what we liked most on the menu.
I’m impressed with the new Management who always come to personally say hi to us. I love this location and all its staff including Ty and Mo who served me today.
I recommend coming to South Jordan and I promise you that you’ll have great food and great staff and excellent service!!!!

“This has been a go to restaurant for Laura and me for the last 6+ years. The menu is sensational, the value is what you would expect in the service at times slow is always very friendly. They have some very unique curry as well as appetizers on the menu. If you like Thai food this is a must if you’re not sure if you like Thai food you will be one over by their menu. We have enjoyed it every single time and we will always go back.“
