The neopolitan pizza was delicious - not just by Utah standards. The dough was soft and chewy and slightly charred, the sauce was slightly sweet and tangy, and the cheese tasted super fresh. It was topped with cloves of roasted garlic, fresh basil, and parmesan, all of which came together very well.

“This is the best Italian restaurant in AMERICA! My husband and I visited Salt Lake City 2 weeks ago on vacation and walked into this place without planning ahead and we were really surprised when we saw such a beautiful interior, and the food surprised us even more! We tried the panini, the pasta with vodka sauce, and the whipped brie (it was so delicious that we wanted to move to this city just to eat this magnificence EVERY DAY!). The manager told us about the person who opened this place and how they bring ingredients directly from Italy. Guys, thank you for what you do, you are so cool and talented, I want to come to your restaurant every day but I live in California 😭

“Carlucci’s Bakery is a hidden gem in Salt Lake City. The bakery has a cozy atmosphere and an incredible selection of fresh pastries and desserts. The chocolate chip cookie was soft and buttery, while the Florentine cookie was crisp, nutty, and perfectly dipped in dark chocolate. A great local bakery that’s well worth the stop.“

“Excellent pizza and pasta. I was also impressed by the service of this casual dinning. Every guest was taken care of with extra requests at the table or making sure everything was tasting good. Even as a carry out order I was offered bread and water while I waited. It was busy but I still received my food much faster than anticipated. I am not sure if they have soda fountain or just bottles- but if they only offer bottles. Will visit again . Thank you Christopher and staff for the great customer service.“

Their food is delicious and comforting and speaks to the passion and dedication of the staff. The cost is affordable especially in comparison to similar restaurants in the area who don't have half the quality. Galeano's location is spacious and airy, with a wall of windows, high ceilings, and the clean and clear open concept floor plan.“

“ad a really good date night at Junah this past Saturday (6/20/26). It's Italian-Japanese fusion, which seems like an unusual pairing to me, but I feel it worked very well.

Standouts were the miso cod, Aurora crudo, tagliolino al mentaiko, and matcha tiramisu. The cod was the overall winner. My wife said it was one of the best things she's ever eaten, which is high praise from her.

Overall, I thought it was one of the more interesting upscale meals I've had in Salt Lake recently. The vibe was not stuffy at all, and we had a great time and incredible service.

Low light was the inability to seat us for our reservation on time despite a text confirming our table was ready. I hope they can get that figured out!“

“-INITIAL REACTION- We walked in to a seat yourself sign. It was packed but we got lucky that they were wiping down a two top near the bar right as we walked in. Our server Erik was there within a minute with water, wished us a happy valentines, and told us about the specials for the night. While he grabbed our drink orders, a blackberry mule and a soda, we looked at the menu. -FOOD- My wife was already sold on the surf and turf. I was trying to decided between a burger, pasta, or pizza when the table behind us got their food and the fish and chips looked too good. We also got an order of the croquettes, we did 2 ham and cheese and 2 regular. The croquettes came out quickly and were crispy, massive, and cheesy, with two really good sauces (garlic aioli and spicy tomato) to dip. The haddock was massive and the breading was perfectly crisp, the fish was light and nicely seasoned and was perfectly complemented by the tartar sauce (which tasted fresh and I would guess is made in house but I didn't verfiy that). The Asian slaw was tangy and fresh and the chips were some of the best I've had, reat seasoning, crispy exterior and a fluffy interior, almost a midway between potato wedges and potato skins. My wife got the Surf n Turf special and it was delicious. The prime rib was in a red wine reduction sauce, the steak was cooked beautifully. The potatoes were creamy and buttery. I didn't personally try the lobster but my wife said it was amazing. -SERVICE- We were served by Erik and he did fantastic, was quick, personable, attentive, gave great recommendations, and never once did my soda reach the bottom before he was checking if I wanted a refill. Towards the end of the meal we were visited by the manager Marc to see how everything was and ended up chatting with him for a while. He got us boxes, gave tips on reheating and gave us some to go containers of the sauces. Overall the service was some of the best we've gotten in recent memory. -COST- The average plate is about $20-30 and honestly for the quality and the amount of food you get it is extremely fair imo.“
