“Went to this restaurant for our 9th wedding anniversary. It's price range varies from $45-$85 per entree but definitely lives up to the hype. I had the citrus butter cast iron Alaskan halibut and a side of grilled cauliflower with garlic herb sauce, and a Beehive jack rabbit Gin Commander cocktail. My husband got the Wagyu hanger 8 0z steak, mashed potatoes, and The Espolon Tequila Hefe cocktail. For dessert we got the churros drizzled with raspberry sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream to share. Our waiter Kaden was excellent and on top of things, Jose was our busser and was very prompt, professional, and kind, and the chef was excellent and got our food out in a reasonable amount of time. Best Halibut I have ever had and best steak he has ever had. “From the initial greeting to receiving our check the experience was outstanding! This is now my #1 FAVORITE restaurant in SLC... we are from NY & I feel as if I e been teleported back... Has to be the MOST BEAUTIFUL restaurant in Utah, service is always the gold standard and the food is AWARD WINNING! Highly recommend.“

“The two ladies that were there were very helpful and sweet! I bought a drink while we waited for our food to go. Brought it back and mmmmm Grape flavored (?) Suku? Captains Feast! There was no line or wait. Construction going on. So it was perfect!!!!!“

“You might be surprised that Salt Lake City has such lobster rolls and clam chowder with New England quality. The lobster is extremely tender and clam chowder is delicious. My kids who are no particularly seafood lovers cannot stop eating. The qualities justify the prices. One might need to drive around a bit due to the limited parking spaces on the street.“

“One of those places where I've accidentally become a regular. If you're looking for a crab dinner but are generally unhappy with price-to-volume ratios, this place is your place. All-you-can-eat snow crab with a multitude of flavors for butter (Cajun is the best, trust me) along with a buffet full of other supplementary options makes this place pretty fantastic (though if I'm being real, I'll maybe get a spring roll and then fill up the rest of the way on the crab. Don't judge me). Add in the kind and enthusiastic service - which is uncommon in a buffet - and we struggle to keep away from this place.“

“Anniversary dinner. Our table was Fantastic and decorated so nicely to help us celebrate. We had a Wedge salad cut up and split with bleu cheese on 1 and ranch on the other. Our server Ian was very helpful with sending a kinda cloyingly sweet house Old Fashioned back (Grand Marnier maybe?). We added Asparagus -great, and Au Gratin Potatoes - missing the cheesiness we usually expect, but very buttery and tasty with Panko topping. Still fantastic for sides. Filet and Salmon for dinners. Filet was superb, but just a steak on a plate. Some sauce or gastrique (peppercorn not preferred by her) would have been nice. I Added 3 Scallops to my Salmon as I kinda wanted either one. So had both. Scallops cooked perfectly. Salmon was a bit over-cooked and a touch dry - flavor was really good though. Overall, our meal was definitely a great celebration and we'll go back. An “Extremely” nice dessert with Happy Anniversary on a decorative plate was given to us at the end and it was such a great finish to our dinner.“

“Looking for an exceptional dining experience? Look no further than Urban Hill, where you'll find a meal to remember. The restaurant's modern and spacious design sets the tone for a memorable meal. Taylor, our attentive waiter, suggested the 3 Sticks Pinot Noir and expertly described each dish's preparation and origins. We enjoyed the fresh oysters and beet starter, and the sable fish tartar (ceviche) was the real showstopper. For my dinner I chose the sablefish with is similar to black cod. It was cooked to perfection, it left us feeling grateful for the experience. The duck dish was equally impressive, and we left Urban Hill happy to have found this Gem in down town Salt Lake City.

“This was a special occasion evening out for us . Yes , the oysters were delicious, fresh and served quickly . We have frequented Current over the past 8 years . It was an amazing place for fresh seafood when it first opened . It had great atmosphere and good energy. This last visit left us flat , compared to what we have experienced in the past. The food although good , was not great . My husband had the fish stew. It was with a Thai flavored base . Let me just ust say that the chef should leave the “Thai” cuisine to the excellent Thai restaurants that we have in our area. I had the octopus and I had asked how it was prepared. It was sous vied for hours to tenderize, and was to be seared for finishing. It was very tender but the finishing was not executed correctly. The octopus came to the table room temperature and starting to soften from the searing. I also added as an à la cart one seared scallop. The cost of the scallop was $10. It came to the table cold. Leaving my entire dinner at a lukewarm temp. We did ask that scallop be removed from our bill and it was. So with Lukewarm food snd lukewarm atmosphere. Let's just say we will be looking for a new oyster fish house for our dining out experiences.“

“The food was AMAZING!!! Huge portions, great wait service! A good price for your food!!!The tomato sauce was a little sweet, something I've never had, but really enjoyed. As we were celebrating our anniversary, they took really good care of us and didn't little extra on our shared dessert, carrot cake. It was creamy and delicious!!! Love this place so much!!!“

“We LOVED the fountain! Even though they were possibly understaffed when we went there (or it was a bit of a rush hour) they handled it VERY WELL!! The food was great and the seating was well handled! The staff was genial and friendly!
We had 2 orders of Fish and Chips (with salad) and one order of Haddock and Chowder.“
