“WOW! The best Mexican food I've ever had. The salsa is rich, I could snack on the chips and salsa all day. The food was brought out quick by attentive and respectful staff. The food looked, smelled, and tasted amazing (I had the chile verde burritos with a side of beans/rice). I was so sad I was unable to save my leftovers and debated buying a cooler just so I could, it was that good. The horchata and beans & rice were expected quality, nothing particularly special about them. If I lived in Utah, I think I'd be a frequent flyer here. The food was very reasonable.“
“If you like Italian food then you have to visit this restaurant in SLC! We went there twice during our 4 day stay. The service was great and so was the food! For appetizers I recommend the whipped Brie and carpaccio. The bread service was also so yummy! As for the entrees we got the risotto, brasato braised beef, truffle pasta which were 10/10. The filet Mingon was also tasty but could use a little bit less salt. Ravioli al Funghi is vegan and also tasted very fresh. As for dessert I would recommend the tiramisu! Honestly everything was flavorful 10/10 recommend.“
“This shop is far from one of those huge factories, which makes it more inviting and warm. The smell is incredible once you walk through the doors, and the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Thank you for the service you provided me today, especially as a doordasher.“
“Absolutely incredible food and service. Our server (Marcus) was such a delight and he really made this night feel special. We came here for our anniversary and every staff member we interacted with made a point to tell us happy anniversary and took such great care of us.“
“The chocolate pumpkin and the blueberry orange cupcakes from Kasthuri, made our son's Eagle Scout celebration complete. The beautiful presentation, the perfect combination of flavors, and the enjoyment of every bite never fail to amaze. Thank you Kasthuri for making every celebration extra special!“
“GET THERE EARLY ON THE WEEKENDS, OR YOU WILL BE STANDING IN LINE!!! Their Mimosas are only $8!! The bread tastes fresh and bouncy as well. Good selection of brunch options whether you like sweet or savory. I recommend the stuffed French toast and the brunch “
“Big fan of Greek food after this dinner! We made a reservation and got right to our table on time, but you should definitely plan to show up a few minutes early just to find parking (which took a couple turns around intersecting streets). Since I am Gluten Free, I always try to look at a menu prior to getting there so I'm not panicing figuring out what I can eat. This was no problem with Manoli's - they have clear GF options and I had been trying to not eat all day just to save my appetite because everything sounded so delish! We had 3 appetizers, the Garides are the picture I actually remembered to take because again...starving and anxious to try everything, the Htenia which was the best scallop I've ever had, and a classic Greek Dolmades - with homemade Greek yogurt that looked like whipped cream. We also got a Branzino as the main, and my first time having it did not disappoint. Highly recommend Manoli's - even though the restaurant was full on this busy Friday night, it felt like we had a private chef cooking everything perfectly and solely for our table.Dietary restrictions: I have Celiac so I have to eat Gluten Free.“
“the bros and I waddle in here and oh were we amazed, the walls were walls but cool walls and even the ceiling, homie jakob was tripping hard but the pizza calmed him down I mean at least I hope so he jus kinda zoned out, Dylan did his bathroom review, 9/10 very clean and nice yippee! pizza was absolutely magnificent if I must say, we were munching on that thing like it was our last meal. don’t even remember what we got ngl but highly recommend this place, super cool and oh my god the pizza, it’s underground if you couldn’t tell by the name which is like 10 times cooler, unless you have claustrophobia like Jakob then just like get some water but also get some pizza“
“A great place - fantastic food, fresh ingredients, and unique flavors abound. The owner and employees were very personable and kind. An undeniable 10/10 would and will go back! Love the unique take on pizza and the other options they offer as well.“
“I always make sure to stop here for a meal when traveling through this area. The food is delicious, and the dessert and pastries never disappoint. The food portions are just right, not huge, but always enough to leave you room for dessert. The waitstaff is attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is inviting.“
“Great little shop tucked in on State Street. Great selection for breakfast pastries. Huge portions! Great service--happy employees. Biggest drawback is the lack of parking because right in front of them is a bus stop, next to a construction site. But worth the risk of a parking ticket!!“
“Yum! My husband and I tried this place out and I'm very happy we did. He got the Med 6.0 bowl/plate and I got the High Tide bowl/plate. We both got the warm naan on the side. The naan was a small piece but for $1.50 extra I should have expected the smaller size honestly. The fried pita strips that came with my husband's plate were delicious. He liked his food, especially the falafel but felt like the sides that came with it would have been better served hot instead of cold. I got the High Tide plate which said it came with trout but I got a piece of salmon unexpectedly. Wasn't upset about it because I definitely prefer salmon over trout but not sure what happened there (thanks for the reply Vessel kitchen! I've only had other types of trout so I didn't realize steelhead tasted and looked so similar to salmon! It was great and much better than other types of trout I've had before!). The spaghetti squash and cider slaw that came with it were delicious and I loved the green sauce on top. Prices felt right for the dishes and I love that this is a "fast food" place. They have stainless steel cups for drinking water and even "real" silverware to reduce plastic use which is great. Lovely food, quick dine and didn't feel like we had to add some ginormous tip like so many places expect for doing the bare minimum lately. This place feels fresh and much needed. We will definitely be back.“
“I really enjoy stopping by Millcreek. Their coffee is really great and I appreciate the friendly staff. It’s really interesting to see the roasting happening, which also creates some nice white noise in the background. The tall ceilings, spread out tables, and natural light make it a very nice atmosphere it get work done.“
“This place is a snug little restaurant serving wonderful greek/Mediterranean food. It's menu can please most people looking for this ethnic variety. Lots of walk-in traffic for takeout and a few tables and high tops to sit at.Vegan, vegetarian and GF as well as beef, lamb or chicken Food was good tasting and fresh!! Service people were very friendly and helpful. Food and drinks are ordered at the service counter then brought to you at your table. This is on our list for the future!Vegetarian options: Nearly every item on the menu was or could be made vegetarian or even veganDietary restrictions: Menu identifies vegan, vegetarian and gluten free items“
“The quality of the baking is undeniably delicious and some of the best I’ve ever had. That being said I feel like the store is pretty miss managed. I can’t find a list of offered products and when I call in and ask if (or when) they will have something the staff can be unsure. The website says it’s coming soon and I am really looking forward to it! I also wish that they could be more consistent with social media posts and responding questions on there.Overall it’s super high quality certificated gluten free food.“
“Driven by this bakery so many times and we finally decided to stop and try it. We walked in and saw a line at the counter and people sitting at tables. First impression, it was a cute little place. We got in line at the counter and chose our items. It wasn't until after we ordered our desserts that we realized you can't eat them at a table if you order at the counter. So the set up when you walk in is a bit confusing. There isn't any signs to let you know it's a sit down restaurant with servers. The pastries were yummy. Only issue was the strawberries were frozen in the cream puff.“
“The ladies behind the counter were patient, friendly, and knowledgeable about the products. Everything looked so good, I had a difficult time deciding what to choose. Everything was delicious and I'm planning to go back to taste all the things I couldn't the first time!“
“This place is always satisfying and never disappoints! It’s how each classic sandwich should be made and others that will become your new favorite. I send as many people here when visiting Salt Lake City to ensure they get a great lunch no matter what. (The Roobin pictured)“
“Airport location. FANTASTIC. I was looking for something healthy. Never expected it to be so top notch flavorful too. Only drawback is it’s only in Utah (and I live far from Utah). Absolutely loved it. Bowl was easily big enough for two people.“
“Love shopping for treats here. It’s a great place to grab a quick dessert or gift for a celebration. Their big cakes are delicious and perfect to celebrate birthdays for the family. The cream cheese icing is delicious. Cakes are neat and they also cater and do weddings“
“I got one of their gluten free brownies from the Toasted Cheeser food truck in Brigham today and it was amazing! I would highly recommend giving them a try. Mrs. Hewitt's also has incredible advocates in the wonderful folks running the Toasted Cheeser.“
“Best matcha in town! I love their drinks and food, very cozy place, great music and great place to study. Open everyday until 7pm which is convenient. However it is FREEZING in there, to the point where it’s uncomfortable. Make sure to wear extra layers.“
“So glad we found this great restaurant!Food is very, very good. Good price, amazing staff, huge portions and quick serve.I highly recommend the spring rolls, egg rolls, dumplings and to try both Pad Thai with Crispy Chicken and the Fried Rice with Crispy Chicken. It’s nice to get it all and share with friends.Their Thai Tea is also very, very good!“
“Great coffee shop high quality coffee and the cinnamon churro bread will make you want to stop by everyday for one. Great comfy spot for a coffee date or friends to play some board games they have for the customers super cool. A forever satisfied customer.“
“Got the Chicken Shawarma in tin and it was delicious! Meat was soft, seasoned really well and tasted fresh. Rice was cooked perfectly. Salad was fresh tasting and it came with some green dressing and hot chili sauce! Super spicy but delicious. Nice and chill in there. Lady at the counter was super sweet and even brought my food to me. A little pricey but most food is nowadays. Definitely going back sometime in the future.Parking: Located south of 2100 South. Shares parking with a few other retail spaces and what looks like is the DIs parking lot. Pretty busy.“
“This is your local college pizza joint. In the pricier side here in Salt Lake, but you get what you pay for and this is our favorite pizza in Salt Lake (and that’s said coming from Manhattan).I’d recommend starting with a cheese pull-a-part, chicken Caesar salad if you want something semi healthy, and the Holy Shiitake Pie if you’re a fan of pesto and truffle.“
“AWESOME STAFF!!! Great food, wonderful experience. As an industry professional with 25 years and counting - I have to say this was one of the best experiences especially considering the circumstances of our large group also in a rush. Because of course we were the 20 top that came in saying “we are on a time crunch”Izzy was our server and she was amazing. Super efficient, fast and patient with our large group of 20….with separate checks. If you’re industry then- you know- and with Izzy it never showed not even a little. Our food took a little while- as to be expected with a large group- all hands were on deck when it came to delivering entrees so everyone’s meal was fresh and hot. All smiles and great service throughout the entire experience.Also- THE BEER IS GREAT!!!!!!!! I had the juicy IPA… two of em!“
“One of the coziest coffee shops I’ve ever been in, they’ve got local art on every wall, couches and comfy chairs, and a great atmosphere. The service is wonderful and the baristas have impeccable music taste (we’re talking the cranberries, the smashing pumpkins, blondie, mazzy star, etc) regardless of when I go. I could spend hours here doing homework or real work and be happy the whole time. They also have great coffee (in 12 or 20 oz cups for hot) and a ton of funky flavors. Great for mixing it up if you’re bored with your current coffee. Go here! It’s cozy! I’ll get ya if you don’t ?“
“Came here with a large group of 18 and every single one of us LOVED it. Even the non vegans!!!! Amazing from start to finish. Highly recommend stopping by and do NOT skip dessert!!!! I had the cherry “cheesecake” and it was amazing. Also tried a friends chocolate cake and OMGGGGG.“
“Hostesses were very speedy and friendly, my waiter Jacob was incredibly informative, kind, and had great recommendations, and the pizza was great. The crust was flavorful, and totally different on the two pies that I ordered, the toppings were thoughtfully coordinated, and all of the ingredients tasted of a premium quality and freshness.Parking: Get there early, as the lot fills quickly.“
“Great local coffee shop with private (booth) or shared (farm table) seating options. If you get there early you'll find a solid selection of pastries and other baked goods. I had the breakfast empanadas most recently, they had been heated, but still had cold spots inside.“
“I bought 4 different cupcakes here to share with coworkers and WOW. We couldn't believe how good they were. The cake part was so moist and the frosting was perfect. The cupcakes weren't over sweet, they were just right which made you want to eat one more! There are many cupcake options to choose from and they have other sweets that look really good. Definitely coming back soon and highly recommend!“
“Great date night, unique place to take guests and plenty of space yet private enough to have conversation or bring the whole family. The owner/ chef was knowledgeable, entertaining and friendly. The shelves had in season/ fresh produce. The sea bass and chicken dishes were amazing. It was beautiful presented. Very reasonably priced. We are already looking forward to going back. Also classes are taught there and you can buy sauces and spices.“
“In the past few years, RoHa Brewing has gone from a neighborhood spot we would go into occasionally for a beverage or to sit on the dog-friendly patio on a beautiful day to a brewery that has absolutely stolen our hearts and become a cornerstone of the Ballpark neighborhood. Check out their instagram for a rotating calendar of community events (from fundraisers to save the Great Salt Lake to delicious local cheese tastings), beer releases, food trucks, & local bands. The beers are fun and have a wide range, the hard seltzers are refreshing, and even if you’re doing a Dry January or a Sober October, they’ll have something besides water for you to sip. But let’s be real: the real strength of RoHa is its people, both the staff and the regulars. They are so welcoming and friendly, and you don’t have to fit a certain look or be in a specific age range to receive a hello and a chat. Come on by and experience our lovely neighborhood brewery. No matter the season, it’s a nice place to be.“
“I think I may be addicted, y'all. Santorini's has high-quality food with yummy ingredients and great customization options. Think of a build-your-own burrito place, but Greek. (They have premade stuff if you don't want the ambiguity of customization.) Yummy pita, delicious chicken, and their garlic fries are perfect. I usually get to-go but their dine-in experience is also nice and clean. Love eating here and would highly recommend you give them a try.“
“Sam Lunt the food worker is “thee” best food worker I have ever met, when I didn’t know what to order he gave me the best suggestion for my dinner. The roasted garlic chicken salad not only was this dish scrumptious it was the perfect amount. In conclusion Sam deserves a raise dare I say he should OWN the “
“My family has been coming here for years and years. The beginning of our meal today was the worst service we had ever had. However Nicholas, Gabe and Adriano saved the evening. They honestly were some of the best gauchos we have ever had. They asked us what they could bring, accommodated our requests for more well done meats and made us feel like we were not forgotten. Honestly they saved this entire meal. I’m sorry Anthony B but your waiter training needs to be vastly improved. We had to ask for water which only got it refilled once. We understand the restaurant was busy however we saw you standing on your phone when we needed refills or had questions. Overall a very hot and cold experience. If it were not for Nicholas, Gabe and Adriano we would’ve left extremely unhappy. They deserve all the praise! ✨“
“Stone Ground has fantastic bread products. Since it is changed hands in the past year or so there have been price increases. The factory store prices for overages and products is a lot different. I feel like it has lost that original “owner” feel.“
“We recently dined at Emigration Brewing and had an excellent experience. We highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food, impeccable service, and charming ambiance. We had the pleasure of trying their Canyon pizza, Halibut dish, Hefeweizen beer, BlackBerry sour cocktail, and Creme brûlée for dessert, all of which were outstanding. The food was top-notch, with each dish showcasing fresh ingredients and expert preparation. The Canyon pizza was flavorful and perfectly cooked, while the Halibut was tender and flavorful. The drinks, including the Hefeweizen and BlackBerry sour, were refreshing and complemented our meal perfectly. The service was also exceptional, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. We do recommend making a reservation in advance, as we didn't have one and had to wait for a while. It seems that the restaurant prefers reservations to ensure a smooth dining experience for all guests.Overall, Emigration Brewing exceeded our expectations with its great food, service, and ambiance. If we are ever in town again, we will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to others looking for a fantastic dining experience.Vegetarian options: Lots of salads and pizza as well as a vegetarian entree item.Parking: Abundant parking“
“Love this spot. Apps in particular are always good. Cocktails are delicious. Beer selection on point. However, the way they serve beer is disappointing, especially considering the care they clearly put into selecting imports and interesting beers to serve. Belgians, IPAs, Saison, etc are served in a Boston shaker pint glass. For such an elevated atmosphere and dining experience, I would expect them to use proper glassware to serve their brews.“
“Everything in the buffet was quite good, and they had a decent selection. Covered the bases for me, though I would've preferred a different dahl. Just my personal preference.I particularly loved the tandoori chicken. It was so tender and moist. Not dried out at all, like is so often the case with buffets. And their goat curry was also phenomenal. Highly recommend this one for the buffet.“
“Maxwell's Little Bar is a fantastic neighborhood spot for delicious food and drinks! I moved into the building housing this pub and love it!The staff are so welcoming and friendly plus getting to meet my new neighbors in a relaxing open space has been great. It's definitely worth checking out!“
“I was promptly greeted by friendly staff. The meat was super fresh as was the guacamole. The broccoli was amazing. The jalapeños and carrots were fresh and so was the cilantro. The steak was super flavorful and I am incredibly satisfied for the quality and flavour of food for the price point.“
“I have Zao’s at least once a week and they never disappoint. Delicious, fresh and simple ingredients. I love it!I wasn’t feeling well and was craving their rich broth but couldn’t pick it up myself, so I used DoorDash, but couldn’t add a special request, so I call the store and asked to have more broth on my soup and less meatballs, I really just wanted broth and noodles. The lady whom I spoke with was very kind and offered to still send me the meatballs but on the side in case I want to eat the later, I wish I had gotten her name. And to my surprise there was a sweet note in the bag that read “feel better soon! “Very thoughtful and kind. Above and beyond service and the food as always delicious.“
“This is hands down the best place to grab food to go in SLC. Really fresh food, made with good ingredients, tastes great. Friendly staff as well which is always nice. I always get the chicken grain bowl, but the Caesar bowl was also amazing, 100% recommend!“
“This place is a super cheap place to take the family or go on a date. The variety of flavors is great, and the customer service is exceptional. The place is small and sitting is limited. However, we've been able to accommodate our group of 6 . If you have a large family and want to save a bit of money while getting something delicious and sweet, this is the place.“
“Spitz is such a fun, hip little restaurant, and this was our first time going to this location in Sugarhouse (we usually hit up the original downtown one). Awesome, friendly staff, and great vibe with the same hot pink tentrilled light fixture in the center of the room. It really looks like a place people go on a date to, but we went as a family and enjoyed the food, the music, the board/card games they had available to play, and the chalk board to draw on. They had plenty of high chairs and lower tables for the littles, so bring your family.Always get the pita bread, btw! It's the best and I dream of it always. Ahhhh!“
“This food was so good the service as well. We were visiting for a work conference. We stopped in for dinner. The hostess and waitress were super friendly. There’s also a robot that follows staff around while take food to the table adorable!!The food was so flavorful it was everything I wanted. 10/10“
“I only gave PF Chang's atmosphere of four star because it is extremely difficult to have a five-star in a mall setting. The service was absolutely amazing. I wish I could remember her name but our waitress was just superb. Most of the food was absolutely out of this world. Personal preference that's why I say most of the food. Don't get me wrong I highly highly recommend coming here!“
“Great food and really good service. Keep it up!EDIT: Now it is 2024. The food is still great but it takes them 15 minutes to give you a cup of soup. I'm in the drive thru right now. Been here 20 minutes and the line has yet to move. They are just too slow.“
