“If you like Italian food then you have to visit this restaurant in SLC! We went there twice during our 4 day stay. The service was great and so was the food! For appetizers I recommend the whipped Brie and carpaccio. The bread service was also so yummy! As for the entrees we got the risotto, brasato braised beef, truffle pasta which were 10/10. The filet Mingon was also tasty but could use a little bit less salt. Ravioli al Funghi is vegan and also tasted very fresh. As for dessert I would recommend the tiramisu! Honestly everything was flavorful 10/10 recommend.“

“Wow!! Best pizza, gelato and SERVICE we have had in a while. The food came out so quickly. The server was extremely attentive and very kind. We loved that they had live footage from Italy playing on the tv that made it feel like we were right there! We will definitely become regulars!“

“Great value. Price includes sandwich, bag of chips & drink. They have fountain drinks or a cooler of non-carbonated drinks.I had the Garlic Philly. Very generous amount of garlic ?Dietary restrictions: They charge you more if you are allergic to onionsWheelchair accessibility: Tight inside. Lots of people, few tables. Probably would not be easy to maneuver with a wheelchair.“

“Food is ALWAYS GREAT here, when they actually get it right…. The people working here didnt speak a lick of English, our entire order was super wrong, we had to send it back (which I’ve done one other time in my entire life) and they got it super wrong again, not a I didn’t want onions and the put onions in the food wrong, like, a, I ordered chicken tikka and they brought out a vegetarian pizza, wrong) THIS HAPPENED 3 TIMES…. Finally just ate the food they gave us to get out of there since we’d been there for almost 3 hours…“

“One of the best Italian bistros I've been to outside Italy. Everything is made from scratch! From the Al Denté Pasta to the visible lemon zest in their fresh made Gelato, Caffe Molise makes it their mission to provide a home cooked and flavorful meal at a more than fair price for the excellent quality! Bring your appetite, the portions are big! My wife's appetizer was basically a meal! The building was old school renovation from a mansion, and the interior was open, warm, and welcoming! Our hostess, Lisa, made the experience wonderful with her superb customer service and humor that made my wife's and my meal that more enjoyable! The manager was in the grind with her crew, true leadership and care for her customer's experience. I am so happy that we decided to dine here for our first trip to SLC. I will go back. I encourage anyone visiting SLC to check them out! You won't regret it!Vegetarian options: Made to order dishes that can be altered to meet dietary needs!“

“1. Ignacio (waiter) is the best waiter I’ve ever had his kindness and patience made our experience perfect. He was on top of everything ( Always made sure we had our drinks & always made sure to ask us if he could do anything for us) 2. The food was made to order and really fresh. For starters the pizza is AMAZING. Also, both of the pastas we tried were mouthwatering and delightful. This is the best Italian Food I’ve ever had and I will always make sure to stop by whenever I am in Salt Lake City. ? ❤️“

“The staff is extremely attentive, the food is over the top. The portion sizes are perfect. This truly is a dining experience. Not to mention the wine is incredible. We shared a bottle of the Ripasso and it was phenomenal. If I had to complain about anything, parking is limited and the building is underwhelming considering the quality of the rest of the experience. Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in the valley. And they follow the European tradition of no tipping allowed. If you haven't had the opportunity to give this place a shot it should definitely be on your list.“

“We absolutely loved stopping in here. The food was good and the service was AMAZING. We got the bolognese and the pesto. The bolognese was very delicious, but the pesto was a very strong pesto which wasn’t quite my taste. Yummy regardless, just not my fave. The panna cottas were to die for and I would get those again in a heartbeat. There’s not much seating there as it’s more of a communal space.“

“The ambiance of this place is great! It's perfect for a date, meeting, gathering, or just dinner. Everything has a rustic feel to it.The food is all delicious. The handmade pasta was the absolute highlight out of everything. The tagliatelle was amazing, and I added a lobster tail on top as was recommended by the waiter. The lamb papardelle was also great, but lamb is not generally something I order myself. The house cocktails were not the best part of our meal, and I would recommend just getting something else. They weren't very tasty because strong alcohol flavors muted everything, but that was just my palette. The doughnuts are awesome. Listen to everyone and don't miss out on those. They're served hot and fresh. The tiramisu was also very good. It had a nice espresso flavor, but it was still very light, airy, and creamy.“

“My wife and I have been excited to try this place! The environment and decor is great. The service was awesome. The food was really good. We would definitely come back. We went right after it opened and they didn't have their liquor license yet which they said they should have soon. We got the smoked trout dip (4/5) the chips were especially good. The risotto (1.5/5) was our least favorite. It was a little crunchy and the green apples in it didn't really compliment the dish. The braised beef and hummus was INCREDIBLE (6/5). So so tasty and tender. The pomegranate molasses was such a nice touch and the flat bread was awesome. Speaking of which the bread they bring out at the beginning also INCREDIBLE (6/5). We also got the smoked pastrami and charred cabbage (4/5). It was a yummy dish. I don't think I'd get it again. Surprisingly the charred cabbage was the star of the show, not the pastrami but it was still an enjoyable dish to try. We will definitely be back to Roux!“

“Ordered the arugula salad with the Parmesan, and the Margherita DOC. Salad was fantastic and was stoked on the slab of high quality Parmesan. Pizza was a solid 9/10. Honestly I want to make it a 10, but being nit-picky, the cook was very slightly under, meaning the pizza was a bit wet towards the middle, but the crust flavor is on-point and flavor spectacular.Atmosphere felt just a touch cafeteria, which perhaps makes sense for a pizzeria, but I’d prefer the vibe more for lunch than a nice dinner.“

“Wow. I was so impressed with this place last night. Hannah was exceptional. Whenever a dish was brought out she would follow up a few min later to make sure we were satisfied and doing well. The food is high quality, and the presentation obviously matters to them. It’s so refreshing to go to a vegan establishment that doesn’t have grumpy hipster staff who just think you should be happy about whatever they choose to give you that day.. lol. I’m talking about a competitor around the corner. But If you have standards in your dining experience when you go out to spend your hard earned money, then Seasons hits the mark. You might pay a just a little more here than some of the other Plant Based restaurants around town, but you’ll be happy about spending your money when you see what you get in return. We have been here several times and have received this consistency. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Aside from going 80 in the slow lane Carlucci's is the only thing I miss about Utah. Their coffee is excellent, I haven't had a baked good there I didn't love. Though I have to call out their Decadences (rich chocolate torts) and fruit tarts are especially good. I am addicted to their amazing pasta salad, and baked Italian tofu sandwiches. But their other lunch and breakfast items are also amazing. Seriously go there and enjoy.“

“After eating at Stanza, I couldn't believe I'd never eaten here before. The food here was an unexpected treat. The flavors in every dish complimented each other in such a way that I didn't think were possible. Typically, when I go out to eat, I may find one or two things I want to try. However, this place offered so many delicious descriptions of their dishes that I couldn't pick between 5 or 6 different dishes. I chose the pecan crusted rack of lamb. I'm so glad I did because it was cooked to perfection, and the flavor was devine. The mascerpone polenta was a flavorful surprise. Order it! You won't be disappointed. The Kallette salad and the linguine dish were a knockout! Every bite offered the most amazing flavors. You seriously can't go wrong with whatever you order here. This place is seriously a secret surprise! I'm gonna come back here and have told several of my friends about since dining here. Besides the food, the atmosphere is nice and inviting. More than enough room for you and others without feeling like you're on top of each other. No obnoxious loud music to have to deal with like these new places popping up all over SLC. There is plenty of packing and a nice patio. Just go! You can thank me later.“

“Loved the experience at Bartolo's! Excellent service! The server had great recommendations, and was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food was excellent, and delivered with great timing. The foccaccia appetizer was delicious. We had the house salad, and a side caeser salad with no chicken. Both salads were very light on dressing, which was great. The main dinner was a Lamb Campanelle and a Pistachio Pesto Campanelle with added shrimp. Both were excellent. We especially loved the fresh pasta. I was impressed with how much lamb was in the dish. Bartolo's is a definite place to go again!“

“Our food at Valter's Osteria was fantastic! My husband and I were looking for a top tier restaurant for our last night in Salt Lake City and Valter's Osteria did not disappoint. The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous but still manages to feel like a family-owned establishment. It is an upscale restaurant even though they do not have a dress code. If you do not want to feel out of place, I suggest dressing up a little bit. It is a fairly small dining space for how busy they are. While I am not a fan of cramped dining, the waiters bus the tables regularly, so you do not typically have too much on your table at any time. The wait staff is also very serious, which I mistook at first. It seems to be the type of high-class atmosphere they are going for and not that they are looking down on you. It made me feel a little small at first but by the time we got our appetizer I was over it.Our waiter, Gustavo, had a lot of good suggestions and we took him up on all of them. We ordered a porchetta, rucola e fontina for our appetizer. It was good and light. For our entrees we ordered veal albese and the nana in porchetta savinese (duck in cognac and grape sauce). I had the veal, and it was really good but the duck dish my husband had was absolutely delicious. It was very different from anything we have eaten before, and I am sure we will order it again if we ever go back to Valter's Osteria. We had to order dessert and the only time our waiter smiled at us was when we were bringing us the desserts. We knew it was going to be good! For dessert we ordered the tiramisu which was so good it almost made me cry. I know that is dramatic, but it was so good, and it made me so happy! We also ordered the lemon gelato with honey and lemon juice, and it was hands down the best dessert my husband and I have ever had at a restaurant. The waiter prepares the dessert table side, and it is really fun to watch. I could go back to Valter's Osteria just for the lemon gelato. It is pretty rare that my husband and I enjoy everything we get at a restaurant, but here everything was absolutely delicious. If you are in the Salt Lake City area and are looking for an incredible Italian restaurant, look no further than Valter's Osteria.“

“DELICIOUS!I thought this was gonna be a fine dining service, but it was not, it is more casual but relaxed, I liked it, fine dishes in a casual atmosphere. We came for lunch and asked for the Heirloom Caprese as appetizer, so good. Then I asked for Parpadelle al Tartufo: Wonderful! So tasty, creamy, loved the pasta and the flavor in general along with mushrooms. Also the Truffle pizza was so astounding!! I would say the pizza is one of the best I’ve tried in Salt lake city. Our server was great and attentive, forgot to ask his name to give a shout out. The place has an urban style, cool! I am definitely coming back!“

“I came for the unlimited soup, salad, breadsticks. It all was super good but my waiter, Tristan, was even better. We first went to an olive garden across the valley but it was too busy. My spouse is vegan and he was incredibly accommodating to us. Thank you again for the great service!Dietary restrictions: Has a few vegan options.“

“I came here for the first time tonight. The food was actually pretty good for what you would expect out of the airport hotel bar; however, the service is fantastic. I had Matt as my bartender, he was very attentive, friendly, and generally personable. Also the vibe was generally positive, many of the other patrons were friendly, and it felt like a very welcoming space to people from all backgrounds. I really had no expectations but was impressed overall!“

“We found this gem on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Definitely worth the visit. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food with plenty of gluten-free options for those with diet restrictions. Being downtown, parking can be a bit of an issue, but the experience is worth the trouble. Also, if visiting during peak times, reservations should be considered.“
